Hellooooo! Happy Almost June- wow- :blink: Can’t believe we’re almost halfway through 2022. It feels like it’s zoooming past us!

Hiya! I’m Shannon - feel free to call me Shannon, Shan, Watson, or Emms (I’d probably still respond to that name haha). I'm excited to be the June Mod here at Platform 9 and 3/4! :woot:

So my Harry Potter story: I got into Harry Potter at a very young age. My brother read the Philosopher’s Stone first and I, being the youngest child I am, asked my parents to read it to me because I was just learning how to read :lol: It’s certainly a characteristic that I share with my school RPG character :xd: Aaaand I’ve been with SS for more than 10 years now! Over the years, I’ve gotten the opportunity to play different characters here and there (a House Elf, a IMPS competitor, and more). Currently, I am a moderator for Honeydukes (Fanfiction). I currently play the History of Magic Professor (Simon Holden) in the SSRPG.

Outside of SS, I make party food! I’m a party food manager which is always fun- i have some really awesome party tricks and facts to share. SPEAKING OF FUN- outside of work, I love to try new restaurants, hang out with my dog, making food, watching TV shows (I am OBSESSED WITH KENOBI! Ugh. So so so good), and have recently gotten into painting.

Anyway, super excited to be here to get to know y’all a little more! :loved:

…..I DO have a question for all of YOU! :mwaha: I thought I’d change things up a little :eyebrows: If you could be any ice cream, what would you be and why?

OOH GOOD QUESTION! I love stamps because of places where I’ve travelled but I’ve always adored stickers ever since I was a kid. I still adore stickers- i do collect ones from places I’ve visited or events I enjoyed. My favourite sticker is one that Chelliephone gave me to decorate a bag that I have for concerts! It’s one that says: “You nice keep going!” :loved:

I don’t get to go to many parties for my company but I’m gearing up for several Nerd Alerts with friends. Ooh cotton candy explosion sounds amazing! I think I’d be mint chocolate chip cause I’m original like chocolate chip but fresh like mint :eyebrows: (don’t ask me how long I’ve been wordsmithing that answer :lol: — too LONG!)

OMG…. Lately it’s “I drink and I know things” from Game of Thrones. I always tell this to my direct reports over a cup of espresso :xd:

I have that’s true!! Soooooo I was originally trying to get Lisa into Hufflepuff but Ravenclaw fit so I think Hufflepuff is surely next. My house… oh gosh that’s tough. My favourite colour is aquamarine. I've always loved the colours of blue and green that I can see in the ocean waves. :loved:

My favourite animal is a polar bear. I think they are adorable! I wouldn't like to be close to one :lol: but I like admiring them in photos especially the polar bear cubs.
