“Are you going to come out now, Dani?” Luke sighed as he sat on the other side of his eight year old sister’s bedroom door.

“No” Dani said as she folded her arms crossly and threw her teddy bear across the room, her bright blonde curls bouncing as she did so and her pretty pink ribbon fell out.

“You can’t ignore me forever” Luke said as he rolled his eyes and threw his ball at the opposite wall and whistled.

“Yes I can!” Dani responded loudly as she frowned deeply to herself. “Stupid brothers” she muttered angrily under her breath.

Danielle looked down into the cauldron suspiciously.

“Hmm… how about we put this in next?” she said slowly, picking up the strange looking powder that looked like the picture of the powdered horn in the book. Orabelle shrugged- “Go on” she sighed as a nervous Dani let the granules fall into the cauldron.

She froze still as nothing happened, even Orabelle did. “Phew” Dani sighed with a smirk at her friend-
“That was good…” she started, before a loud BANG emerged from their cauldron- both girls left to look at each other with smudges of smoke all over their faces.

A two year old Danielle chased, well toddled after her big brother Luke on the beach. Her little face brightened up with a big smile, her bouncy blonde curls gleaming in the sunlight as she giggled.

Dani loved to chase her big brother around; she could always catch him! Although, unbeknownst to the toddler. Luke went purposefully slow so that his baby sister could easily catch up.

“Got bruvva!” Dani giggled as she reached up for his hand. Luke smiled, picking her up- “Now I’ve got you!” he laughed as he ran around with a giggling Dani in his arms.

Danielle stared at the… the thing. “It’s the Sorting Hat” a nearby girl whispered to her. “Oh” Dani muttered in reply- that thing was going to go on her head. How very unhygienic. She shifted uncomfortably on the spot until it was the transfers’ turns to go up.

“Danielle Dubois” her name was called and she slowly moved up to sit on the chair elegantly. Sighing as the hat was placed on her head. “Hmm… interesting, young lady. Slytherin!” the hat called out cheerfully. Dani sighed and smiled smugly as she made her way to the table of the snakes.

Danielle frowned at the chants from her friends. “Kiss him! Kiss him!”
Well, she didn’t want to kiss Henry Jacques.

She folded her arms and glared at ‘Belle angrily. “I know it’s a dare but…” “You have to do it, Danielle” Orabelle smirked teasingly. Dani groaned as she walked across the beach and tapped Henry on the shoulder.

He turned around and smiled at her- “Danielle!” the dark haired boy blushed as he smiled shyly at her. Dani sighed before moving forward and kissing him softly. Giggling as she pulled back, turning and running back to her friends. Poor guy.

“Want chocolate! Want chocolate!” the two year old Lana demanded as she sat on Dani’s bed and watched her Auntie. Dani sighed and turned to her-

“Your Daddy will not be happy with me…” she said as she put her finger to her mouth in a sssh motion and pulled open what she had aptly named her ‘sweet drawer’- which was basically a drawer… full of sweets and chocolate!

She pulled out a chocolate bar and opened it up rather quickly- snapping off a small chunk to give to Lana before deciding to treat herself with some. “Yummy!” she giggled.

“You two, if this is your idea of fun then I am really not very impressed” Dani said as they stumbled through the nearby woods. Connor and Dan laughed- ha, her discomfort was obviously amusing for them.

“Who’s got the torch?” she asked as she tripped over a fallen branch.

“I have” Dan said as he spookily switched it on, grinning in an evil way as he held it beneath his chin and began recounting spooky stories.

It was then that the muggle torch decided to die on them. “Oh no…” they all chorused, Dani glared at the boys. Idiots.

Dani smiled as she gently twirled around in her electric blue dress- it clung to her and the diamante belt around her waist gave it that extra special touch. She placed the tiara in her mass of blonde curls and sighed happily. There, perfect.

She turned and paced a little- her little silver heels clicking against the wooden floorboards. Soon deciding that it was time, she headed out and practically ran down the steps. Smiling at who she saw there “Dallas” she said softly as she did a sweet curtsy to him before moving over and giving him a kiss.

Danielle was sat on a towel, looking out at the sea as she clapped her chubby little hands together. She moved and crawled towards the sea, but was quickly swept up by her Mum, Alexandra. “Not now sweetheart” she said softly as she rocked her daughter in her arms and looked out of the ocean, sighing deeply as she thought of what could have been with her Rowan.

Dani looked out and waved her little hand at her big brother adoringly- “Lu!” she managed to get out, Alex rocked her proudly- “Yes, Luke” she said softly as Dani smiled happily.

A heavily pregnant Danielle picked up her daughter and frowned at her husband- "Philip..." she warned him as he revved up the car. “I won’t be too long, baby” he said softly, before winking at her, blowing kisses and then driving off into the distance.

Soon later, Dani was out in the garden, watching their little girl running around as she rested a hand on her bump and sat back in the lounger. It was then a dark shadow loomed over her and she turned to see Philip carrying a huge bunch of pink roses. “My favourite” she whispered happily.

Danielle walked down the corridor- she hadn’t been to the house in years. She stopped at one picture and looked up, letting tears fall down her face as she looked at the portrait of her Mum. She was beautiful, Alexandra had always been so beautiful and it made Dani smile. She let her fingers move up to trace the moving, smiling figure of her young Mum and sighed before pulling her hand back and moving down the corridor, looking closely at the different portraits of her various family members.

“I love you” a voice said, and it made Dani smile.

“I’m warning you. He’s bad news” Luke said to his sister. Dani watched him and frowned. “No he’s not, Luke. You don’t even know him properly!” she whined a little, irritated at her brother’s nosing about in her business. “Your love life is messed up enough, so stop getting in mine!” she said, rather abruptly as she noticed the look on Luke’s face.

“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t…” Dani started before seeing Luke storm out of the room, she sighed and sat back in her chair. She knew he was only trying to protect her, but she didn’t need it anymore.

“You’re awfully cheerful today, Danielle” James smirked as Dani turned around and poured out some Pumpkin Juice from the nearby jug into her usual pink goblet. “Why shouldn’t I be?” she laughed.

“Does it have anything to do with those absolutely incredible NEWT results that you achieved?” James asked as he moved around the counter and gave her a hug. Dani giggled, nodding “Thank you for the flowers, and the chocolates, and the money” she said softly- “Thank you so much” she whispered to the man that had been more of a Father to her than her own had been.

Dani threw the sheep covered pyjamas at ‘Belle, who was having a good moan as usual. “Just put them on Belle and let’s go to sleep” Dani sighed as she moved to lay back on the very uncomfortable ground of the tent. “This is ridiculous” ‘Belle muttered as she scrambled around the small tent trying to put the pyjamas on quickly. And Dani couldn’t help but smirk a little

“But you have to admit, on the whole it’s been pretty cool” she nodded to herself, thinking about the awesome week they’d had seeing the dragons and stuff. “Hmm” ‘Belle groaned.

Dani ignored her sniggering twin Dan- “I hate that subject” she said angrily as she looked at the parchment of results in front of her. “Astronomy and me do not get on” she said as she jealously looked at Dan’s results from Durmstrang. “You did so well” she sighed as she smiled at her brother who moved and gave her a big hug- “Yeah I did, I beat you in Astronomy” he winked at her teasingly and she moved to hit him. And when she did, it obviously hurt him.

Ha good. “Ouch!” Dan said as Dani rolled her eyes.

Dani smiled her beautiful smile at the new addition sat at their exclusive dining table. “So… you’re Veela. Wow” she smirked as ‘Belle and the other girls nodded. “You’re one of us now for sure” Madeline said softly as she pushed back her dark auburn curls and smiled her pearly white smile at this… Savannah.

“So, here you go” ‘Belle said, passing Savannah one of their special ‘P’ badges, a little golden pin in the shape of a P with pink crystals- the P for Popular, of course. Dani smiled as they welcome a new girl into their legendary group.

As Dani looked at the wide selection of what would definitely be classed as culinary delights in front of her on the long table, she couldn’t quite believe her eyes. They had never really had anything like this back at Beauxbatons. Everything had been a lot less… calorie consuming. But this was incredible! It wasn’t long before she’d pretty much dived in for a cupcake, taking her time to eat it. She could seriously get used to this, well she was going to have to.

‘Belle didn’t look impressed- “I am going to put on so much weight…” she groaned.

Dani stepped out of the muggle cab, a smile spread across her face. She slipped down her sunglasses and looked around. Oxford Street- shopping time! The pretty blonde stepped out from the car, her pretty pink heels clicking on the pavement as she headed straight to her favourite muggle shop- Topshop.

As she went in, she had to stop herself from squealing. If she got her fashion designing career wish, she was so going to design for this shop. It would be incredible. After stepping out of her dream, she quickly ran around the shop- it was like her heaven.

Dani sat on the couch, as soon as she heard the door open, she squealed excitedly and ran to the door as Luke walked through with the baby carrier. Dani jumped up and down and looked at the gorgeous, baby girl- “Oh my gosh! She’s beautiful! I’m an Auntie!” she said as she hugged her slightly sad looking brother before moving and lifting Lana from the carrier.

“Hey beautiful baby girl” she whispered as she moved and kissed her tiny niece’s forehead, the baby watched her curiously before gurgling and reaching out, grabbing onto Dani’s finger. “She’s perfect” Dani whispered.

“Of course I can act!” Dani giggled mischievously as she ran barefoot through the garden and stopped suddenly, twirling around and smiling as her pretty white dress flowed with her, the little hippie style flower filled headband across her head.

“Look” she instructed Dan to watch her before pointing over at Luke who was sat nearby with his girlfriend. Suddenly, Dani burst into tears and fell onto the ground- “Dan, you are horrible!” she shouted as she kicked her legs against the ground, Luke rushed over- “What have you done now?” he asked Dan, as Dani smiled to herself cheekily.
