Ivy enters politely and takes a seat and begin drafting a letter to her parents.

Jen quietly enters the classroom and takes a seat. She takes out a few pieces of parchment and a quill, wondering if there are any other first years in the class.

Jen sighed with relief. "Hi Nat. I was beginning to think I was the only first year in here."

Jaren busied himself by reading through the Transfiguration textbook, eyes and face neutral and otherwise expressionless. As usual he was seated somewhere near the back of the classroom.

Vishu entered the class and went and sat alone. She didn't know anybody.She wanted to make friends but she was a bit shy. She just went and sat next to a Gryffindor and Slytherin first year students and took out her quill and parchment and got ready for the class. She smiled at the first years a bit.

Nadia found a seat near an open window. She cleaned her now black-framed glasses on her robes, then waited for class to start. With some luck, it would be less of a headache than last Muggles Studies fiasco...

She settled her things by the side of her desk and patiently awaited to start, glancing every now and then at the people around her and at the Professor in the front of the class.

:: Ganymede decided to sit beside her wonderfully hyper (sarcastic) friend Jaren. She had her hair in a long braid that was red like an apple. She slumped her purple school bag onto the floor and also got her book out. The best transfiguration she could do thus far was transfiguring a candle into a disco ball.. she had tons of practice from the parties in Slytherin Commonroom. No parties this year. Some things are just gonna have to stop. She thought to herself as she played with her dove pin a little bit. She took the pin and placed it in her hair. The mirrored eye catching light from the window. She hoped to learn some advanced task this year. Perhaps transfiguring a turtle into a set of Encyclopedia Brittanica's, including the index. ::

Dru puts her head down so she isn't picked.

Selena felt that Lee should volunteer his services, so she looked at him. She knew both she and Lee felt the same way about the professor. But Selena did not volunteer she just waited for someone else to help.

Erm... raises hand? Slightly? Not sure.

"I'll help Professor." said Ivy as she raised her hand.

Tao was finishing putting all her stuff on the desk she had chosen when she heard the professor ask for volunteers. She was a bit anxious to begin, but too nervous to think of volunteering.

Amber walks in to the class room,she knows she's late but comes anyway and takes a seat at the back of the class as not to disturb any one

Nadia watched the apprehension within the croud with a frown and raised her hand, though she had already seen other three people do so. She was quite puzzled about the students stance... then again, after Shwmae's class maybe they have all resolved silent&unspotted would be always better. Nadia had an idea this must be how it felt to be in military service...

"Okay Ivy and Alex, just pass out the small wooden cages, please. Now inside you with fine a gecko who is slight stunned so it can't escape you. As soon as you have your cage you may remove the gecko and exaime it, then return it to cage until the instructions are completed. I need one to raise his or her quill into the air for a moment." the professor states. When all the quills are in the he puts out his wand and in sweeping motion all the quills are transfigured into brown quills. "I think you'll find if you nip the end on the end them they will all taste like chocolate. They aren't sugars exactly but close to it. A sort of sweet that doesn't break our new rules. If you don't want it I be happy to reverse the spell."[/color]

Dru caustiosly nibbled the end of her quill. Her face turned from inquizitiveness to delight. "These are really nice!" She exclaimed

Ivy stood and helped Alex pass out the wooden cages then she took her seat with a cage of her own and removed the gecko from the cage and admired its beauty.
