| astronomizzle ♧ gryffinDORK | & the rest is drag ♣ #badluckDerf Oh...dear...Merlin....
Paige's eyes widened when she saw the bubbling of her skin continue - a FAR cry from fluffy white feathers - and bit down hard on her lower lip to prevent herself from squeaking or making any other sort of noise that may distract others. Not to mention draw attention to herself and her, um, situation. Oh...dear...Merlin....
Wand out and in preparation to reverse the spell before it got TOO far, Paige ended up dropping her wand when she saw the bubbles elongate and drip down through the gaps between her fingers and over either side of the back of her hand towards the floor like melted plastic. THOSE WERE NOT FEATHERS EITHER! Or perhaps she needed to readminister the spell and this was an in-between stage? "Mutare Pellem," she mumbled, a bit unconvincingly AND against her better judgement.
Nope. NOPE. Definitely NOT.
In fact she was only speeding up the process now, her skin stretching and elongating off the back of her hand like maple syrup dripping over the edge of pancakes.
"Oh oh oh oh oh," she muttered to herself as she threw herself to her knees and scrambled towards her wand that had rolled a little bit away from her across the classroom floor. The silver lining of this was that her drippy skin was NOT painful.
At least not yet.
Where was her bloody wand!?
