Professor Morgan loves visitors and she will always have a cup a tea ready for anyone who wishes to seek her attention. So if you need some questions answered, advice, or if you just want to come for a visit she will be happy to see you. First please knock three times just in case the professor is focused on one of her magazines or astrology readings. If you have to wait a minute or two for her to answer don’t worry she has left out the cutest and fluffiest little chairs. They are cute, comfy, and if you bounce a little bit on them it will feel like you are on a small trampoline. No horsing around on them though, Professor Morgan won’t be long and you don’t want to be caught doing anything wrong.

OOC: After posting here I will post and let you know when to move to the office thread. The bouncy chairs are just something fun, but it’s just a little bounce your charrie can’t really get carried away.

Today felt like the perfect day to stop by and say hello to the professors. Emmylou was happy to be back at Hogwarts, mostly because her dad wouldn't let her visit her friends. Emmy couldn't blame him though. She was scared at Hogwarts last term that she would never get back home. The blonde walked into the seating area of her favorite professors office with a bag of sour gummy worms and they were the good kind, the kind where they had to different colors on their bodies but come to think of it the non-sour gummy worms had the two colors on them too.

Emmylou knocked on Professor Morgan's door and took a seat in the best chairs ever. She just had to be careful this time around because she was eating candy and she didn't want to choke on them. The fourth year bounced on the seats lightly when she wasn't eating her candies. Emmylou wondered what the would be doing in Divinations this year. Divinations of course was her favorite class ever. There was something about it that made her feel like there was some way of knowing what would happen in the slight future but Emmylou was into all these kinds of stuff and when she was able to see her mother her mother would say it's a bunch of nonsense and that it was a waste of time and energy. Emmylou didn't know why her mother was so negative about it but she also never understood why her mother spends more time with her theater friends on Broadway than with her and her father and all her other family.

Sitting and reading her quibbler Cassie bounced her foot a bit, well at least until she heard a knock at the door. Looking up she sighed, why must people be so formal and knock. She was certainly thinking about putting sign up about just coming in. Getting up she headed towards the door but stopped, something stopped her and she turned, "Aries get down off that book shelf right now." She sensed him up there and he was going to get hurt.

Grabbing him before opening the door she grinned widely. "Hellllllllo Emmylou. How are you?" It was nice to see her students and she always loved visitors. "Won't you come in? Would you like some tea or hot chocolate?" Holding the door open with her foot as she held one of her cats.

ooc: Go ahead and post in her office now :)

Cutty was about to be dismissive of his unwritten contract to polish up the crystal balls for Professor Morgan. It was just a stupid reprimand afterall. Not a big deal. Or was it? It could've also been a waste of time. Worse yet, a waste of an otherwise perfectly good opportunity. He wasn't about to let that happen!!!

Cuthbert A. A. Mordaunt approached the colourful sculptures which he did not recognize as chairs and looked up toward the door. He applied a light knocking charm and waited to be let in, this thoughts keeping him company whilst he wore a neutral face.

Brushing her kitties, Cassie heard a knock at the door. Getting up from her seat and pushing Gemini off her lap she made her way to the door. Still thinking about making her little sign for students just to come in after knocking. It just seemed so much easier.

Opening the door she grinned, "Mr. Cutty, how are you today?" She didn't need to ask what he was there for she knew. She was very happy that he remembered his little agreement last term, very good.

"I hope you had a lovely summer." As she pulled the door closed. They wouldn't be going into the office, no she had another place they'd be heading. "All the crystal balls are stored in the Room of Serenity." She gave him another smile as she headed that way.

OOC: you can post Cutty at the Room of Serenity :)

Feeling bad that she couldn't get scrying right during class, Sapphire decided to see Professor Cassie and perhaps get advice or some one-on-one practice time - if the professor could spare the time. She may be a Gryffindor, but Sapphire wanted to get high marks in all her classes, including Divination, which she felt wouldn't be one of her best subjects.

She had to try anyway.

Sapphire knocked three times. Seeing the cute, fluffy little chairs, she didn't take time standing at the door to wait for the professor. She hurried to a nice pastel pink chair that reminded her of cotton candy.

Sapphire stole a quick glance around her - to make sure she wouldn't attract much attention - and enjoyed a little bounce. "Where do I get one of these?!" she thought happily.

SOOO Eden had SAID she would come visit Professor Morgan--so here she was! To discuss...crystal balls. She eyed the biiiiig puffy chairs. Wow. Could one even SIT in these, though? Hmm? She eyed the knocker...and knocked THREE times before taking a seat. There was someone else here to see Professor Morgan too..Eden gave her a small wave a and a shy smile.

BOUNCY.

Eden bounced a little and was generally happy today. YAY. Yay for being in a good mood for once..maybe it was from..the interaction with Eddie this past weekend that had her happy. HEEEEh. Had she knocked three times? She had. She couldn't quite remember--but yeah..three. THREE knocks. She opened her notebook suddenly and wondered--WHAT THE HECK WOULD SHE SAAAAAY?! Professor Morgan--GAH. Now she was getting nervous because she hadn't even THOUGHT about what she would say at ALLLLL.

Her cheeks turned red, and she wanted to hide in one of those chairs now...mehhhh.

Puck walked all the way to the divinations tower once again. Her heart hammered in her chest as she arrived there, as she didn’t know if Professor Morgan had believed her charade. It was for good reason.

She didn’t want her walls to crumble so soon, she didn’t want them to ever crumble. They had been her friend her defense since she was a child even…the only person who ever had seen slightly past them had been her friends from the school trip to Australia. Yeah, that had been fun; she smiled to herself and walked over to Professor Morgan’s door.

KNOCK-KNOCK-KNOCK she rapped her hand on the wooden door. She needed to do this homework, she wanted to see something else…maybe to focus on happy thoughts?

Penelope wanted to talk to Professor Cassie about scrying and crystal-reading. She had seen stuff in her ball in class. Class was not the only time that she saw stuff. She had also baked more wheat free cookies, and had brought some with her to give the professor. After knocking on the door three times, Penelope sat down on one of the bouncy chairs.

Cassie was starting to feel a bit better after that failure of a lesson. She needed to reflect and her scrying she had done right after class did help some. Making herself a little hot chocolate she heard a knock and turned to open it. "Come in" She called not wasting time going clear to the door. She was happy to have visitors so they could certainly come in and get comfy.

Reading her quibbler Cassie had made her self a cup of tea, it had been a crazy day and she had a lot on her mind. So the best way to get out of things on her mind was reading the gossip of others. Yes, this was the best past time that she could think of. Well shopping for shoes was the best past time, but this was right up there s well. Hearing a knock she got up and went to the door. Opening it she grinned, "Hello, won't you come in? I have tea and hot chocolate." Visitors were always fun!

Just as she thought the day wasn't busy already she heard another knock at her door. Getting up and accidentally stepping on Aries tail.
So sorry, I told you to move away from my feet though."
She even knew he was there and still stepped on him. Poor cat! Now opening the door she smiled at the visitor. "Well hello, how are you? Would you like to come in?" She always loved to have guest.

Yawning a bit from the busy day, Cassie was straightening up her office and thinking about popping out to her actual home for a few hours. Not that she didn't mind being at Hogwarts, but her own bed just seemed a bit too tempting at the moment, but hearing the knock at the door she quickly lost her thoughts and moved to see who was at the door. "Penelope, what a surprise. Do come in and visit for a bit." She had come to enjoy the girls visits and hoped she was staying for a while.

Ian was leaving the Room of Serenity after a partial failure to meet the requirements of sight. He wasn't sure how this worked, but he had enjoyed this class since his first year here. It was a little hokey, but there was some measure of being an outsider to it as well. Even the strongest wizards seemed to discount divination. Ian felt more like an outsider now than he ever had, and that was saying something. He made a decision and turned around on the stairs down and headed back to the professor's office.

He got to the door and knocked, hoping to get a few minutes of her time. He really needed to know that this was something he could do. He needed to feel like he was capable of something special. He just needed to feel like he belonged at this school. He no longer had that feeling and maybe divination was his way to feel that way.

Cassie hadn't been in her office she had a runny away cat that she had sensed was up to no good near the Astronomy Professor's Office. So she quickly left the office to fetch Gemini and now she was on her way back.

Stopping she fixed her shoe that had slipped as she walked quickly. As her green eyes lifted back up she noticed someone at her door. Had she forgotten to put a sign up saying she'd be back? "I am so sorry, I had to leave quickly, but I hope you weren't waiting too long."

Flicking her wrist with her wand in hand her office opened. "I hope you are having a wonderful day Ian, would you like to come in for a tea or Hot Chocolate?" Grinning she headed in and set Gemini down near Aries.

Go ahead and post in the office now :)

Jasmine had gone back and forth a million times about whether to visit Professor Cassie's office. She was a little reluctant, but she really needed to talk to someone about.......things. The Professor was very kind, understanding and most of all positive. If anyone could help Jasmine, it would be her. She had tried to talk to Professor Bentley last term, but her timing had been horrible. It was just when the Professor had announced she'd be leaving. So Jasmine figured that she could work things out on her own. Well obviously that hadn't happened and now here she was.

Before she could change her mind again, she knocked three times on the office door. Fighting the urge to run, Jasmine waited to see if Professor Cassie was inside. Maybe she was busy, but Jasmine had finally decided that she must do this. Prepared to wait, she found a chair and sat down.

Cassie had been feeling off, sniffling a bit she made some tea and sat in her little nook to read her favorite magazine. Right as she was about to sip her tea a knock made her jump. "oh, ouch"

Standing as she tried to dry the spot that the tea spilled on she made her way towards the door. "Coming" Stepping over a running cat she finally reached for the door.

"Hello" beaming at one Ravenclaw Prefect. "Jasmine, what a wonderful surprise. How are you? Would you like to come in." Stepping to the side so that the girl could enter. She always loved visitors.

*was waiting for SNAC to end for TL reasons*

She'd had plenty of time to rant talk to her Head of House after she'd left the SNAC meeting and the rest of the day to calm herself down. Now with a new day, Alexa made her way to the Divination Professor's office like she'd been asked to. This was all for formality sake really. You didn't ditch a Professor when they asked you to visit their Office, not unless you wanted to get a detention slapped on you later. Besides, this needed to be sorted. She hadn't done anything deserving of being kicked out.

Stopping at the door, she took a breath before giving a little knock. It was still early, earlier than breakfast even. Had to catch the Professor before she went down, in case she got the idea Lex had decided not to come at all then approached her at the Gryffindor table later. Food could wait.

Alexa waited a moment in the silent corridor before knocking again. What if she was still sleeping? The Gryffindor wasn't familiar with the sleeping habits of Professors.

Cassiopeia was a morning person, so she had been up for a few hours already and was sitting in her comfy nook reading Divination Weekly and sipping her peppermint tea when she had spit out her tea seeing something. "They published it!!" EEEEEEP! She snapped in her empty house. They published her article!

Just as she was about to read her name in print she heard a knock at the door. Checking the time she felt it was odd to have someone calling so early so she headed for the door. Goodness knocking again something must be wrong, opening it she noticed a certain Gryffindor and beamed, "Miss Cambridge it's so good to see you. Good morning." She had remembered telling the lion to see her, but she didn't assume it would be quite this early. "Please come in." She moved aside so that the Head Girl could make her way into the office.

Shortly after arriving back at school from break, Hayden made her way up to the Divination classroom. Was she there to do homework? Of course not. She was there on a mission. Hayden was carrying a small box wrapped in purple paper with a silver bow around it. She approached the door and knocked three times. Knock. Knock. Knock. Anyone home?

Cassie had just gotten back and was unpacking some of her gifts that she didn't leave at home when she heard the door. "Oh visitors already." She gave each kitten a scratch before heading to open it. Seeing a young familiar face on the other side Cassie beamed at Hayden. "Well hello Hayden it's so good to see you."

Noticing the package she stepped aside, "Why don't you come in. Would you like some hot chocolate or tea?" It was always polite to offer a guest a beverage and hot beverages were always comforting if they were upset, though not all were, but she still like to offer the hot beverages anyway. "I hope you have a nice break." She always hoped all her students did.

Merlin, WHY did his head hurt so horribly? And why did this have to be so early?? Normally, Zander was extremely tired in the morning, but this. This was a new low. He had practically dragged his feet all the way over to the office, with his eyes shut. And the yawning, MERLIN WITH THE YAWNING. It just wouldn't stop. He was feeling his absolute worse. So terrible that he fell asleep during breakfast, so he didn't even get to eat then. But what made him feel even worse than all of this, was the fact that there was a tugging guilty feeling at the pit of his stomach. And it definitely wasn't the lack of breakfast.

Stretching his arms up in the air, he made his way towards the office door and knocked three times.

He felt horrible. TERRIBLE. He knew he had said some awful things the other day, but the worst part was that he couldn't even remember all of it.

Felixir 10-15-2014 09:57 PM

not sure if different timelines or not .-. *intentionally vague*

Okay. So. After all that business at the SNAC club, with the whole... dead people thing, and having ruined the atmosphere with his lack of focus and THEN having to bail on the rest of the meeting, Toby thought it would be a VERY good idea to drop by Professor Morgan's office.

And apologise.

For being awful.

So that was what brought him all the way up to the Divination tower, and had him knocking on the door and waiting for the professor to respond.

Bazinga 10-16-2014 02:24 AM

She had gotten up early that day, brought up some snacks from the kitchen and made her office presentable for the day. Knowing Zander would be there, even though he was acting very strangely she knew he would not cost his house points by not showing up. He was a good kid and she was very concerned about his outburst yesterday. It just wasn't like him. So when she heard the knock and looked at her watch she knew it had to be him.

Going towards the door she opened it up, "Goooooood morning Zander. I hope you got some sleep and are feeling rested." Yes, she'd still be very sweet and kind to him, he was a student and she would never not be nice to a student, even though some had pushed her this term. Moving aside she gestured into the office. "Please come in, I brought up some donuts and other pastries if you would like some. I also have tea and hot chocolate." but he knew the drinks. He had been here before.

It was that time again, time to sit down and mark some papers. Not one of her favorite things to do, but it had to be done. So picking up her favorite quill she began looking over things. Well at least some of the homework wasn't looking as bad as some of her lessons had this term. She was still highly disappointed in a few and totally blamed herself. Her mind full of distractions, she lifted her green eyes as the knock came to the door.

A break seemed too good to be true, but she got up and left her shoes off. Walking across the office and opening the door. "Well hellllo Toby. What brings you here?" She wondered curiously. "Please come in, can I get you any tea or hot chocolate?" Moving aside to let him come in if he wished.

After gobstones match

Penelope had all of the pieces of parchment from the snap cup in her pocket. Every proud moment had been saved from the mean queen. She had added a new piece of parchment to the others, her third parchment from that lesson.

SPOILER!!: another proud moment
I am proud of Kace for helping me when I was curled up on the floor, crying.

Professor Cassie should appreciate the proud moments much more than the queen had. It was good to have Professor Cassie back, even though the divination professor didn't really know that she had been possessed.

She was spending more then an average time in her little office, because she just wasn't feeling her bubbly happy self, after hearing everything she had done. It was just shameful how mean she was to students and staff. The staff one was really bothering her.

Letting out a little sigh as she tidied up the room her eyes turned as she heard a knock at her door. Setting down the books she was organizing, Cassie turned and made her way for the door. "Penelope, hello" What a pleasant surprise. Thankfully the girl had helped her piece together some of the forgotten moments of the last few weeks.

"It's nice to see you dear, please come in."

Eden was back again. Only this time it wasn't such a ...cheerful visit. She sighed as she took a seat to wait for Professor Morgan to call her in. She had some notes in her hand in case she wanted to sound...as polite as possible and NOT blurt out the mean things she wanted to say.

SHE WAS TRYING TO BE RATIONAL.

This was clearly NOT Professor Morgan's fault and--UGH. Eden just needed to talk to her. About all...that had happened and whatnot. So she waited, and read over her notes..which she had worded to sound so very nice and polite. If she stuck to them...she wouldn't offend Morgan at all. or shouldn't offend her, anyways.

ArianaBlack 11-06-2014 05:31 AM

.... Wasn't it weird that just a few minutes ago Professor Culloden was accusing Zander of trying to mess with him... And now he was following the fourth year blindly?! What had Zander even said that made Culloden so eager to find Professor Morgan?! And... Would it ever work again because he could totally use a secret word that would get Culloden to do stuff without getting all mad and shouty like normal.

Anyways, the walk up to the divination tower was rather long, so Zander kept peeking back to make sure that the Professor was still following along. "Almost there Professor, I swear!" and with that being said, just a few more stairs until *DRUM ROLL* aha! The final destination.

Professor Morgan's office. Don't worry Professor, Zander brought Culloden along and he's got a antidote so that the hate potion crazy behavior will go away!! ... But still, how come Professor Morgan is the one that went nutzo when Zander was the one who took the potion? And she did seem fine the day after when he went to her office. Except, then in class and yeah. Okay. Culloden was here which meant there must be something he could do to help.

Knock.... Knock.... Knock!
