Els knew what she was getting Kurumi for a "Hey, you're cool and I like you" present. Because she was, and she did. She didn't think she knew him. Ah. Right. Okay. Elodie nodded, and shrugged. "It isn't important. He probably won't change the world some day. He might be one of those that finds a corner of the globe and hides there though. Nothing big or exciting." Much like her life. Nothing exciting. Nothing big. Everything up in arms. Wow. That was weird. Maybe she was going to be like that.. Find a corner and hide there.. It'd work, considering as she had no idea what to do with her life or what she was going to do. She wanted to deliver babies. And that was all she knew. Whether she wanted to go straight into the education or travel was the big problem here. Once seated, Elodie pulled the hat from her head and adjusted how her jumper lay, before waiting for Kurumi to come back. And when she did, WITH STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE, Elodie could only grin. "I love strawberry shortcake," she smiled, and pulled the plate and her drink closer to her. "Thanks, Kurumi." |

Willa was just having the best month ever. Christmas was nice, her life was pretty much perfect right now. She had a boyfriend but she would have to surprise Lux about that in summer when she was out of school because Willa always had a rocky start at new relationships and she wanted to make sure that this one stuck for forever. She wasn't going to jump head in like she just did with a man that she didn't think she would end up getting her heartbroken with after only a few months. No. This was her way of making sure that she doesn't get hurt and Lux would have to get over it when Willa told her. "Just about the same as yours." |

And this was the reaction she had expected to the news. "I love him, Willa." |
SPOILER!!: Benny Adi was still quite stunned to hear that Benny could see Thestrals. He wondered why his friend had never told him this before. Maybe he just didn't want to talk about it. Adi waited for something to come out of Benny's mouth. When words finally came, Adi was not surprised that Benny spoke just a tiny bit about it. He had been right. The Gryffindor did not want to speak about it. Adi would have pressed for more information and he wanted to but he couldn't do that to his friend. He was going to talk about it if and when he wanted it. "I'm sorry about that, Benny.'' Poor Benny. "You wait right here. I'll go get our orders.'' ................................. Adi returned moments later with two bottles of Butterbeer clutched in his right arm while he levitated two plates containing their brownies. He had gotten two for the Lion, too. Brownies cheered people up, right? It did for him. Well, all sweets did that. "Here you go, Dragon. Eat up and let's not think of Thestrals. How are things with you and Angel?'' Angel was a safer topic, yes? |

The boy nodded. "Of course you can. I won't tell a soul." he promised with a nod. He actually didn't even know who Emmy was. But he was sure he'd recognize the face if Kace pointed her out. Leaning in when Kace did, he listened and raised an eyebrow, a smile slowly spreading across his face. Leaning back into his chair he gave Kace a thumbs up. "Nice, very nice! I'm sure she'll love it. You gotta tell me how she reacts too!" he added. |

As Willa listened to Lux talk she couldn't help but think about Jaxson and how nice it would be to have a date with him at Hogsmeade. They had already had a movie date at her house not that long ago and that was when he had asked her be his girlfriend. Will was just so happy to be happy in a relationship for once. Well it wasn't like she wasn't have in her past relationship but this new one just felt like it would stick like glue forever and a day. The she heard Lux ask her about food. "Food? Nope, I'm full. I just came here to surprise you." Nice save, Willa. |

Why was she being questioned? Just because she was 13 didn't mean she couldn't be in love. "I love him. He makes me so happy." Maybe now her sister would start to like Bay. |
Text Cut: Silver Barry For Merlin's sake, Silver still remembered that hideous nickname for her and that wasn't all, she even pulled Beverly into a hug. What a feelsy person, Silver was. Beverly gave her back small pat before pulling away. Despite herself, she ended up grinning. "I'm not blind and how can I not tell the difference? You went from fluffy the cloud to slick like a Veela." Hmm. Maybe Silver could teach her about hair stuff. Maybe. But not right now. Looking down at her clothes, Beverly glanced back up at Silver with a raised brow. "It's just a jumper and jeans and a coat and boots." Simply clothes, get over yourself, Barry. And here comes the apology. If she had to admit it, Beverly would agree that it had stung a bit when Silver ditched her in the summer. Now though, she simply shrugged. The apology didn't matter because Beverly had had the BEST summer of all time and she wouldn't trade it for anything. She did laugh a little. "It's called Karma, Silver Barry." She smirked. "But." Dramatic pause. "It's okay. I had a really nice summer." More than nice, but she wasn't the gushing type, so she just grinned. A true grin that reached her eyes, and one that rarely made an appearance. That grin slowly slid off her face when she followed Silver's. Who were those men outside? "Do you know them?" The answer was obvious, she quickly mended it to: "I can go out there and hex them for you." Because she knew how Silver was. She was like a cute baby bear who didn't know how to catch fish yet. "None of that," Beverly mumbled at her question, still eyeing the men outside. Her hand was already at her wand holster. She'd SO give them a good hexing. She would. |

When Kace showed him the gift, he grinned. "I am glad you approve. I will tell you how she reacts. The date is tonight and I will tell you how it goes via Owl." he promised his friend. "Also do you know Emmylou Duchannes?" he asked her. He showed him a little photo he kept in his wallet. After he showed the picture he said, "So dude...I gotta ask you, what is with the new look. It is kind of rock starish look. I sort of liked it." Kace grinned in approval. |

Though, that stupid kid had ruined a perfectly good pair of trousers. He lazily traced fingers onto the back of her hand and continued, "No one helped me...until Botros drenched me in water from head to toe." Effectively ruining all of the work he had put into his hair that day. Y'know, he was a good looking guy, so it took time to make his hair look like he hadn't put any work into it at all. Wrap your head 'round that. |

Via owl? Nice. "I'll keep my eye out for that owl, then." he said with a smile. He couldn't wait! "Where are you guys going for your date?" he then asked curiously. Watching as Kace showed him the picture, he recognized the girl from the pathways just the other day. "Oh! Her! I met her the other day, actually!" he said with a nod. It was awfully cold and he had been walking and he had shared his candy with her. He smiled when Kace complemented his hair. "Thanks! I dunno, I thought of growing it out really long and kinda gave it a shot over the summer. I liked it and decided to keep it. I'm glad you like it!" he said with a smile, taking a drink of butterbeer. |

But really, what did anyone expect? She was voted most gullible in the yearbook one term. She had forced a smile at the mention of baking, by the way. It was hard to do that recently thanks to certain smells becoming hard to stomach. She was still sorting through which spices did and did not make her nauseous. Ironically, the meat cookies for her dragons were perfectly acceptable and mushing up the ground beef and pork was actually calming. It was weird. So weird. And she wasn't going to comment on Elodie's analysis of her co-prefect. She didn't know him so she really couldn't judge. Although if what her friend said was true...it was a right pity. Especially for someone honored with such a position within their house. Folding her legs one behind the other and straightening her skirt, Kurumi warmed her hands a little on the sides of her mug. Warm pumpkin juice was surprisingly delicious, as she had discovered recently. Only the smell of Elodie's hot cocoa was starting to get to her, and she could feel her stomach bubbling, so she quickly reached into her pocket for a small potions vial and drank the contents. "Good. I figured one couldn't go too wrong if there were strawberries involved," she laughed as she relaxed into her seat a little more and pulled out a small white box from her bag. "Oh, I brought you something. It's not much, just some cookies and a little something extra I picked up when we went back to Japan for the New Year." |

Oh now back to the date. He had it all planned. "Well I am taking her to Madame Puddifoots and giving her the gift I showed you. So nothing TOO special. She doesn't like it when it is all fancy." he grinned. He just loved talking about Emmy. It brought a smile to his face. At least Dylan knew who he was talking about! He raised a brow and said, "Really? Where did you meet her?" he asked her curiously. Kace nodded and ate his lunch and drank his pumpkin juice. "Oh no problem mate, now for me I don't think long hair will look good on me." he chuckled. |

She was going to make his dreams come true? YES. This is why he knows he made the right choice. "Are you really?" Because now, that he thought of it, it was kind of weird. Probably best to keep it in his dreams..., but he will, however, still accept cookies and candy. Maybe fed into his mouth majestically by his girlfriend. Hehe. |

"How about I just give you cookies and candy?" That sounded so much better, really. SO much better. "I can even bake you the cookies if you help me." Mhmm. She hardly ever baked anymore but she wouldn't mind doing it for him and he'd hardly even have to help. She kind of just wanted him there for the company. |
Text Cut: *totally missed this* SORREHH!! Good, she knew she was being serious about him looking after himself. Good!! Because she wanted him very much alive, thank you!! Sophie kept smiling and smiling and smiilliiinngggg at the most amazing guy ever that just happened to be her boyfriend. Dreamy siigh. Wasn't he adorable? He WAS. "I love you." Ohwait, she had just said that, hehehehe! NO MATTER, she did really, so <33333 Sophie just watched him go on about how proud he was of Ethan. Awwwwwwwwww!!! She knew he could talk about that for a really long time, but it was fine, because she could simply watch him do that for a really long time too. She didn't mind at all! Look at him.... n'awwwww! And yes, she had totally forgotten about her own butterbeer by the time she rested her elbow on the table and her chin on the palm of her hand. "It's in your blood, isn't it? Being a Slytherin." The former Hufflepuff chuckled as she kept looking at him. When Mordred said about Ethan having a positive outlook in life and he didn't, Sophie's smile faded a bit. Nooooo! Awww, no! She gave him a sympathetic look and felt like cudling him forever to make him feel better. But since they were in the Three Broomsticks, she just rubbed his arm as she kept looking into his lovely eyes. "Noo, but.." Sophie paused for a second as she searched for the right words. "But you've got a really bright future ahead of you!" She said truthfully. The girl really, really believed that, and the reason was because "You're the most amazing person I've ever met!" Did he know that?? He should know, because Sophie was sure she had told him that before. If he needed to be reminded, it was ok, she would gladly remind him of that as often as he needed! "Honestly, Mordred, your life's... going to be amazing." She bit her lip because that was a very deep and odd thing to say like that. But she DID meant it!!! Yyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! She'd see him on Christmas Daaaaaaay!!! Sophie was a happy camper! "Lovely!! I can't wait!" She exclaimed happily. She wouldn't ask where he'd take her because she liked surprises and Mrodred was quite good at them. Besides, she knew he wouldn't tell even if she asked, hehe. EEP! What a CUTE face he did right now! It deserved a kiss so Sophie gave him one. LOVELY! Mordred believed dragons could communicate with Wizards... "Wow..." It was all she could say. That sounded... so interesting! The brunette gave him a bright smile because she knew her clever boyfriend was probably try his best to be able to communicate with dragons. And honestly, she believed he would be able to if he wanted. Proud girlfriend, right here! BEAM! Could they hug like, forever? Sophie didn't see a problem with that. She could take him back to uni with her, yes? Though that would mean he wouldn't enjoy his days learning about the stuff he loved. And if she went with him, she wouldn't learn the stuff she loved... Sigh... that was so difficult. She just wanted to graduate already and... well. You know. But SINCE that oculdn't happen yet, she would be happy to have him as her tutor. He waaas going to help her then!!! And uhhh... about starting from the beginning... "Uh... I think it'd be... best." Sophie shrugged sheepishly and bit her lower lip. Woops? But what a tutoorrr! "Looks like I've got the best looking and cleverest tutor ever then!!" GRINNN! |
Quote:
Brilliant idea! Because why would he ever deny cookies and candy? "Sounds like a better idea." WAIT. Bake cooooooookies together?? More like he'll admire her doing so and he'll just be the taster :D. "I'd like that." He smiled, "Sounds like a plan." |

Clearly there was a reason Penelope didn't take that subject anymore. This situation just continued to sound worse the more he described it. Merlin, a whole classroom of students, and not even one of them helped? People were more incompetent than she realized. They could swallow and memorize every textbook but couldn't do a simple Aguamenti to help a fellow student? Clearly school didn't actually help some people. "At least he helped you." He was one of the good professors, clearly. Even if his subject was uninteresting, but that wasn't his fault. "And at least you're okay," she continued, squeezing his hand. That was most important, that he was okay and hadn't been hurt. |

The Hufflepuff had a few sips of her cocoa and then set it back down when it was clear her lips were warming up from their potential blue state of previous. But it was most definitely time for her strawberry shortcake and in deciding where to start with it, she missed Kurumi and her little friend, the vial. She settled on a small forkful and set about eating it as her older friend reached into her bag. For what...Elodie had no idea, and was too busy dying over how gooOOooOOoooOOoood this thing was. OH. Oh, it was so good. Strawberrytastic! Super strawberryful! This was beauti- OOOH GIFTS?!?!?! Her fork took a clatter to her plate and she took the box with a grin and a thank you, and gave it her best "HELLO MY NEW BEAUTIFUL BABY" look. Christmas was hysterical with presents. They all got this look. Each one better than the next. And cookies were her favourite. FAVOURITE. She wiggled in her seat as she opened it and beamed and bounced and wiggled some more. "I can't WAIT to eat these later and oh OH I love it! Kuruuuuuumi! This is wonderful! Thank you! Food AND this! You spoiiiiiiiiiiil me. Are you spoiling Lord Lewis? How iiiis he? How's being married? Is it pretty much the same" She was totally into weddings. LOVED 'EM. |
