 Down the long corridor to the right of the Common Room are the girl's dorms. Torches hanging on the walls light the way, letting you find your way down the dim corridor. We wouldn’t want you to trip!
There is a dorm for each of year of the house. Students, you will find many four-poster beds all draped with green silk hangings and the coverlets to be in green with large snake motifs on them. Silver lanterns hang from the ceiling and the walls of the dorms are decorated with Slytherin crests. If you lie awake at night it's possible to hear the lake water lapping against the windows.
No boys allowed!!

Hopefully you listened to Headmaster Scrimgeour's words during the feast and took the phrase 'make sure you get plenty of rest for your first day of classes' to heart. Bright and early, before the sun was even up, a blaring noise fills the entire castle. It is so loud that it is sure to wake any heavy sleeper. "EVERYONE IS TO REPORT TO THE QUIDDITCH PITCH FOR THE DAILY S.O.R.E. — SPECIAL OBLIGATORY RUNNING EXERCISES — IN TWENTY MINUTES," booms a gruffy voice. "THOSE WHO DO NOT SHOW UP WILL FACE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES."
The sound and the message continue on repeat, only the amount of time decreases with each minute that passes by. Hurry up, throw on some running clothes, and get down to the Quidditch Pitch!

merlin’s crusty…something or other – she was beyond annoyed. WHY was that unfortunate voice blaring in her eardrums like a caterwauling charm had been used to make it resonate through the walls. How was coleslaw doing? she thought nervously before considering sending Skylar an owl…but – what if the cold one confiscated the owls?...hmmm, she’d have to find a way around that.
Maybe she could tell Quinn on her mirror – if that hadn’t been confiscated too? It wasn’t like she used it for BAD things only really to talk to her mum, and Quinn and maybe possibly to get messages out beyond the battle front.
Because this was a war right? Another war for Hogwarts?...how had Potter’s crew won again? She’d have to figure that out and devise a plan…right, plans she had to bug Spenley about this. Maybe he’d be interested in being a resistance fighter too.
Still for now, she was going to the pitch. Not for S.O.R.E – no, she was going because she had planned to start her day with a run. "girls...um, if you want to resist this i'm for it y'know - because you know being to run at this abhorrent hour isn't something i want to do every day."

Bettie sat her bed in the first year dorm taking in the decor, the view out the window and enjoying the sound of the lake water lapping against the windows. She also noticed that there was only one other trunk in the dorm. That would mean that there is only two people the the dorm. Bettie does hope to meet here roommate soon and that they get along.

The blaring noise was followed by a mousy squeak and a fumbled thump to the floor.
SQUEAK!
THUMP!
A bundle next to the bed wriggled and wriggled and squeaked, and out from the duvet sprouted a pixie-haired head. The small Slytherin breathed, frantic hazel zoning in around her surroundings. When her brain registered the somewhat familiar voice, she narrowed her eyes.
Why?
WHYYYYYYYY?
This was a brutal manner to wake people up! What if the noise had frightened her heart so terribly it stopped it?! What if she had a concussion from the fall?!
She groaned. She wasn't that lucky. She should be used to loud noises in the morning. It just wasn't expected. Not here. Not of all places that weren't home.
With a sigh and a roll of her eyes, the small pixie girl untangled herself from the covers and proceeded to head out. If they were going to wake her up this early, in this BRUTAL manner, they were going to have to accept to see her in her black, banana patterned pajama pants and her green and purple dragon long sleeve top.
But first.
She had to brush her teeth.
