Playpen Walkway http://i1026.photobucket.com/albums/...ps897fcd98.png

Anyone May Claim :3 With her hands in the large pocket of her oversized hoodie Hady made her way along the walkway towards the playpen area. She had been here many times over the previous last two terms but this was her first visit this year. Wandering towards the end of the walkway she came to a stop stepping up against the fencing and resting her arms on the top post as she looked out into the pasture. It seemed to be the prefect day. The sky was clear and there was a small breeze blowing her hair gently about her face making her tuck it back behind her ear every so often. Standing there silently she scanned her sight over the Hippogriffs and Winged horses with a tiny barely there smile. Maybe she'd just spend the day here today watching them. They didn't seem to mind at all. Dropping her bag onto the ground beside her feet she decided to hold off on feeding the creatures for now as they appeared content with whatever they were doing. |

Hair flip. The Slytherin had made up her mind she would spend a lot more time with animals that term, then, since she seemed to do well in the subject. Of course, she wouldn't hang out with just any animal out there - some of them were gross and not worth her attention. However, professor Thompson did have some awesome winged-horses and those were Agatha's all-time favourites. When she got near the area, she noticed a younger girl sitting on the floor. She had seen her before both in classes and the Slytherin common room, but the sixth year didn't think they had properly met. So after giving the girl a sort of acknowledgement look, she stood one or two metres away from the kid and turned to also watch the winged beauties. |
SPOILER!!: Agatha From where she had been leaning against the railing to the fence with her gaze pretty much set on the hippogriffs and winged horses on the other side she only caught a glimpse of the older girl. At first Hady considered not saying a word but then she took a better look and saw it was one of her fellow housemates. Not really knowing the other girl well she choose to settle for a simple "Hello" as she looked over at her along with a tiny smile. See should could be social if she choose to. If it had been anyone else she just might not have said anything and came off as rude. Not that she really was fussed by it either way. |

"Hello." The sixth year replied, turning to look at her housemate. The fact she had seen the girl before didn't mean she knew much about her, although her first impression was already really good. "I didn't know you liked winged-horses. You have good taste." She announced, nodding her head solemnly before tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear as she looked back at the creatures. "Professor Thompson looks after them really well." |
SPOILER!!: Agatha Hady's attention was caught between watching the winged-horses and speaking to the older Slytherin girl. She knew her manners meant looking at someone when they spoke to you but sometimes when you were so caught up in other things that was hard. However the third year did her best with it when she could her eyes sweeping to her right once more when she heard the girl reply to her and then continue speaking. Agatha's comment made her grin a little and she nodded her head slowly in reply. "Thanks, so do you. There's a lot of things most people don't know about me but yes I do like them quite a bit." This was said with a small smile showing she agreed with the older girl about them being well cared for. "Yeah I agree. It can't be easy caring for as many creatures as he does but he does it well. I come out here when I can just to see them it's usually quiet here so that's a nice change from the noise inside the castle." Surely Agatha could understand what she meant. Sometimes one just needed a break from everything in life to enjoy the simple things such as watching winged-horses. |
Emmy. ^^ Spending time with Professor Thompson's creatures always made Lux happy, so she decided to pay them a visit. She hadn't been here since last term, and maybe they missed her company! Smiling, the redhead made her way down the walkway while humming a tune to herself. Of course it was from her favourite movie because she just loved it. Today was such a nice autumn day and the air smelled nice and fresh. Even though this wasn't her favourite season, she still thought it was beautiful. Hearing the familiar squawking sounds of the Hippogriffs, she smiled wider. She could see them and the winged horses, and hoped that they would come over to say hello. |

The younger girl had a point. It was probably very complicated to take care of so many different creatures, and Agatha respected professor Thompson for that. She wonder if she would ever have the capability to do that. ...If not, she would just stick wth the winged-horses, thank you. Once again, the ballerina nodded at her fellow housemate's words. "It is more peaceful here, and honestly, animals can be better companies than people." She said truthfully. Morgana only knew how awful people could be. Animals could be bad, too, but there were easier to ignore, Agatha supposed. "I'm Agatha Hapgood, by the way." She guessed it was time for an official introduction. |

Walking around the castle was starting to get really boring. She didn’t know what she wanted to do right now really. Looking around at the other students she wanted to take her mind off of family stuff but she really didn’t know what to do or who she wanted to talk to. The sixth year also had a letter in her hand from her Aunt Willa. She really didn't have a problem calling her that even though she knew Willa before she had ever dated her Uncle Jaxson but she was happy that they had found each other because they seem really happy together and they really must be after this letter she had sent Emmy. |
Quote:
Feeling someone tap her shoulder, Lux was surprised that it was Emmy. Even though they were more civil than before - which wasn't at all really - they didn't really TALK. Was this about the Aparecium article??? Because everyone had to know that was total rubbish. Her and Kace??? EWWWWWWWW, so gross. She already had the boy she wanted, and Kace obviously had Emmy. He wasn't even a flirt like the gossip said. But Emmy didn't want to fight, so maybe it was about something else. She had to know that the Aparecium was wrong because it was obvious that she didn't love Kace in that way. She loved her boyfriend. Not sure if she should mention it, Lux gave a small smile. "Hey. So how have things been?" |
Quote:
"Things have been alright. You?" She sighed. "As alright as things really could be right now." Right now. She knew that Lux didn't know what she was talking about but very few people did at this point. Emmy really didn't know where to start. Well she did because of Aunt Willa's letter but she didn't because she just didn't. That totally makes sense, how? The sixteen year old sighed. "It's not about that stupid article either." She shook her head. "It's about this letter I got from your sister." Emmylou held out the letter for Lux to read. Willa was really nice in the letter but Emmy wasn't NOT going to listen to her. "Your sister wants us to make amends." The sixth year shrugged. She could handle making amends with Lux but trusting she wasn't too sure about that. |
Quote:
Lux was happy to hear there was no trouble in regards to the article. "I had a feeeling you wouldn't believe it. That paper comes up with the worst nonsense." At least her and Emmy wouldn't fight over it because that would have been awful. Honestly she was a little surprised when she heard about the letter from Willa. Lux knew that her sister had a heart of course, but she never expected it. Curiously she read it over. "Well, we can do whatever you want to." It was Emmy's choice and Lux would be fine with whatever decision she made. She missed being friends, but she knew that there was no need to push anything - didn't WANT to push anything. |
SPOILER!!: Agatha Hady gave a firm nod of her head. She did know better...most of the time anyway. Sometimes she jumped at things without giving the situation enough thought especially back at home but here at the castle she'd grown a bit more cautious. And there were things she wouldn't just tell anyone of course. "Probably if it was given the proper attention, training and care." All that was important if you wanted the trust of an animal namely a Hippogriff or Winged-Horse. With her eyes fixed on the creatures on the other side of the fence she was quiet for a few moments just observing them. When the older Slytherin spoke again however Hady turned to look at her. "That's quite true but some people aren't so bad either." Really it could go either way for her depending on her mood. Sometimes you just needed the comfort of a pet or familiar creature and others you needed a friend that could talk back. At her housemate's introduction of herself the young snakette smiled a little. "Nice to officially meet you Agatha, I'm Hady Lynch." Just Hady cause Hadleigh wasn't necessary, was it? |
Sorry this is so late. Quote:
Freaking out in charms, no big deal, right? Emmylou wasn't in that lesson because she didn't feel good that day. It must have been something that she had eaten the night before. She knew that it wasn't any candy or anything. Emmylou nodded at her as she spoke about the paper. It was stupid and people were even dumber just thinking that Emmylou, herself would allow for nonsense to happen right under her nose. No she wouldn't. Just because Emmy came off as nice didn't mean that she couldn't kick someones butt and tell them to go away. People just expected that kind of stuff from Cinna. Emmy was silent but deadly if people cross her the wrong way. "I'm sure you already knew that she was pregnant." Being the little sister and all. She was sure that her grandmother knew about it already too. Emmylou would have to send her an owl. "I really don't care what I do." But since Lux was going to be in this family for forever then why keep fighting. |
Quote:
'Some people aren't so bad either.' Hmm... "I guess." The sixth year agreed half-heartedly as she looked back to the winged-horses. Some people. Only some. Very few. "Nice to officially meet you too, Hady." And Agatha actually meant it, hoping the girl would be one of these very few people. |
Quote:
The conversation turned to Willa being pregnant, and that was much better. Lux was going to be an aunt, and she was so happy for her sister and Jaxson. Too bad she'd probably be in school when the baby was born, but maybe that wouldn't be the case. "She told me soon after she found out. And I also found out about the wedding shortly after it happened. She showed me pictures." Emmy had probably seen them as well seeing that Jaxson was her uncle. That made Willa Emmy's aunt, she supposed. That was a bit odd, though of course she didn't really have a problem with it. As Emmy said she really didn't care what she did, Lux simply nodded. She didn't really know what to say to that. At least she had established that she was leaving it in the other girl's hand. Maybe they weren't going to be friends, but that didn't mean they couldn't be civil and get along. She and Emmy were now related through marriage. |
Quote:
Emmylou wasn't surprised that Willa was going to tell Lux first. Why wouldn't she tell her? "I expected her to tell you and your guy's side of the family before any of the nieces or cousins on Uncle Jaxson's side of the family." Emmylou gave her a small smile. "I'm guessing the parents are the first one's that should know about it." Thinking about that she wondered how her parents did that before she was born. They must have been so angry at her mother and father. They were still in school at Hogwarts. The sixth year sighed a bit. "I know that you and I aren't on the best of term but I don't hate your sister." Or really anyone else, Emmy was pretty she she didn't fully hate Lux either, she was just more annoyed with Lux's actions than anything. |
Quote:
It was also nice to know that Emmy didn't hate her sister, though Lux knew that they were fond of each other. "Willa is great like that." Honestly she didn't really know about what had happened last Christmas, but she had a feeling that it involved Emmy's mother. Lux wished that woman would just leave Emmy alone because she was totally bad news and a horrible person. Lux wasn't really sure if she should say something else. Honestly she was a little surprised that she had been told that much. Oh well. Here goes nothing. "I'd stand up for you too, you know." Even if things weren't like they used to be, Emmy didn't deserve the crap she got from her mom and they were family now. She wouldn't let her mother say mean things to her either. |
SPOILER!!: Agatha Hady was watching the wing-horses move about in their fenced in area. "Well yes but having a connect with them wouldn't hurt anything either." A bond between a person and animal could be a very strong one and that was always what she looked for with her pets her other creatures. If there wasn't some sort of connection between the two bad things could happen. "That's good then." There were a few people Hady didn't mind being around at all but others...well she'd rather be alone on her own then with certain people. Sometimes all the drama people brought with them just wasn't worth her time or effort. It was just to complicated to always please everyone, however she knew when she should. "It's nice meeting you too." Mhmm that was the truth as Agatha seemed to be nice and so far they had the winged-horses in common. |
Quote:
"My mother didn't really know what to do when Willa spoke her mind to her." Emmylou knew that people were there for it but it felt like no one could keep her own mother in line at all. The sixth year still couldn't believe that she had even said all of that out loud and to Lux. There was a very tiny part of her that could trust Lux but not with something like that. "I feel like if people met my mother that they would stand up for me too." If it the tables were turned and someone else had her mother she would stand up for them but she wasn't able to stand up for herself. |
Quote:
A winged horse was finally making its way over, so Lux reached her hand out to pet it, cooing softly. She loved Professor Thompson's animals even if she never wanted to fly on one of his horses. They were all so beautiful. "So how is the term going for you so far?" It was rather uneventful besides the Aparecium entries and that was a nice change. |
Quote:
The sixth year gave the younger girl a quick smile before looking back to the winged-horses. It was nice to find out the younger kids from her house were better than some people her age she knew. There was hope, after all. |
SPOILER!!: Agatha Probably not if you knew what you were doing. Quiet and treats never seemed to hurt when trying to befriend any animal. "Not really if you're calm and gentle." Most creatures didn't like hyperness and such. Oh she had plans to own one?! "That sounds cool. Do you have a large area to house one?" she asked glancing over to the older girl. They needed a lot of room, didn't they? The smile as quick as it was hadn't been missed and Hady returned it with a small one of her own. Agatha was being nice to her so there was no reason not to be nice back. "Is there anything other then winged-horses that you're interested in?" |
Quote:
Whatever. And then she asked THE question. Agatha flipped her hair with pride before turning to face Hady once again. "Yes, I'm a ballerina. I have done ballet for 11 years now and I'm excellent at it. I'll be a prima ballerina when I leave Hogwarts." Yep, she was determined. "Do you like ballet?" |
SPOILER!!: Agatha Hady had turned her attention back to the winged horses watching them graze upon the grass. Others might have gotten bored with this already but not her. It appeared Agatha wasn't bored either. "That's really good I'm sure it'll enjoy all the space." Yep she knew if she was a horse she'd enjoy having room to run and such. Oh! She hadn't been expecting that but instantly her interest was peaked and she turned sideways where she sat to look up at the older snakette. "So you started really young then?" Well duh Hady she had just said eleven years so of course she was little when she began. Taking a breath then releasing it slowly Hady choose to be truthful here...well sorta. "I used to. When I was younger." There she hadn't lied about doing ballet at all but she hadn't continued on with it either. |
