OOC Rules

• Snitchseeker.com rules apply at all times.
• Announcements will be posted in this thread prior to the opening of a lesson. Please share those with your housemates/in your common room.
• Try not to blend IC and OOC. Don't be offended by character behavior. We're all friends here. <3
• When writing/reacting in class, try to be true and realistic to your characters, their age, year, and skill set. Marking of lessons is done through a purely OOC lens, meaning RPs where a character fails at a task will be rewarded the same as those students who succeed. As long as you are participating and enjoying, you will reap the rewards.
• All students in all years are welcome to participate in RP'd lessons. However, Care of Magical Creatures is an elective, so bear that in mind.
• Catch-up is permitted at any time during a lesson, though not an obligation if you are joining a lesson late.
• If you're not online when class starts, that's fine, but if you ANNOUNCE your late arrival IC, you lose points. So just go with the flow and pretend your character has been there all along.
• Do not plagiarize each other nor steal entire answers off the internet. Originality and confusion and mess-ups are welcomed and appreciated.
• Try not edit your post for any reason other than coding mishaps, spelling/grammatical mistakes, or overlooked interactions with others.
• Have fun! If you know me at all, you should know I'm up for anything and will happily RP with you. Please drop me a PM or VM if you have an idea for an RP, an animal you want to adopt, any of that.

Care of Magical Creatures Lesson 1

• Class will be held outside in our usual location
• BUT class will be held in the evening, after dinner, rather than the usual afternoon time
• Bring your dragonhide gloves and your wand
• Bring an open mind

OOC: This is, I suppose, your IC AND OOC first CoMC lesson of the year! If your character is taking this elective, that is!! Class will run September 4-13, 2020.

Care of Magical Creatures Lesson 2: IYCOT

• Class will gather outside in our usual location at 07:00
• EAT BREAKFAST BEFORE WE LEAVE
• Bring your camping gear and warm clothes
• Bring your dragonhide gloves and your wand
• Bring an open mind
• Bring your permission slips, unless you already submitted them

Obviously, this is not the second-ever class of the year, and obviously, your charrie will have been lectured, warned, prepared, and handed these permission slips in a previous lesson. So roll with it! Just bring it filled out to the lesson! :shifty:

Since we didn't quite get to finish the field trip RP in CoMC Lesson 2, I've made a thread for us to play out more of the field trip to Tibet. It is, after all, one of those once-in-a-lifetime school trips.

So please, come join us! This is not a requirement and you don't have to have posted in the original class thread to jump into the St. Mungo's RP. Just pretend like your character(s) have been there all along and know what's going on. Also, remember the timeline is Feb. 2-4 2103. And I'll be RPing the Yeti in the thread. ;)
