Angel was seeming some what calm which was a good thing. This meant it would be a little bit easier to deal with her. "Whatever this is, were in it together." Just a little bit more comfort being thrown at her beloved sister.

She was ready, she was SO ready. "One... TWO..." Deep breath, Angel. "THREE!!!" Bottoms up. AJ closed her eyes as she threw the contents of the bottle down her throat. For just a moment she wondered if anything was going to happen. She wasn't feeling different at all. What if hers didn't work? That would be a major bummer.

Finally opening her eyes, she looked out at the class around her to see how everybody else was doing when her eyes landed on Ian. Sweet, sweet chocolate frogs. When did that hunk of a man get so dashing? It was as if AJ was seeing him for the first time.

Her brain was gone. It was her heart and feet that were leading her. AJ didn't even look back at Angel to see how she was doing. As far as she was concerned Ian was the only person in this classroom.

AJ strutted over to his desk and threw herself on top of it. She looked up into his big, beautiful eyes while batting her eyelashes. "Hey there, sweet thing!" Her elbows were on the table and her hands were propping her head up... the better to see him, you see.

The second year kicked her feet back and forth while she admired the hottest guy that she had EVER laid eyes on. "What do you say me and you ditch this class and share a chocolate frog?" Wink, wink.

Angel looked at her sister. "Okay." Angel was glad they were in it together at least nothing bad could happen. "I'm ready." Angel listened to her sister and when she got to three she swallowed the potion... it was going to be amazing she hoped.

Angel drank the potion she was really worried and now she had to figure out which potion she had just drunk she looked around and suddenly saw BENNY.

OMG!! Since when did Benny look so hot... seriously he was more that a movie star... she knew he was amazing but not this amazing she was going to marry him.

"Hey Benny... Me... You outside now... church..." Angel walked over to him and *kiss* "Seriously we are getting married." *kiss* "What you doing handsome guy... You going to come with me to that church then so we can get married and be together forever and ever." Angel was giving her best puppy dog eyes. "Your the only one for me... I'm going to be Miss Benny for the rest of my life."

Ian was still looking for a partner and was facing the back of the room when someone SAT ON HIS DESK! He turned, ready to let them know what he felt about that particular choice. He had work to do and having a person on top of his desk was going to make that challenging. Then, the person to speak and he knew the voice without hesitation. It sounded funny though. It was saying words that were uncharacteristic and completely innapropriate for a class, much less this one...in a dungeon...with dangerous things all over.

He looked AJ square in the eyes and with a perplexed look on his face said What?!? He looked around frantically for Adi. He wasn't messing that up worse again and he hoped maybe Adi could do something about this. This was NOT the way to make this class work better.

Caleb wasn't too thrilled about drinking a potion that someone else had concocted, that could do ANYTHING to him...but it was all in the name of house points. He knew that Culloden certainly wouldn't KILL them or do any lasting damage - probably just humiliate them. Professors LOVED doing that, didn't they?

"Anyone need a partner?" he called out to the room. He didn't care who he partnered with, really - after all, the potions were going to be random, not actually BREWED by said person, correct?

He hoped he didn't have anything TOO embarrassing to deal with...

Ian heard someone say they needed a partner and this was a really, really good time for him to leave AJ. He got up. [b]AJ. Why don't you go talk to your sister...or even better. Go talk to Adi. Caleb's looking for a partner and I need to go help a brother out. Ian quickly skirted over that way.

Ian slid to a stop in front of Caleb. Ummm....I heard you need a partner, and I REALLY need someone to keep me away from a weird girl. You wanna work together? Ian mouthed the words quietly please say yes, please say yes, please say yes.

Ian had enough drama the first day of school to fill a couple terms. He surely didn't want to add to his drama tank.

Kace saw Zeke take a potion and thought he was very brave. Kace wouldn't have the guts to go first. He smiled and saw him gulped it down. As he approached he saw all the bottles be the same. He didn't know which one was which. He could do eeeny menny minie mo because that was fair. He pointed to one and picked it up. He opened the bottle and gulped it down. Ergghh it tasted horrible! He squinted his face from the taste.

As soon as the liquid traveled down to his stomach he suddenly was starting to feel horrible. He felt really sick.

And then there were the eyes....the puppy dog eyes that seemed to always make him melt and agree to whatever she suggested they do at that time.

This was weird...this all hurt his head more...and then he felt like he was going to be sick. The Gryffindor wondered if could escape as the nausea took hold but finally opted for the closest item he could use...his cauldron.

Drifting...drifting...Adi was drifting off into a blissful sleep. Sleep was a beautiful thing. Mhmm...he didn't even feel tired anymore. Obviously. But his conscious was still present and he was still aware of his surroundings though vaguely. That's why Adi was able to hear Angel.

He practically leapt out of his seat. But then he had to grab onto his workstation yet again to maintain his balance. But still, he was no longer THAT tired. He hobbled over to AJ and tapped her on the shoulder. "What do you think you're doing?'' he demanded. Just look at her, leaning against the desk like that and getting all flirty with Ian.

The boy GLARED at his fellow Puffer, not really thinking that this was neither Ian's nor AJ's fault.

Ian looked back to AJ, to make sure she wasn't following, when he saw Adi glaring at him. Ian sighed heavily and placed his face in his hands. He pondered what, if anything, he should say to explain he didn't have anything to do with this. He decided his best course of action was stunned silence and silent pleading with Caleb to get out of this situation.

Oops, Cosgrach should have seen that coming. Thankfully, the girl was as clever as a Slytherin should be, and cleaned her cauldron before the odour was spread everywhere. Still, to prevent it from happening again, he poured a bit of some liquid into a glass and went to her.

"This should help with the vomiting," he said softly. It wouldn't relieve her of nausea, but she wouldn't vomit again.



Not if Professor stepped in to PREVENT the cat fight.

Oh, he was certainly, very amused. But he wouldn't be amused if they really did fight.

So he went over to the couple (hehe) and did what he did to Zahra and Gabriel: he shoved two terrible odours up their noses without a warning to make sure they WOULD smell it. It was strong enough to make them less passionate, but weak enough for them to still feel the luuurve.



And more kissing and vomiting.

Cosgrach lazily cleaned the Gryffindor's cauldron, thankful that he didn't kiss Angel back. Then, he shoved the same odour up the girl's nose. This way, she wouldn't be in too much love to act inconveniently at a class. He also handled Benny a glass with a liquid that wouldn't relieve him of nausea, but he wouldn't vomit again.

My my, love triangles (or circles?) would be questioned a lot after this class, wouldn't they? Cosgrach was only amused by this. If they were too hot-headed not to realise it was all for science, then they didn't deserve the luuuurve anyway.

"Adi, son," he said cooingly, "you forgot? She is poisoned. You're still her true love. This is just for this class." Mhmm.

Did he mind moving back to his seat and work on fixing Benny?

How was Ian not radiating with love like she was? Did he not see that they were meant to be? AJ totally ignored his question and his confusion. She would just have to make him see the truth. Her finger reached up and booped him on the nose. "I love you, Ian." A dreamy smile played on her lips and she just stared into his eyes. "I love everything about you, and I know I can make you so happy."

Who was tapping her on the shoulder and RUINING her moment? Her head turned and she rolled her eyes at Adi. "I'm spending time with my true love, obviously." Couldn't he see how perfect they were together.

Wait....

Why was her studmuffin leaving. "Iannnn..." she called out after him. Her face turned to meet Adi's once more. "Look what you did." AJ shoved him out of her way and followed Ian. "We can have it all Ian. A white picket fence, unicorns, and loads of chocolate frogs." She jogged over to him and clung to his arm. There was no getting away from AJ Valentine. "Don't fight it," she whispered.

Then the professor was interfering. "No, I love Ian." Was everybody blind?

Ian was extremely grateful that Caleb agreed to work with him. He heard the professor speaking to Adi and hoped that would solve things there. He glanced nervously back at AJ, hoping that she would stay away. He looked over to Caleb again and smiled. Great! How should we start? In the confusion of AJ and running, he had forgotten the assignment instructions and his were back at the table where AJ was draping herself like a young pin-up model, asking him to share chocolate frogs. That hadn't changed, her love of chocolate frogs. Maybe she should have looked at a chocolate frog first. THAT would have been entertaining.

Ian was just about to breathe a quick sigh of relief when he felt pressure on his arm and turned to see AJ holding him and talking about fences and unicorns (oh brother!) and chocolate frogs. Then she whispered something about him not fighting it.

Ian began to try and pull AJ's arm away from him. AJ! You don't love me. You don't even like me. It's a trick. You drank something that made you feel this way. You love Adi and he loves you and I'm not messing that up. Go have pickets and frogs and frolicking unicorns with him. He looked over at Adi, trying to guage his mood after the professor's admonition and then added, Plus. I don't love you. Valentine girls be cray-cray!

Oh look Culloden was going to save her from this maddness.She watched as he made them sniff something. Good, "Thank you." She laughed or more of sang it out load, amused and like WAYYYY TOOOOO Happy to let it bug her.

Mmm well,,, was she on a love potion too? Or did she really have a thing for him? It didn't matter she wasn't about to have someone start fighting with her over a guy that she barely knew. So not.She can have him or think she can if she was on a love potion. Cinna continued to laugh and giggle over the whole thing.She was still too happy to let any of this bother her.

Hearing her name, Lux turned and saw that it was her best friend. Fix this? "Fix WHAT?" she asked, her sleepy mind not being up to speed with anything. What did Cinna want her to fix when she seemed so happy?

Oh, right.

Jasmine was getting involved, apparently 'in love' with Kevin but it was getting harder to focus on what was happening when her eyes were dropping and she was slouching in her chair. Nodding off again, she jerked herself awake. Why couldn't she just sleep in peace? But her bestie seemed to be in trouble despite being happy, and Lux couldn't make sense of it but she needed to fix whatever she was supposed to fix.

"I'll save you Cinnamon!"

Looking at her piece of paper she saw something about Wiggentree twigs so she got four and placed them in her cauldron. With a wooden spoon she slowly stirred them around and around and around...until she fell back asleep out of over-exertion.

Oh yeah, Ian! Adi was TOTALLY GLARING at you! Did you notice his left hand was balled into a fist also? Admittedly it wasn't a strong fist as he would have liked it to be because of the Potion making him feel tired.

Wait...what? Love? AJ had jumped all the way to saying she loved Ian? Adi refused to let that feeling of being heartbroken wash over him. "She doesn't mean it, she doesn't mean it,'' he repeated in his head. But still...she never had told him I love you. But suddenly Ian got the words that Adi knew were meant for him. Ugh!

And Ian was doing what he did best. Running away. "You wait right the-'' Adi began, moving after Ian very much intending to give him a punch or two. Two would be better since he was lacking proper strength. Even if it was not Ian's fault. But then AJ was shoving him...the Hufflepuff over balanced and suddenly found himself sitting on the floor.

Greeeeat. Adi flopped back on the floor. Maybe he could take a nap and when he woke up this whole thing would be over. Besides, he felt sooooooo tired. Since Culloden was addressing him now, he forced his eyes to train on the man. "I know, Dad,'' Adi said warily and not even realising he called his Professor DAD. He was THAT tired.Hehe. "Still...couldn't she have looked at me first?'' Sigh.

He closed his eyes again. Sleep was calling his name. But his conscious was nagging him. Why? Adi's eyes flew open. Benny needed his antidote! The lion was doing some serious barfing the last Adi had seen. He struggled to his feet, shot a glare at Ian and AJ then hobbled off to get his potions textbook. He needed it to go gather his ingredients.

Okay Adi was so not helping the crazy situation with Angel wanting to marry him at the earliest possible convenience with his talk of best men and congradulations and telling them to go off elsewhere to kiss. If he didn't feel so meh himself already he would have likely been blushing like crazy. And if Adi wasn't yawning so much, his best friend would likely be enjoying this so much more.

His friend's potion definitely had to have something to do with sleep or tiredness.

But then his nausea had taken control and he was more green than red. As he sat back in his seat, he just barely registered Professor Culloden's presence near them and the vanishing of his mess or the fact that Adi was no longer on the other side of him as the Hufflepuff reacted to AJ's actions towards Ian. The glass that was handed right to him did get his attention further and he tentatively looked up at the professor as if debating taking it.

Finally he did give in, taking the glass and swallowing the contents. Meh. Hopefully it helped once it kicked in. "No...I'm not," he admitted truthfully as Angel voiced her concern for him, an ever so weak smile as he registered what else she was saying. It was nice if not over the top a bit The fourth year leaning his head forward and resting against the table in front of him as he wished to feel better so he could manage to do something useful.

She did? Zhenya was relived! "Oh good, good, thank you Jasmine. Wh-what one was it?" she asked.
She was just starting to feel better again when Jasmine started yapping on about Kevin again. She rolled her eyes, really wanting to feel a bit better if she had to listen to lovey-dovey-icky stuff. Something just didn't sound right though… They were't dating, but Jasmine was saying he was the one for her. Zhenya only dated Gary for a while and was still heartbroken over him, wondering where he was now, what he was up to, whether he was married but even then she wouldn't have spoken about that. Isn't that something you kept to yourself? Surely it was.

She was still trying to figure out what poison Jasmine had taken. Jasmine had been able to help her clean our her cauldron, which was fair enough. Zhenya probably wouldn't have appreciated essence of vomit in an antidote either. Much better out.

WHAT!? Zhenya's head whipped around and stared at her partner, incredulously. WAHT?! He loves me too? What did that mean? Oh, but she shouldn't have whipped her head around so quickly. Now she felt dizzy, her headache was worse, and her nausea was worse. Her lips trembled, she burped and hugged her cauldron again.
UH OHH!



Zhenya looked up thankfully at the Professor. It was a glass of something. Zhenya was sure it wasn't the antidote, he seemed to be enjoying himself. If she didn't feel so poorly, she might have enjoyed it too, all those people in love.
"Thank you," she said to the Professor, and downed the potion.

She thought she was going to vomit, for sure, but the potion seemed to magically stop that. She didn't even feel those pre-vomit warnings anymore. The nausea still bubbled around in her stomach, but nothing else was happening. She was so relieved. Vomiting was the worst, especially when it came out of her nose and mouth!


Zhenya turned around but Jasmine wasn't there. Maybe she was going to get her ingredients for the antidote. Maybe she would have to figure out what poison Jasmine had taken when she was cured. She really had no idea… then she heard some commotion.

She looked around and.. there she was. Oh no… Oh no, no, no…

THAT WAS IT!!!!

Jasmine was in LOVE! Oh, how could she have been so daft? OF course, a love potion! That would make Jasmine feel really good and happy, she was all gross and mushy speaking about Kevin WHO SHE WASN'T EVEN DATING, and now she was getting furiously jealous about him speaking with someone else. OH! She finally had it.

She pulled her text book from her books and furiously flipped through it. Surely she had to do this quick. The Professor, she had seen, had intervened, but just like her nausea and headache and diziness were still there, she was sure Jasmine's love was still there too.

Okay, those were her ingredients!

Adi had gathered every single ingredient he needed in order to brew the Antidote to Common Poison. So it had taken him longer than usual and he had to take a few minutes of rest before completing the collection but now each of them was laid out before him on his workstation.

The Puffer kept shooting looks at Ian and AJ. Why didn't Angel just go brew her sister the antidote? Hmph. He forced himself to look down at his potions book. Time to get started on the brewing.

His mortar and pestle were needed first. Adi magically cleaned it before adding one bezoar to the mortar. With the pestle, he began to crush the stone. It seemed to take an ETERNITY to crush the thing. He had to sit back down to conserve his energy. But unfortunately for him, the comfiness of the light blue chair made him want to doze. So standing it was!

Carefully measuring out four measures of the bezoar powder, the fourth year added it to his freshly Scourgified cauldron.This was followed by two measures of standard ingredient. His potion brewing was punctuated by a particularly loooooong yawn. He sincerely hope Benny was working on the antidote for him.

Anyway..."Incendio!'' Burner lit, Adi heated the two ingredients on medium heat for one, two, three, four, five seconds. Grabbing the wand, he waved it. Now it was time to wait for the mixture to brew.

Why was he fighting this? "Don't push me away. It's okay. We can be honest with each other now." There was no way that Ian couldn't feel the love radiating between them right now. It was if AJ was finally living. Life before Ian was her just simply existing. AJ was fighting him. Her hold on his arm only tightened.

A trick? "There's no way my feelings are a trick." She was oozing with love. This was REAL. Adi loves her? "He's never told me that before, besides it doesn't matter. All I care about is you." She breathed him in deep. AH! Real love.

"No, no, no, no, NO!!!" This was all wrong and she even stomped her foot in protest. She didn't want those things with Adi, she wanted them with Ian. He didn't love her? It's okay Ian, you can admit it now." This was a safe place here.

Adi's balled up fists did not go unnoticed by AJ. She would stand between the two because there was no way that AJ was going to let Ian get hurt. The lion noticed that Adi had been knocked to the floor from her shove when she scurried off after Ian, and under normal circumstances she would have helped him up. Really, he would have never been down there in the first place. This poison had a hold on her, and it was as if everything that Adi and AJ had was gone.

There was something that she was supposed to be doing with Angel, but she couldn't remember right now. All she could think about was Ian and how good he looked in yellow. Hubba, hubba.

To say Maddie wasn't confident that Cinnamon was going to brew her an adequate antidote was a BIT of an understatement. It was terribly annoying too because Maddie KNEW what she needed and she HAD all the ingredients for it, she just couldn't DO anything right now. Being exhausted was the most frustrating thing because her brain was screaming directions but her body was all: LOL MADDIE, NO. ZZZZZZ. It really wasn't fair. Such was life, though. She'd just have to show Culloden she TRIED and hope he didn't hate her for being a massive disappointment. Merlin knew her dad did.

"You need the Calming Draught, I'd say." All the happiness was making the older girl giddy and unreasonable and while Maddie was SURE she FELT good, she was acting quite silly. Funny how those suffering from love sickness and those suffering from extreme happiness were displaying some of the same symptoms. "I know I have the recipe. I KNOW it." Tongue between her teeth, the second year fought off the urge to nap as best she could and went back to her notes. NO tears this time, okay? Just slow turning of pages and scanning the contents. Thank MERLIN Dima and Kyroh weren't around to see her like this. They'd know she'd gone soft and then try and hug her EVERY day.

... ... ... "Here." It came out as a whisper but talking was HARD, okay? Even the muscles in her face were tired and doing literally ANYTHING was making her want to throw in the towel. She'd found what she'd been looking for, though. She had the recipe. Now she just had to BREW it which meant she needed to MOVE more. Impossible, that was. Maybe if she just rested for a minute she'd feel more refreshed. Maybe. Yeah.

Propping her elbow on the table, Maddie rested her cheek on the palm of her hand and took a deep breath. Oh yes, this was nice. This was good. She just needed a minute t--zzzzzzZZZZZZZzzzzz

"I am maaaaaaaaarvelous," Dot slid out from the inside of her cauldron and quickly plunked it on the table so she could brew something. SAVE the SOPHIE! SOPHIE FOR QUEEN! Marvelous Sophie.

"I want to dance. With him. He's the cutest boy I have ever seen, and I know Toussaints," Dot was talking to herself and her cauldron and probably Sophie while she eyed the inside of her cauldron critically. It was dirty because her hair was in there, so she'd clean it. And Culloden would be proud of her and they'd be best friends too. "Culloden is going to be my best friend."

FYI, SOPHIE. "CLEANITUPICUS!" Nope. That wasn't it. Dot tapped her wand on the rim of the cauldron and tried to remember the spell. "Stupefy!" The spell bounced off the rim and went spinning off into the room, but NO THAT WAS NOT IT. "Scourgify!" Clean cauldron, yay!

"Soooooophie. What makes you happy?" Dot pulled her Potion book and notes closer.
