Kitty's excitement vanished as soon as the Professor said that the spell wasn't permanent. She sagged in her seat gloomily and ordered the worms to get off her. They uncurled and crawled back into the table, looking rather forlorn and lonely.

But then Haddie asked if there was anyway to make the spell permanent - and Kitty felt hopeful once more. She looked at Professor Ichihara eagerly and waited for her answer, literally sitting at the edge of her seat.

Ariadne was caught in a bittersweet moment. On one hand, she ECSTATIC that they were going to be able to keep their clay creatures! On the other hand, though, she hadn't realized it wouldn't stay animated forever. She had to admit that she was really, really disappointed. The only silver lining was that she DID have a few hours or maybe a day before the magic wore off. Could it be RE-animated? She didn't know, but that was something she could ask later.

Ariadne cleaned up the area she'd been working in then packed up all her belongings. Turning toward the little clay owl she'd created, she smiled at it, happy to have it around for at least a little while. "Want a ride?" she asked, holding out the palm of her hand. "Hop on!" The owl didn't hesitate at all. It bounced into her palm and stayed there as she headed for the door. "Bye, Professor! Thanks for a great lesson!" she called.

It’s either he didn’t listen enough to the professor, or the teacher completely missed his question. Either of which, Jace didn’t mind knowing that time is very important for everyone, and that she just didn’t have enough seconds to explain more things to him thoroughly. The Ravenclaw packed all of his things neatly inside his bag, perched his insentient familiar on his shoulder, and made his way toward the professor.

Ichihara got a very warm smile from the half-Japanese, quite pleased with her lesson today. She involved Japanese culture into their lesson, which was enough for him to smile all day. The morning’s been great so far, and he was positive that the good energy will last until the school day’s over. Arigatou gozaimasu for the lesson, Ichihara-sensei.” Jace gave her a deep and respectful bow as he bid her farewell. “I learned a lot.” He said as he stood back up, beaming happily at her. “See you again tomorrow, sensei.” And with that, Jace turned and headed for the door. He didn’t want to be late for his Defense Meeting with Professor Hirsch.
