Seating Area Outside the Office http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps32a91d9d.jpg Professor Glendower hates to wait, but she knows sometimes it's a necessity. And as such, she has installed a fun and comfortable place to wait for her if you need to see her in her office. In a corner near the door is large and squishy hammock, filled with big fluffy pillows, and is roomy enough to fit several people. |
Eeeek! First post. This was the perfect time for Emmylou to meet all of her professors and any other important people of Hogwarts. She wanted to get the first hand of introducing herself and it was always a good thing to do, it made the professors notice their students more and what students to look out for. If it wasn't for her Aunt Raeanne then she wouldn't have known that or even think about meeting any of her professors at all. Emmylou hoped she didn't seem like a professors little pet because she didn't want to be like it not that there was anything wrong with that at all but she just didn't know how to go about this meeting professors thing. |

That was alright with her though. She was humming a little, thinking about making up her own words to the song when she heard a knock. Did she have a visitor? Nessa stopped what she was doing and looked up at the closed door before she walked over, her tap shoes click-clacking against the floor. Oh she did have a visitor! Nessa greeted the girl on her hammock with a bright smile once she opened the door! "Hello there!" she said, giving her a wave with both hands. "Would you like to come in?" Or maybe she wanted to hang out on the hammock a while. That was okay too, they could talk there even. |

All the seating areas that Emmylou had visited were all different looking, like it matched their personalities or something like that. Emmylou looked over when she noticed the professor lady and smiled. She was so excited to meet everyone, the thirteen year old was surprised that she could contain her excitement. What to say, what to say?Hello would do. The blonde gave a wave to the woman. "Hello, I'm Emmylou Duchannes. Yes, please." She wondered if her southern accent sounded weird to all of the European students. "I'm a transfer." She spoke up, she didn't know if this professor worked here for ages or was new to Hogwarts like herself. |

Oh a transfer! Interesting... "This is my first year too," she beamed at the girl as she pulled her office for open a little wider and gestured to the inside as she moved over a bit to allow her access. "Come on in!" OOC - Go ahead and post in the office! |
Demelza wasn't a NEWT student for History of Magic. But that, of course, was not a very good reason for not stopping by Professor Glendower's office for a chat. Professor Flamsteed had reminded her that she was not the only person at Hogwarts that had connections to the Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts anymore, so it was only fitting to pay the professor a visit. They could reminisce about the great things that happened at the Academy and talk about how lame Hogwarts was for lacking in all things related to performing arts. After making her way all the way down to the first floor from Gryffindor Tower, the brunette wondered whether or not the professor would remember her. She had only been a teacher assistant periodically when Demelza was at the Academy, so maybe ... oh, who was she kidding? She was Demelza Diggle, the best actress to ever roam through the Academy's halls. Of course the professor would remember exactly who she was. Knock, knock, knock. Once she knocked on the door, Demelza took a seat on the big hammock not far from the office door and started to sing quietly to herself. There was no knowing how long she would have to wait, so she might as well get some vocal warm-ups out of the way. |

She was seriously thinking about it when she got distracted by a rustling of feathers and she turned her head to see Ophelia making a fuss. "What's wrong, beautiful girl?" she asked the bird with a smile. "You'd like to sing too? Why, of couuurse you can!" She took the silencing charm off of the fwooper and began swaying to the music as she looked over her papers again. It wasn't long before she heard a knock at the door. "Seems like we have a visitoorrr!" she sang, glancing back with a grin to Ophelia before she got up to answer the door. "Hello, hello!" she beamed at the girl on the hammock. Oh, wait.. this girl looked really familiar. Nessa knew her, didn't she? But.. from where? She was terrible with names and faces.. was she in the junior ensemble of A Midsummer Night's Dream that she helped with?? Possibly.. but she was sure it would come to her sooner or later. How fun if that was her! "Welcome to my office! Come on in!" Professor Glendower opened the door wider and dramatically gestured towards the inside of the room. |
Professor Glendower had requested that Penelope come see her in her office. Penelope was dreading the time when she had to speak to the professor, but she knew that she had to come. What if the professor was scary and mean? What if she was in a lot of trouble? Nervously, Penelope knocked on the office door, hoping the professor would be nice. She would probably have to talk to the professor about what had happened in class. Penelope still felt bad for yelling at Kyroh, and she didn't really want to talk about the events in class. Burying herself in a pile of pillows in the hammock, Penelope waited for the professor to let her in to the office. |

She was expecting someone soon, though she wasn't exactly sure when and knew it could possibly be anyone. Best to go see who! Hopping up from her seat, Nessa walked over to and opened the door. "Hello, Penelope," she soon greeted and smiled at the familiar girl looking so cozy in the hammock. She had made a specific note of the Ravenclaw's name since the last class. "Come on in." Nessa opened the door a bit wider to allow her entrance. OOC - You can post inside her office now! |
Divination HW 1-post 3 The goal was not to interact with her. Not yet at least. Cutty thought it would be better if he put that off for later. After at least one more History of Magic lesson. He pulled out the card he'd made for Professor Glendower and took a good look at it. He found himself considering the ways in which it could work to convince the former WADA graduate that he was anything like a decent human being. He wasn't. But he wanted to convince her of this. Quick and clean-like, Cutty approached the door to Professor Glendower's office and slipped the colourful little sheet under the door and scarpered off quick as. |
