The Spirit Room The door to a mysterious door on the fifth floor swings open to reveal a dank and dusty room which has clearly been vacant for years. White sheets cover the furniture, cobwebs fill every nook, cranny, corner, and everything in between, including a cup filled with wooden potion stirrers. The heavy scent of mildew permeates every aspect of the room. For some reason, all you can do is stand and stare inside. |
for Twin!! Echo was walking down the hallway when she saw a door that she hasn't seen before. "hmm that's strange, why haven't I seen this before" she thought while stopping and reaching her hand out to the door. Opening it slowly she heard the creaky sounds of the old handle turning. pop the door swung open and all she got was a cloud of dust that instantly started to make her cough. "great!!" she spat out.. while moving her hand infront of her face to try to disperse the particles. |

What had happened??? It took a moment for her to realize that the door to the Spirit Room had been opened. She had forgotten about that place because she had never stepped inside, only heard about it from other students. Seeing the ghosts around the other areas of the school was enough for her. Raising her wand, she tried to help get rid of the dust, but it was hard to when she kept coughing. |

The dust started to fade away and she could see that it was a girl. "hey, sorry" she said while ignoring her urge to look into the open door to see what was on the other side. "i didn't know that this door even opened?" she said not really noticing that the other girl had her wand out. |

Looked like this place hadn't been opened in a very long time. Either that, or the ghosts liked it really dusty. Hey, she wasn't going to judge when it came to their area of the castle. At least she could see now. That was much better. Looked like her wand wasn't needed after all, so Esme put it away again. "Hey, no worries. I had forgotten where the Spirit Room was located." Esme made a face and wiped some of the dust off of herself. "I'm Esme." she gave a small smile. |

Peaking in she saw that everything was covered in cloths. "that's just sad, they don't even get to see the furniture? like they could have added a bit more color to make things more nice for them you know?" "oh hi Esme, im Echo. " she had a nice name, and for some reason she wasn't all snappy like she normally was with everyone else she had met. |

"I wonder if they would mind if we added colour to the room." Esme had no idea and she wasn't sure if that would cause them to get into a lot of trouble. She knew now important the ghosts were and how much trouble you could get into if you were seen as being disrespectful to them. Echo. That was an interesting name. Esme liked it. "I really like your name!" Thinking about it, she had seen this girl in classes before. They weren't in the same year, but were close enough. |

Trying to make her way in the room she was stopped by an invisible wall. "hey, what was that" she rubbed the end of her nose. "that kind of hurt" she laughed while she still had tears in her eyes. "i wonder why they wont let us in, I guess we cant decorate for them" "thanks we both have amazing names" she said while still looking in there. "hello?? any ghosts?" she said looking deeper into the room. yup it was in need of some color that's for sure. |

Ouch. That had to hurt a little. "Are you all right?" Esme winced. That had to hurt a bit, but she seemed to be all right fortunately. The soreness would pass in a moment or so and the Healer wouldn't be needed. "Maybe they heard that we want to redecorate," she speculated. No, it had to be something else... "I guess they don't want the living to bother them." She could understand that since it would be nice for them to have a place for them and them alone. She smiled in agreement at the fact that they both have awesome names. Yep, that was true! She wanted to help call for the ghosts. Carefully she avoided hitting the barrier. "Friar? Are you there?" |
Quote:
"im fine, thanks for asking though... i'll just stop touching my face so I can let the redness go away... wait... is there any redness?" she asked while moving her face around for Esme to see it better. "hey im a pretty good decorator I think, maybe if we ask a professor to let us go in and decorate it can be a surprise for them?" ohhh fashion time with pretty much a blank slate. "i still do wonder where they all are" where are they??? |

At least Echo was being friendly and not all annoyed like some people would be. "I'm glad that you are all right." It wouldn't be nice if someone was in pain. She looked at Echo's face carefully. "There is a little bit, but it seems to be fading." Nothing to worry about! It would be gone in no time. Then they could decorate! "That's a good idea! Maybe we could ask the Transfiguration Professor since we're near the classroom!" Well...nearish. The Sixth Floor wasn't far away. "Maybe the ghosts are in another dimension or something. They will be thrilled with their surprise!" Hopefully. |
