Summer was determined to fight for the robe sales this year and make a profit. She did not get the deed to the shop on a whim; she had the skills and the personality to bring in the customers. And sure her prices were slightly higher than what one might pay at Malkin's in Diagon Alley, but this was Gladrags.
Readjusting the sale signs above each of the various racks, Summer went and propped open the door despite the Winter chill. Students would be arriving soon and they surely were in need of some more gloves and scarves and cloaks.
Hugh wanted to look popping. He wanted to have swag, yo. He wanted to look the part of the really awesome person he KNEW he was on the inside, in his head. Just, well, he hadn't been dealt the best hand look-wise for that.
Whatever.
He was here today to revamp his look.
He wanted to look fresh and like a scholar. Because those kinds of people could spot each other OUT from across a room. And he was smart, yo. VERY. Just a little scatter brained.
Like right now. Why was he here again? Oh yes. Shopping.

Summer was styling some flashy dress robes when she heard someone enter the shop. A customer! Finally. The place had been dead and did anyone realize how hard it was to look this good and have no one around to notice? It was so hard.
Noting that it was a young man that had arrived, Summer tossed her hair over her shoulder and made her way over to him. "Hello there. Welcome to Gladrags! Can I help you with anything today?"

Hugh didn't realise someone was talking at him for a moment or two as he was too busy thinking. About things bigger than himself. And so it took most of his energy. Energy he couldn't waste on acknowledging the woman in the shop.
Until he did.
Head tilt. "Yes. You can, actually. I need some new threads." That was swag for clothing, yo. Or maybe not. He wasn't always positive of the slang. But as far as he could tell it didn't matter anyway. Slang was nonsense mostly. And he PWNED it. Yo.
