Oh, so he anger had been because of jolly old Borr! "Yeah...him." Really that was all Dash could say about that man unless he went and got in a argument with the portrait as well.

Did something happen? Yeah. A lot of things went on, but of course with all the commotion it would have been easy for Edvard to miss it all. "The minister tried to whack me with his cane. Like I was one of those snowmen- except of course the man did it on purpose. So I gave him a few choice words. Might have said something about him being a terrible minister." He might have. Really, Dash couldn't remember anymore. The man did however wish that he had said more. "Perhaps..." He would probably give in.

Dash looked around making sure that any passing students weren't listening in on them, before lowering his voice. "Did you hear....about Chad?"

The school year was winding down and Harlow couldn't have had a better time.

But she was looking forward to being home with her sisters and maybe even her brothers. If she were in a festive mood. She was walking along the corridors intending to head to the Great Hall for lunch.

"Why you're no bigger than a flea." A voice laughed. Harlow turned around and looked for the voice, but no one was there. "Ahem up here." she looked up at the portrait of a witch in a corseted evening gown sitting under a tree.

"Are you talking to me?" Harlow asked the witch. She had never been called a flea before and she was not entirely sure that was a compliment either.

Timber was making his way through the first floor corridor like he often did. As he rounded the corner he noticed a tiny first year looking at one of the portraits in shock. " Your first chat with the portraits?" He asked curiously.

Harlow squealed at the sound of a new voice and turned around. She blushed at her obvious overreaction, but she couldn't help it. She had been so focused on the talking portrait that she simply hadn't heard him walking up. "Oh well yes if you must know." she told him.

She pointed to the lady in the evening gown, "She said I was no bigger than a flea and I don't really know what that means." And she was sure it wasn't anything nice.

Timber laughed lightly and slipped his hands into his pockets and leaned casually against the wall. " She was just meaning your small, have to say I agree you are quiet small."

Harlow looked down at herself. Yes, she was rather small for her age. There wasn't anything to be done or said about that. She wasn't going to get much bigger than what she was. "Well there is nothing wrong with being small. Good things come in small packages," she pointed out to him. "Not everyone can be a giant like you, you know." she said looking up and up and up at him.

"I suppose to you I would seem a giant. But there's notthing wrong with being tall either." He said with a smile. " So what's your name? or should I just refer to you as the tiny slytherin girl?" He asked playfully.

"I'm Harlow Riddle." she gave him a little curtsy. "If it pleases you who might you be?" she asked. "Or shall I just call you the Hufflepuff giant?" she giggled. Now that was a funny thought indeed.

" Timber Brooks" He said as he pushed himself off the wall and stood up extending his hand to shake hers.

Harlow thought that was a totally unique name, "I like your name." she told him as she tried to shake his hand. It was so big and hers was so small she couldn't fit her whole hand around his to really grasp it to shake. So she settled to just pat the top of his hand. "Are you muggle born?" she asked him.

" Halfblood actually," Timber admitted "And Harlow is an interesting name too. SO what has you wondering about the first floor between lessons?" He asked curiously.

Harlow nodded, "Oh thats nice. So you got to play with video games and magic." her eyes twinkled. Her brothers like video games, even if they couldn't play with them in the house. "I like my name." she nodded. And she loved her middle name too. But she didn't want to tell him that and seem like she was preening or anything. "Oh I don't really have anything else to do and no one to play with." she admitted.

" Yeah Occasionally, But I prefer being outside playing sports rather than videogames." He answered " Well I think you have a pretty name Harlow."He said with a friendly smile. "I don't really have anything to do either

Harlow nodded, her cloud of hair bouncing along with her. "What sports do you play? I made the quidditch team this year. Though it was scary being up on that broom." She had been scared out of her mind, but she wanted to play and in the end they had won. "Oh thanks my middle name is Syria because that's where I was born." she explained. "We could go play hide and go seek. I'm really good at that game." She didn't want to tell him that she was good at it because she was so small. That would give away her advantage.

Timber smiled it had been a while since he last played hide and seek but he didn't really see a problem in it." Alright,Do you want to play inside or out on the grounds?" He asked seriously.

It was early, too early for any students to be up just yet, which was why Arya chose this time to do her first patrols before heading over to the great hall for breakfast. As just like every morning, she was caught listening to one of the portraits tell her a story from one of their many adventures. Arya didn't mind, and actually looked forward to this part of her day.

There was always a good conversation to be had with these portraits.

As she nodded her head, she felt something move in he pocket, reached in, and pulled out Muffs. While the wizard went on about mummies, she withdrew her wand, and gave it a small twirl, finishing with a point at the metal egg cupped in her hand.

Her fingers twitched at the warmth that flowed out of her wand's tip. When the twitching seemed to lessen, she ended the spell, and repeated the wand movement. Argentum Humidus. The extra bit of humidity made Muffs a bit slippery, but the egg finally settled so she supposed it was worth it.

Back in her pocket she went, and Arya continued to give the wizard her full attention until it was time for her to move on.
