Everyone had found their way in, and Jackson made his way into a much brighter feeling Great Hall. Funnily enough, it was at this moment that he took a breath of fresh air. He went over to his beloved blues and smiled as he passed familiar faces. “Hi! Welcome Back. Hey, good to see you!” Things like that. Spotting Chloe, he smiled and nodded in her direction but couldn’t get a sentence out. He had been immediately distracted by the little… uhm… “What is that?? Is it yours?” He smiled at it, but also had to wonder what it was doing here, who it belonged to, why it was at their table and not with the other pets… He was wondering plenty of things.

Trying to solve one of the puzzles, Dorian chewed on the end of the pen which he did out of habit whenever he was concentrating but he got distracted by a sudden very small and rather adorable appearance.

The unidentified creature near Kaira made him forget about the crossword puzzle for the moment. He didn't think he had ever seen something like that before and judging by how some of the others were reacting, neither had they. "Should we call the Care of Magical Creatures Professor?" he asked. "Maybe that thing escaped somehow?"

Ah so Caolan was a halfblood. That did made things a lot easier cause he was sure that his father would have told him an important thing or two about their classes. "Alright, if you ever need help then...." he pointed at both Chloe and Jackson "They can" had he expected him to offer help? Ha! No. He knew he was going to be stressing out about the exams by himself so he didn't want the stress from someone else as well. Besides, it was the school leaders jobs to take care of their students right? He didn't want to take away someone elses job. "But im sure you'll be fine" positivity!

Turning around to look at Drew, Dorian nodded his head when he told that he went to the carnival. "Me too" he said and his eyes began to search for a girl he had been with but he couldn't find her at the moment. "I think this Mime thought i was on a date with Viviana" he laughed. "Wait...i wasn't right?" Merlin's Beard what if he had completely misread the situation and he HAD been on a date?!

While he was trying to figure out if he had been on a date or not, Dorian waved automatically at Hanna as she walked past without actually acknowledging her and then shook his head as their House Ghost made an appearance. "Good evening, Lady Helena" he greeted her and he wanted to say something more but the look on Caolan's face had been priceless and he couldn't help but let out a laugh. "Dude, Your face! You look like you've just seen a ghost" laaame he knew that.

Darting its cute little head left and right the little pink coloured mutant curiously looked back at the humans around him as if saying with his eyes "can we be friends?". Looking up at the brown haired girl (Chloe) he tentatively stretched out a pink paw toward her, making small little giggle like noises as if inviting her for cuddles. His little noises were next directed at the boy (Charlie) who was petting him. That felt niiiiice.

The mutant looked back to the badged girl with her hand stretched out. He jumped over to her, settling on her shoulder so he could nuzzle at her neck.

Kaira smiled at the seniors that warmly welcomed her to Ravenclaw (Hanna, Ewan, Dorian, Drewett, Caolan and Chloe).'Thanks..I'm so happy to be here,' she said, sincerely.

Hey, there were fellow first years. She was glad cos everyone seemed to know each other and looked so sure of themselves, and here were people who looked just as intrigued and surprised and slightly clueless as her.

She smiled at her fellow first years (Valencia and Charlie) 'Hey..so good to meet you..I'm Kaira..gee.. we're gonna be dorm-mates,' she said.

It was then that something (MUTANT) landed in front of her, on the table that took her aback, making her gasp a little. But it was so cute, 'Hey little fellow,' she said, eyeing it curiously. It looked something like a pygmy puff and was adorable, oh my gosh! She hoped it wasn't dangerous, so she refrained from petting it.

She also saw the House ghost, Lady Helena glide in to the hall. She smiled at her.

What a relief. Kaira didn’t mention anyone else sitting where Charlie was, so she was free to make friends with those around her (and not have to repeat the dreadfully embarrassing process of putting yourself out there in a very new place.

“Dorm mates, huh? Kinda wild to think about,” Charlie surmised, scrunching her eyebrows. It was a foreign concept to her, as she was an only child and had never shared a room with anyone. She didn’t mind, though. “I bet it’ll be like a sleepover every night... but we will have to get sleep eventually if we wanna do good in our classes.” Geez... classes. She’s always done quite well in school, but after looking at all of her new textbooks, the daunting amount of brand-new material she would encounter made her doubt this — somewhat.

The fluffy creature made the cutest noises in response to her pets, and she couldn’t help but grin in response. Charlie would be sure to pet him again later, but she was getting quite parched and was in the market for a glass of water.

She poured one for herself and took quite the sip (or two). Just as she placed it down and was about to reach out for some rolls, an older boy smiled at her, and she returned it, also giving a sizable wave.

As long as she had Ravenclaw... maybe this wouldn’t be so horrible after all.

Kaira grinned at Charlie excitedly. 'Yeah..I guess..it is gonna be a lot of fun,' she said and she definitely hoped so cos she was really looking forward to starting school. Well, who wasn't ? (Except for a smug looking Slytherin firstie who was sitting on the floor)

'Gee..I used to have sleepovers with Muggle friends nearby a lot..but this is SURE gonna be different, Hogwarts and all..That's what ma, dad and sister said, anyway,' she added, shrugging.

There were many things that went on that caused for Choe to be in the best mood ever.

1. She was a third year
2. She got to hang out with friends on the train
3. She got to meet new people
4. She was a third year
5. She was ready for this year!

So the green-eyed blonde basically skipped to the table with a huge smile on her face. "BLUE AND BRONZE, BLUE AND BRONZE!" They were the best colors ever, right? Last term once she got over her failure of first year and hid in the library the majority of the term something happened. Yes, her confidence came back for magic, her smile and personality returned once the horrible professors had left, and after winning her little league quidditch championship in Germany, she was ready to rock this term.

"Hey everyone!" giving big waves as she found a seat and then gasped. "Choe you're head girl!" This was awesome! She looked gorgeous with a badge, did she know? The blonde felt her cheeks reddening as she heard her own words, Chloe was gorgeous no matter what, but the badge... wow


There was something that caught her eye though and she turned, "OH MY SNITCHES!! What is that? Who owns it, it's so cute! Can I pet it? " Whatever that was she wanted one and she wanted to hug and squeeze it and keep it forever.

This Summer felt especially Short.
Though it was slightly more peaceful since half of it was spent only with his little brother Cairo. Poor Xaria, he looked over toward the Gyrffindor Table. She had been grounded for the whole summer after she lied to Mum and Dad about some beach trip. He didn’t really feel sorry for her. She definitely deserved what she got. He was more concerned now if he wanted to one up her rebellion with one of his own next summer, their parents are now more on a look out for troublesome children, and it was her fault that his chances just dropped.

He only had Oceanus over for the Summer. Mark looked around to see if he could spot his Friend.

And while he wasn’t joining any U17 league (yet) with his Uncle Aegis home now...or well in Ireland Mark got plenty of training for this Terms Quidditch Tryouts. Earning that Keeper position will be a little bit easier this year as opposed to last year.

The mutant looked back to the badged girl with her hand stretched out. He jumped over to her, settling on her shoulder so he could nuzzle at her neck.

Having taken his eyes off the Table as their House Ghost passed him by, Mark didn’t catch the strange creature that had found it’s way to the Ravenclaw table. Or, more that he was too late in noticing it’s arrival. What he did see was the Head Girl…

Oh! Chloe got Head Girl! "Congrats on the Badge, Head Girl Chloe!" he remarked with a genuine smile going from cheek to cheek.

...That she was playing with the creature, and offering it water.
Mark had not seen that kind of creature before it wasn’t in the Textbook, or maybe it was? The illustrations could be out of date, and they just haven’t covered what this little thing was? “Is that your new Pet, Chloe?” Mark asked her as she was tempting it with her water.


Maybe that Weird Older Hufflepuff Guy would like this thing?

Y’know what? This place really wasn’t that bad. Everyone seemed to be acknowledging his presence whether that be a nod or a greeting or actually talking to him. Put a bunch of teenage boys in a room ordinarily and you’d be lucky enough to get a grunt in response but all these people were friendly and welcoming and it put a smile on his face. “Thanks!” he smiled at the girl (Hanna) and the guy (Ewan) who welcomed him to their house. He knew a little about the houses and wasn’t sure where he would belong but this Ravenclaw bunch seemed like a cool group to be associated with.

He then turned to the other guy (Drewett) who was talking to him. The guy sounded nervous so he offered him a big grin. “Thanks dude! I didn’t catch your name..” He couldn’t guarantee he would remember them all but at least he would make the effort to try. And anyway this guy seemed like he needed engaging in conversation and Caolan was totally willing to do that. Nothing sucked more than being nervous or feeling like an outsider.

Heh. Dorian said exactly what Caolan would If he was in the same situation. He was always willing to be helpful and all but if he was going through exams he probably wouldn’t volunteer to tutor someone else as well. Too stressful. He glanced at the students he mentioned taking note of their shiny leadership badges and nodded once. “Noted.” Anyway.. “So does that make us dorm mates?” Because it would be pretty cool to have met someone before he had to spend the night sharing the same space as them. Caolan was a pretty light sleeper and if any of them snored he knew he wouldn’t be getting any sleep that night.

Oh haha. Yes he got the joke. But seriously he HAD seen a ghost which he had clearly never seen before. “Funny that. It’s probably because I have”He tore his eyes away from the ghost lady who everyone was calling Helena and looked back at Dorian. “So ghosts walking around is a totally normal thing here?” Because it wasn’t in the muggle world y’know?

Nettie smiled at her housemates who asked about her summer. "It was fun - got to spend time with my brothers, which was nice," she said with a shrug. Honestly, it had been a pretty low key summer. She'd needed it after last term. Yup, just hanging with the Gladin family and playing Quidditch. It had been more than enough relaxation.

She was about to answer that no, she hadn't gone to the carnival - she hadn't really been interested in it, to be honest. But then she got distracted but a SUPER CUTE AND ADORABLE...THING. What KIND of thing was it exactly? She had NO idea. He was SO CUTE THOUGH! It looked like a cross between a pygmy puff and...a puffskein? No, not that.

Either way, it seemed friendly. "I LOVE HIM!" Nettie squealed out, waving at him as he perched himself on the Head Girl's shoulder. "OOOOH can we keep him as a house pet?! If he doesn't belong to anyone that is," she pointed out. Although it certainly didn't LOOK like anything any student would be carrying around.

Taddy could see something was troubling his friend, it had to be serious since Ewan didn't completely answer it. Maybe because it was pretty crowded and he didn't want others to overhear it? It had to be that, so Tad nodded instead. "It was pretty good, played some Quidditch and went to a couple games to see my Dad play." Excited for his second year. "I guess, now that those..." Well, he could hardly call them teachers. "Well, now that they're gone. This year should be much better." And it better be. "You gonna try out for Quidditch again this year?" That was something he looked forward to.

"Hey again Hanna," Taddy smiled over at her. "Looks like we're safe seeing those meanies from last year are gone." Just thinking about last year gave him shivers. Shivers from remembering to run out in the cold in his pjs.

Oh look, it was the older Chloe. Chloe K. Taddy waved at her, she had quite an entourage, and well deserved. "Whoa! Head girl, congrats!" Maybe she'll give him an autograph? He blinked though at the sight of the tiny creature. What was that thing? He looked curiously at it. He didn't have a camera to take a picture sadly. Everyone wanted to pet it, but.. hmm.. Daddy always said to be wary on creatures you've never seen before. But it did seem safe and pretty cute.

Ooh and there was the Chloe he knew the longest, "Hey Chloe!" He brightened. It was great seeing her again. "You ready for Quidditch again?" He had an eye for a certain position again.

Chloe was completely distracted by the adorable little pink creature on the table in front of her, and it made it hard for her to greet those approaching the table for a closer look and asking questions and being friendly and and and... She went very still as the creature climbed her buddy and settled against her neck for a cozy cuddle, and then her hand immediately went to support the creature so it didn't fall.

Oh, wow. Look at all the everybodies here now. "Oh, no... it isn't my pet. It just wandered up just now. I think we can come up with a name for it amongst us, but we'll have to tell... someone... about it." Which was a shame. After how things went last term, Chloe wasn't sure she trusted the professors to do the right thing by the creatures at Hogwarts. If they told someone about this baby thing, would it just get drop kicked to the forest? "I'm not permitted to bring an unauthorized creature into the common room. I'm sure none of you would sneak it in, although if you hid it in your shirt or robes, there is no possible way I would know, and if I found it there already, I would be forced to let it live there as a native creature."

Hopefully someone was smart enough to read between those lines. "Tina? It's very nice to meet you. Do you want to pet our new friend here? It seems super friendly." She flashed a smile at her co-house leader as Jackson took a seat, but he was busy with his own business. But tiny Chloe one! She was here, and Chloe1 preened as she showed the younger girl her badge. "Come sit with me and we'll discuss what we think about everyone else at the table." Unlikely, but fun to consider.

"Anyone can pet the creature, honestly, just don't rush it and if it gets agitated, give it plenty of space."

Malachi nervously makes his way over to the blue table he saw other reavenclaws go to. He takes a deep breath and sits near the end, honest just wanting to pull out the potions book he had been reading earlier in the day but couldn’t since his trunk wasn’t with him at the moment, instead he opts out to just sit and look around in slight wonder.

And here it was, the Ravenclaw table.

Jade skidded to a halt when she reached her new House table and beamed around at the people already there. Most of them were older, returning students, but she could tell that there were also a few newly Sorted ones like herself. She recognised the Grey Lady, whom she knew was the House Ghost. Also... what WAS that pink thing? The House pet? It was... weird-looking, but cute nonetheless. Anyways, self-introduction time.

"Hi! I'm Jade. I'm a new Ravenclaw!" The eleven-year-old declared, then proceeded to sit down at an empty place.

There was Malachi! She had met him back when they were shopping at the Diagon Alley.
'Hey..,' she said and waved from the other end of the table, grinning.

Kaira beamed as another firstie girl took a seat near her. 'Hi Jade.. I'm Kaira..,' she said.

“aha, sounds like a pretty good summer Taddy, I mean going to see your Dad play Quidditch must be pretty cool!” With a smile that was slightly forced, Ewan jumped onto the subject of Quidditch “Yes mate! I mean I managed to make it to the reserves last year so hopefully I’ll make it to the team this year” a genuine smile across his face now. “I mean, someone’s gotta whack those bludgers don’t they?”. He hadn’t exactly had time to practice this summer but the fact he’d continue to fill out over the summer and get even taller would hopefully make him better than the competition. “Besides, there won’t be any teachers trying to run us to death every morning or giving us detention for stupid things” he finished, rolling his eyes at the memories of last year.

How had he missed it? (Mutant) It was pink and fluffy and well, rather cute. There was no getting around it. A small smile as his mind went into overdrive trying to work out what the little fluff ball actually was. Ewan watched as his fellow Ravenclaws bounded over to it, one of his eyebrows raised now. They may not know it, but not all creatures are friendly despite being cute and cuddly. Giving his head a little shake as it jumped onto someone’s shoulders, he turned away.

“You’ll love Ravenclaw Kaira” he continued now to the first year, an encouraging smile across his face. “You know, we won the house cup last year? Hopefully we’ll do the same again this year with your help”.

Ewan watched with a small smile as his fellow third year friend skipped up to the table. “Hey Chloe, how was your summer?” Ewan couldn’t help but notice her new found confidence and grin. “You ready for Quidditch this year McCarthy? Because I wanna win!” Hopefully he’d finally make the team and not just the reserves and help them win this year.

“Heeeeyyyy? I’m Ewan” giving a small wave at the first year who was staring into space (Malachi). “Welcome to Ravenclaw by the way, I’m sure you’ll love it”.

That was it. Ewan had a new mission. To welcome ever new Ravenclaw student to the house. “Hey Jade, I’m Ewan” He remembered how nervous he was when he first came here. So much had happened since but still, Ravenclaw was his home and now it was hers too. “I’m sure you’ll love it here. We’re the best” giving her a small wink after that last statement.

Nuzzling against the badged girl's neck felt niiiice, even more so when she raised her hand to support his little weight which made him look up at her with his eyes as if saying Moree please? The little mutant was happy, he simply LOVED nuzzling cuddles. He was a little displeased that the other girl (Charlie) had stopped petting him. Couldn’t she tell he adored pets, so why did she stop?

When the two girl's (Nettie & Chloe) started to squeal loudly about him the little mutant got excited by all their attention and made excited giggle like noises in their directions. Next moment though he got distracted by the commotion over by the green table and just up and dissapeared.

A date? With Viviana? Drewett didn't personally know the girl, but he can definitely remember the girl's face from the carnival. He had seen her around Hogwarts, but the memory made the fourth year chuckle. He did remember that day. Poor Dorian. "Would you c-consider it a date?" That would be the real question. It is what one makes of it, after all.

The enthusiastic first years were rather precious, Drewett noted, but their energy was overwhelming him. He wanted to congratulate each and every one of them. He really did. It just wasn't in his nature to be the outgoing type, unfortunately. He smiled at Kaira, hoping she'd get the hint that he was happy, in a way, that she was here too. And that little wave from the other firstie (Charlie) elicited another chuckle for the fourth year. Little balls of energy, indeed. Unlike them, Drewett could remember how awkward he was back then. Well done, survival of the fittest.

Drewett also forgot to mention his name and he sheepishly ruffled his hair when the other Ravenclaw told him. "Sorry..." he said to Caolan, a crooked smile on his face. "I'm Drewett... or just... Drew." He used to prefer being called by his nickname, but he'd grown fairly okay with his complete name now. With more and more firsties joining (Malachi and Jade), he continued to offer a smile to each of them.

He, however, could not take his eyes off the furry thing on their table. He wasn't going to pet it, not until he was sure that it was ranked XX and below. Once that thing hopped away, Drewett only then realized that he was holding his breath. He let out a deep breath before turning to face the Head Girl. "Ex-excuse me... what creature was th-that?" He was curious.

Benji had been over at the Hufflepuff table checking in with Penny, but he could sense that things were going to begin soon. He made his way back over to his own table, taking in the sight of the new first-years and... pink thing? What... was that? A bunch of people seemed to be fawning over it. Benji felt a little more cautious. It was cute, but that probably meant it was hiding something... Right?!

No matter. He'd observe from afar. He took a seat nearby Jackson and Drewett, saying a quick, "Hey," to them both. He smiled at a few other familiar faces, offering a wave here and there.

...But seriously, what was that pink thing?! He couldn't help but lean in a little closer to see. But not close enough to touch it!! No way. But it looked so soft and cuddly... But NO! It was probably evil! It had to be. Right? But it was so cuuuuuute! And then it was... Gone? Huh.

Malachi looks up at the greetings given to him and smiles slightly at seeing Kaira and the boy who introduced himself as Ewan. He nods his head to Kaira before turning to the other Ravenclaws that had greeted him. "Um hi. I’m Malachi (pernounced mal-soft a-kai) thanks for welcoming me, I hope we can get along?" At the end of his sentence he tilts his head just in time to see a pink creature zoom by.

"Sure!" Valencia said as a girl asked to sit down next to her. "I'm Valencia." she said holding her hand out to Charlie. "Pleasure to meet you." She then pivoted to hold her hand out toward the other girl. "Nice to meet you too, Kaira G." She didn't notice that that was not part of the girl's name.

She looked around again to see if she could identify the strange animal, but it was no longer there. That was a shame.

“Master Potter. Good evening.’’ What a welcoming sight these Ravenclaws were. Lady Helena adored them all even the ones that were staring at her (Wilson). “I take it you are not used to seeing ghosts?’’ Helena was used to being stared at by new students. “Septimus. I’m pleased to hear. Did you do anything special?’’ Just quite then, her name was being called. “Hanna! My, you seem to have gotten taller. As for my summer it was quite boring. You weren’t there to talk to.’’

There were so many Ravenclaws to get to know. Helena was eager to do so. “Welcome, Tina. I am the Ghost of Ravenlaw. You may call me Lady Helena or The Grey Lady. Mr Slinkard. It’s good to see you again. The same goes for you, Dorian and Mark.’’

Chloe’s spirit. Helena loved that. “Keep that spirit up, Chloe.’’

What was that? Helena’s transparent gaze flickered to the strange creature that made giggling sounds. “Ravenclaws? Does this thing belong to any of you?’’ Helena had not seen it before. Ever. She wasn’t wooed on the cuteness of it as much as the students were. The Head Girl seemed to be taking charge at the moment. Helena approved even if the creature up and moved to the Slytherin table.

Kaira laughed. 'Haha..not Kaira G... the geee was an expression...,' she said. 'Also..back in my ma's place..'ji' is added to someone's name in respect for someone..I guess I should be glad,' she teased, good-naturedly.

Kaira answered for the rest of the Ravenclaws when she said 'No, Lady Helena..I think not..but it is sooo cute,' she said, still refraining from touching it cos she feared that it could maaaay be hiding something dangerous. Given the past history of Hogwarts, it certainly seemed so, anyway.

Looking around, Jade realised that she had taken a seat right next to a group of fellow first years. Oh, nice! These were the people she would be spending the most time with over the next few years, so she might as well get to know them a little. "Hi, Kaira! Hi, Malachi! Hi, Valencia! Sorry, what's your name? I'm Jade, I'm a first year as well and I'm SO excited to be here!" She said to each of them, somehow catching their names, then directed the question at the last girl (Charlie), whose name she did not manage to learn.

The new Ravenclaw turned as she heard somebody else address her directly. Awww, how sweet! "Thanks, Ewan. I have no doubt that I'll love it here! Which year are you in this term?" She asked. ... Was that a WINK? Jade could not help but blush slightly. Ahhh!!

Smiles and waves went around to the other students whom she made eye contact with. Everybody seemed so friendly here, she got the feeling that she would fit right in. She noticed from the corner of her eye the pink creature scurrying off to the green Slytherin table. The girl eyed it suspiciously for a while, then diverted her attention back to the people around her and soon forgot all about the curious creature.

As others arrived, Hanna waved and greeted them. The first years all got a continued "Welcome to Ravenclaw! I'm Hanna," from her. Valencia, Charlie, Malachi, Jade, and the older students who she understood were transfers; Tina.

"Are you the first of your family at Hogwarts? I-I mean... out of your siblings." If she had any, Hanna asked Kaira. She was the first of her siblings. She smiled back at Caolan, too. She didn't want to mention to any of the newer students that it was a good thing they didn't start last year. And if she did say that... well, surely it would be a jinx.

"Hi Chloe," Hanna greeted her fellow-Quidditch player. "Did you have a fun holiday?"

She beamed at Lady Helena. "Thank you for noticing! I had to get new robes." Ankles showing from her robes wasn't a look she was going for.
