The Mirror
|
Sarah/Cinna. :3 Honestly Lux wasn't sure how she had ended up here other than she had been exploring and the mirror had caught her eye. The last time she had really paid attention to it was way back in her Second Year when she had a conversation with Addy here. She missed Addy and wondered how her old friend was doing. Maybe she would write to her soon to ask how life was treating her and see about getting together over the Christmas break or seeing each other in Hogsmeade. Curiously she looked into the glass, seeing the beautiful reflection that wasn't the hallway. Her hair was looking really nice today, so she ran her hands through it. This was one of the days where she felt really pretty; sadly that didn't happen all too often. How could she ever compare to someone like Justine in looks? |
Hady wandered the halls silently her head low so her gaze was set on the floor just a few paces in front of her. It probably wasn't the best idea to not be paying attention but clearly her mind was elsewhere as she fingered the chain around her neck. The small brunette used her free hand to push some stray strands of her hair behind her ear before letting it drop to her side. She didn't know where she was until she almost ran into the girl standing there looking into the mirror. Luckily Hady had seen the girls feet before hand stopping in time her head snapping up in surprise. "Oh! Hi Lux...I didn't know anyone else was here..." She frowned slightly glancing around a moment just realizing where she was. Studying the mirror for a moment she pulled a thoughtful look. "Why do you reckon the image inside the mirror is different then where we really are?" She glanced back to the older girl. |
Abby dropped by the mirror having been here briefly last year and she hoped that she would spend more time by here she did like it and she wasnt paying attention when she bumped into a younger slytherin girl and said "Sorry i was not paying attention to where i was going" |
Once more Hady stumbled forward almost falling over the girl in front of her (Lux). Only this time it wasn't her own doing as someone had banged into her from behind. "Sorry...." She mumbled softly to Lux unsure if she'd bumped into her or not before she turned around to see who hit her. Hady gave a small smile to show she was alright and that she wasn't angry at the girl whom she had seen around but didn't really know. "It's alright, I wasn't exactly paying much attention myself before..." Meaning when she nearly ran into Lux moments earlier. |

With a slight grin the brunette nodded her head wrinkling her nose in frustration when her hair fell in her face. Hastily brushing it back and trying to tuck it in place behind her ears she mumbled under her breath 'I need to start keeping a hair clip in my pocket...'. "I've seen you before as well. I'm Hady." She replied to the older girl looking up at her. "What brings you down this hall to the Mirror?" |

Assessing this answer from the older girl she figured it made sense. There really wasn't anyone else around and it was rather quiet. So yeah she could see why the other girl would come down here to think or read. "Mm that makes sense. Me I just like getting lost sometimes when I think about stuff." Which was true. Getting lost was awesome. |

"I think it's easy to get so into a book that you lose all sense of time and what's happening around you. You become so tired that you don't even realize it until you're waking up." Hady answered laughing quietly. This had been true for her so many times before. The same when watching movies or just talking with a friend real late into the night or early morning. So far she didn't know much more about Abby other then her like for books but she thought this was a good start to a nice friendship. Maybe they'd end up having more in common. |

It was all about skill. Okay so maybe not skill but yeah. She wasn't to worried about her lack of sleep...or food. |

The second year had been punished a few times but it never really lasted all that long. Hady usually had a way of getting herself off early. It was nothing bad or harmful just she knew what to do and say and when to do or say it as well to whom. Laughing she nodded her head. "I couldn't imagine that it would be. I don't think punishments are meant to be pleasant anyway." Nope. Not in the least. They were to teach a lesson general so no fun to be had there. |

Hady laughed. Being not aloud to read as a punishment? That was a bit harsh though her own mum had threatened her with that once before. Luckily for her it didn't happen. "I've been punished for a few days but I can usually get out of it fast enough." |
