Magical Product Testing Area This door remains locked at all times. The only way to enter the room is to place your hand on the door at the same time as turning the knob with your other hand. We don't want to risk a muggle finding the odd shipments that IMC gets sent to them. Please do not remove anything from this room unless it is under a concealment charm. |
After pondering what she was supposed to do for a moment in her cubicle, Cynthia set of to the Magical Product Testing Area. She was the one and only Tester, after all, and she didn't have anything better to do. Her assignment was vague. She came in, being careful to remember how. This really stank. Cynthia wanted to get back into the ministry as much as anyone else, but what did she have to do? The Testing room had seemingly everything, which overwhelmed her. Cynthia compulsively took out her wand until she remembered that this was muggle London, and she didn't want to get in trouble on her first day. At all. She was more cranky than usual. Having spent almost all night planning for her first day as Tester, she was very tired. That morning she'd drank a lot of coffee, which maybe wasn't a good idea. Cynthia had an, uh, slight addiction to caffeine. She needed it for the amount of effort she did, but it was becoming a problem. Before she conked out, she muttered, "I really need to stop drinking coffee..." THUMP! |

Staying in the Muggle world wasn't exactly his idea of a good thing, even though he was sure he had left Beth all the way back in France he didn't want to take the chance that somehow someone connected to both of them were to come here and see him. He didn't want to think about what exactly would happen then . He hadn't exactly left on good terms with everyone back there. It would just be better for him to go back to the Wizarding world He arrived at his current destination, the testing room and did the required task to enter. upon entering he saw one of the new employees appearing to be unconscious. he quickly made his way over and gave her cheek a few soft-ish pats "Hey?, please don't be dead...hey..." hmm they weren't suppose to but Stephen doubted there were any Muggles around. He quickly took out his wand, pointed it at the woman's face and then cast the first spell that came to mind "Aguamenti" Hopefully that would do the trick |
"¡¿Qué diablos?!" ("What the heck?!) Cynthia gasped, trying to remember where she was and what she was doing. She was soaking wet and often when first waking up she reverted to speaking Spanish, her mother tongue. Then the memory came flooding back. Cynthia hoped she didn't look like a hopeless dork and wobbily got to her feet. "Thanks," she muttered. She then cleared her throat and said, "This isn't a usual occurrence, just so you know." Cynthia wanted to know how long she'd been out, but didn't care to ask. It didn't feel like long, but who really knew... She was sopping wet, probably the effect of a water-making spell. But she could easily fix that. Doing a hot-air charm, that was done. Her robes were newly cleaned and warm from the hot air. Brushing herself off, she introduced herself. She wasn't sure whether she'd met the man before. "I'm Cynthia de la Rosa. And you?" |

"Ciao Bello"(Hello Beautiful) "Your welcome anything for a pretty girl, It doesn't huh? I'm not sure I believe you" he mused in a rather teasing way. Now that he though about it he wouldn't be surprised if it happened all the time, But he would keep that thought to himself. Hispanics were always hot blooded, whenever he encountered them and he didn't want to take the chance and upset her "Oh Cynthia, that's a pretty name,Im Stephen Degales" he outstretched his hand in greeting."So what happend?" he asked in regard to her passing out spell. |
Oh. So Stephen was that kind of guy. Most of all, what Cynthia hated was being pretty. That came out stupidly, but it was true. Looks (to her!) were a distraction from all things important in life. And then there were the men who liked her. She wouldn't even start about them. "Thank you," she said. In English. The Spanish had been a mistake, and he seemed to be mixing it up with Italian. Stephen probably thought she was a regular old klutz now. However much she hated men like him, she didn't want that reputation. And he is good-looking, she thought. But not my type. Why did she let him save her? |

"Your welcome, and since you haven't answered my question may I assume that you passing out is just a regular occurrence that has no reason why?" If that were the case he would probably start a pool on when she would next pass out . |

Stephen now seemed not as enthusiastic as before. Then he asked if fainting was a regular occurrence and why. She began, "No, this has never happened before, and it won't happen again. I'm not narcoleptic, and I don't have any other medical condition that would make me fall asleep. Well, if I ate a peanut I'd go into anaphylactic shock, but that's different. No, I'm just mildly addicted to coffee." |

He leaned in closer to her face and stopped about three inches away "Dont worry your pretty little head ill try my best to behave from now on" slow easy smile made its way across his face as he told her that "Oh? well if you want i could give you a special condition that'll possible put you to sleep for a few days. Stephen then whispered in her ear. "After all im a professional in my field" He sent a wink her way. |
Cynthia felt her face grow hot. When she had signed up for this job, she had not expected coworkers like Stephen. She wasn't sure what to say or do. She was not used to men being this close to her "pretty little head". Was he flirting? Cynthia didn't know, nor did she want to. Out of her comfort zone. Then again, most things were. All that registered in her head was that she indeed did not want to be put to sleep for a few days. No, she had to work. Once that thought came into being, she was aware of the normal workaholic that she was used to. She no longer stood there gawking at Stephen like an idiot. "I'm quite fine, thanks," she managed to squeak out. |
