[QUOTE=D.A Forever;9673816]Artie smiled warmly, finding it rather adorable how much the children coming through the shop enjoyed the Pygmy Puffs, and the Pygmy's took to them just as easily. Though, she supposed, that was a way of life for the little furrballs. "You absolutely may, dear. That'll be 1 galleon,"

Leah fished a large gold Galleon out of her pocket and handed it to Artie. She carefully lifted up her new pygmy puff and her ferret and placed them back in her hood. She picked up the cage, "Thanks..." she said and left...

"Thanks, and I'm glad to hear it." Artie chuckled lightly when the young girl declared she could keep up with the Pygmy's food needs. She hadn't any doubts before, but she wouldn't need to now. The Pygmy was in good hands.

"You are very welcome, have a good summer!" Turning to the register, the Shopkeeper deposited the money before turning back to her next customer.

"Hello," Artie greeted while the girl moved a little daring Pygmy Puff away from the box of fireworks, wearing a rather amused expression. Getting a bag out and charming it to lighten the load and make everything fit into a normal-sized bag, whether or not it normally would have (in this case it wouldn't have), Artie began to arrange the items inside with the basic fireworks going first. They did have an age limit on the fireworks, but she wasn't too worried at the moment; the girl was in her teens, probably around fourteen or fifteen and the requirement was fifteen years old and up. "Will this be all for you, then?"

With the last of the purchases in the bag, Artie left the Pygmy Puff and it's little cage on the side.

Leilani nodded, smiling. "Mmhmm." She watched as he fit the items into a bag, curious as to how much they would cost. Not too much hopefully. Noramally she would have already figured it out, but she'd been so mesmerized by everything in the store that she hadn't bothered to add it all up. Oh well.

"Alrighty, that comes to 8 galleons and 7 sickles." Artie said, sliding the bag across the counter for easier reach.

"Aha, I need that back, Jinx. It's not for you to chew on," Artie spoke absently, kneeling down to retrieve the key she wiped on the side of her jeans to rid them of drool as she stood once again and faced the waiting boys with the same gentle smile, unlocking a drawer at her side while she explained, "I have to keep the candies over here locked up for when little ones are visiting so there won't be a problem of them accidentally eating one."

Taking one of the mixed, variety bags from inside, Artie closed the drawer but left it unlocked this time and held the bag of candies up to show the young man a colorful list on the front that identified the different kinds, what they did and what they looked like (color, shape and any other specifics in appearance). "Make sure not to lose that parchment, it works as a guide and without it you'll be taking a risk worse than eating Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, or rather having someone else eat them."

"8 galleons and 7 sickles is the new total," she added, setting the candies in the bag and slid it closer to him.

Dozer looked on as the Shopkeeper went to retrieve a key from her dog who was lying on the floor. Leaning over the counter he inspected the beast and gave a low whistle. Reaching into his pocket he gave Lola a gentle pat as she snoozed away the afternoon. Would she get that big? Merlin help him if she did.

As the Shopkeeper headed to the case that held the candy he couldn't help but ask, "What kind of dog is she? I have a small puppy but I don't know anything about them or if she'll get that big." He chuckled as he tried to imagine his little pup getting the monstrously big.

She brought a bag with a parchment attached over to the counter and explained that he couldn't loose it. He nodded. The last thing he needed was to try and eat one and get them mixed up. She gave him the new total and he reached into his wallet and extracted the right amount and laid it on the counter. "Thanks for all your help."

"She's a four month old labrador retriever and she's nowhere near done growing yet," Artie replied with a quick, fond glance down at her pudgy puppy before turning her gaze back to the young man. "Hm, well what does she look like? I might know, if not you could always check over at the bookstore, Flourish and Blotts; their Muggle section might have a book on dog breeds that'll tell you about her."

Setting the bag of candies inside with the other joke shop products, Artie slid the bag toward the boy and smiled warmly at his words. "You're very welcome. Have a good summer."

Daniel took the time to look at what he had got. One Basic Blaze Box. Not sure what he would do with that but he'd find something. "Awesome! I'll go get those, then." Artie said and with a swish of her wand, she excused herself from behind the counter and soon disappeared into the crowd of children while the seperate piles of thingymabobs began setting themselves into the bags that also sprang to life, opening wide to make the job easier.

Once two of the bags were filled and the counter cleared, both bags became motionless on the countertop and Artemis returned, taking her position behind the counter. "Here we go. Your total comes to19 galleons and 12 sickles." She said, placing the boxes she had collected from the storage room neatly inside the young man's bag before sliding it closer to him.

Though, I have noticed they seem to particularly like the taste of crup food; No idea why."

Thankfully, Artie had been able to quickly sort through the items the boy had set down before they had bagged themselves, giving her a chance to add up the total on her way to the back room just as she had managed to do with the first young man.

With the products organized into a single charmed bag, the box of basic fireworks were left to the side until Artemis moved them in front of her, folding her hands over it as she addressed the young man with a gentle gaze, "How old are you, dear? I'm afraid I can't let you buy fireworks without your parent's or guardian's permission unless you're atleast fifteen, and you certainly don't look that old."

"Hello dear," Artemis greeted the small girl in her usual warm tone, pleased to see that the children were starting to talk a bit more than they had been earlier in the summer. Reaching under the counter for another bag, she placed the two Snackboxes inside and set it back on the countertop, ready to go. "I'll let you pick out the little cage carrier since they come in different colors, and we actually don't sell food for Pygmy Puffs. As of right now, there isn't such a thing, because Pygmy's will eat just about anything you give them or they can reach on their own. Just be sure to avoid letting him or her have anything with little bones in it, and you should be fine." Artie explained, nodding slightly at the end. "It depends on the Kneazle, I suppose. Pygmy's tend not to have anything personal against any other creatures, they're generally happy little puffs. It would be the other animal you'd want to worry about. Oh, and your total comes to 3 galleons."

Jimbo walked over to the Front Counter carefully levitating the packages in front of him, especially since there was already a load of people there, he'd have to be careful managing the stuff so as not to pummel them.

Usually, he might have waited about a minute before getting annoyed and pushing to the front of the line or something like that but since he had Monty waiting for him and it was getting rather difficult to levitate these packages, he found some empty space on the counter to lay his stuff down.

Just as he did that he wondered whether or not he should be rude and ask for the shopkeeper's attention or whether he should wait that one minute like he always does.

He settled on waiting the minute, but once that minute was over, he might have to do something drastic. He really needed these dungbombs in his possession so he could feel better at the moment.

Lucy cupped her hands and reached down into the pen and let the little fuzz ball waddle into her hands. The little purple fuzz ball crawled into her hands, gurgling nonsense. N'aww. It was too cute. TOO CUTE! She brought the purple fuzz ball up to her cheek and nuzzled it. "Gchoo. Aggee gshooch." the little fuzz ball gurgled. Lucy wanted one. Badly! "Well hello cutie." She cooed, holding the ball of fuzz up to her face. "Would you like to come home with me?" she said softly. The ball of fuzz dribbled. "Gscudoooo deee gschoooch." Lucy giggled. "I think I'll get you my luffly. I'll have to think of a name for you...hmm." She sighed then looked at the fluff ball that was dancing around in circles on her palms.

Lucy walked up to the desk and smiled. She lifted the little pygmy puff onto her shoulder. She nuzzled it and then smiled at the shopkeeper. She didn't get a cage. She didn't want to keep the cute critter in a cage. That was like... like... ABUSE! Just unfair. Anyway, she pulled out the galleon and offered to the shopkeeper. She nuzzled the ball of fluff again.

Darn it. He had hoped he looked about fifteen. But it wasn't the end yet. Daniel quickly put on a confused face "Sorry?" he asked in a confused sort of voice. Then he said "Oh. Those. They're not mine. They're Salandar's " he said looking over at the older guy, hopefully he would go along with it "Aren't they?" he asked hoping he could see the pleading in his eyes. Daniel was doing anything wrong. He was sure that dad would have let him get the fireworks. Probably. He just didn't have written permission.

Artie said and with a swish of her wand, she excused herself from behind the counter and soon disappeared into the crowd of children while the seperate piles of thingymabobs began setting themselves into the bags that also sprang to life, opening wide to make the job easier.

"Alrighty..." Salander replied fishing the moneybag out of his pocket. He was just counting the galleons out when he overheard the shopkeep give Daniel the not-so-great news. He tilted his head back at the fireworks shelves and frowned just slightly I didnt know these things had minimum age requirements he mused.

I'm afraid I can't let you buy fireworks without your parent's or guardian's permission unless you're atleast fifteen, and you certainly don't look that old."

Salander's head swung swiftly back at the shopkeep and Daniel. He gave a great big laugh to conceal his surprise, then clapped the young boy's shoulders, giving him a strong-- but friendly-- shake "What am I gonna do without my man Dan?" he beamed at the shopkeep, "Yeah he was just holding it for me, 'was too busy searching for those Decoy Detonators." he chuckled then slid the box of fireworks next to his pile of purchases "How much would these be all now Miss?...

Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes was as busy as ever, and in her mission to keep thinks moving at a normal pace while keeping an eye on the pudgy puppy behind the counter with her, Artie had somehow managed to drop a pile of papers she had out.

Shuffling them back into a neat little stack, Artie quickly straightened and set them near the register where she could collect them later and offered the next young customer a friendly smile, "Hello. What can I do for you?"

She didn't want to keep the cute critter in a cage. That was like... like... ABUSE! Just unfair. Anyway, she pulled out the galleon and offered to the shopkeeper. She nuzzled the ball of fluff again.

"Hello," Artie greeted as a young woman approached the counter, noting the sweet little Pygmy on her shoulder. Just as she opened her mouth to say something, the woman handed her a gold coin without a word. "I suppose that'll be all for you, then?" She asked with a small chuckle, accepting the galleon as she spoke.

Artie's eyebrows raised, watching the two boys in an almost amused way, though not quite. Did she really look that old, or that daft not to know what they were up to? It wasn't that long ago she'd been a kid herself. Which was exactily why she was going to let them slide this one time, because she had been their age before and really, how much trouble could they get themselves into? Artemis let out a soft, weary sigh and fixed the boys with a gentle gaze. "Just don't do anything stupid, nothing they will harm yourself or another being. Alright?" She requested quietly as not to be overheard by anyone else, getting out another bag and took the box of fireworks from the older boy, Salander, to put in the seperate bag and place it with his other.

"24 galleons and 12 sickles," She added, nodding to Salander in reply to his question, and then to the younger one (Daniel). "And 12 galleons, 8 sickles for you."
