First Floor Corridor
|
Charlie&Olly&Elodie&Cat Schuyler meandered on down from the seventh floor alllll the way to the first floor for this little meet-up hang-out thing. She wasn't even sure what it was exactly, but it sounded like fun. Also Cat was bringing food, and judging by how tasty the girl's Christmas sweets had been... whatever she was bringing was bound to be good. Her pace slowed some as she walked along the hallway. Had they said where exactly in the corridor they were meeting? ...... Well. Schuyler would just roam for the time being. She was bound to bump into one of them. |
"Be super careful not to spill, 'Lodie. That is super yummy food you're carrying." And she'd spent a lot of time making it. Cat was extra super careful when it came to food and possible spillage. No one wanted their food to be dropped on the floor, nope. She was well pleased to see Schuyler was already there waiting, there was no Charlie with her yet, though and Cat had brought Elodie and Olly with HER, so... they were ALMOST all here. YAY! "Hi Schuyler." Cat beamed at the other girl. "I need a hug from you, okay? Will you hug me, my hands are full." Full of yummy food, but Cat still wanted her hug. |
She could just smell the food and she desperately wanted to just take a seat and eat it, but nope. Her best friend would probably hit her over the head with something and forever take spaghetti away from her. Which would be awful. "I'm not dropping it. I've got steady hands." She'd never dropped a child, so she wasn't going to drop food, which was much more important. Sorry Radley, Ophelia and Jessie. Food was yum. Bestie's food was even better. As Cat walked a little ahead, Elodie pulled faces until they found one of their group. Well, technically they were now a four and Charlie was the last one here. A possibility for saving the best till last, but Elodie wasn't too sure. She wasn't the last one here. "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii." Food time? |
Food. There had been the promise of food. Apart from that Olly REALLY didn't quite know what she was doing at a girls-meet-up. Yes, she did know and like two of them. Then there was Charlie. Also Cat who she didn't reaaallly know that well. But food. Also she just hoped they wouldn't be talking about girly things like nail polish and which professional Quidditch player they fancied. With one girl it was sooort of alright to talk about these things (the latter topic anyway) but with a group of them? That was just weird. Anyways, they were carrying food. And the smell made her mouth water. So she was obediently following Cat without protest until they'd reached their arranged meeting point. Where Schuyler was already waiting. No Charlie though. Good. Olly's eyes went to the Slytherin girl when she demanded a hug from Schuyler and her lips curled into an almost sly smirk. Could she ask for something too then? Her gaze back on the Gryffindor Olly grinned at her but didn't say anything. For now. Hi Schuyler. |
Schuyler smelled them before she saw them. Okay, she didn't smell THEM. Their food, rather. Cat's food, to be more specific. There were three of them approaching at once: Ringleader Cat with Lackey Elodie and Lollygagger Olly. And she grinned at the sight. When they got a little closer, she realized that there weren't just a few snacks, there was actual FOOD. Like, food food. Meal food. Mmm. What was that? Was that the hat? Cat's hat? Cat's Christmas hat? "Cat in the haaat!" She said with a wide smile. The MEOW snapback looked very cool, and the fact that she wore it made Schuyler happy. Gladly obliging the Slytherin, she moved to give the other girl a squeezy hug from the side so that she didn't bump into the food she was holding. "Lookin' fly." She normally didn't use the word 'fly' in slang terms, but she did in this instance. "Hey, Elodie," she greeted next. Schuyler hadn't gotten the chance to really talk with this Hufflepuff much, but they could change that. Today, yeah? Over food. Because there looked to be plenty of it. Her eyes finally shifted over to her best friend, who had remained quiet so far. Schuyler met her gaze and answered back similarly quiet, giving just a smile that was reserved for one Olly Clarke. Hi, Olly. Now... all they needed was Charlie. |
There was food. Charlie perked up at the smell, her pace down the stairs quickening. She was maybe late. She was probably late. But they liked her, right? They wouldn't start without her, would they? Or would they at least save some for her? After Cats Christmas present she'd wanted more Moretti food. Small taste wasn't enough. And she was happier again, which was good. Meant for more fun, and she'd be better company. Skidding 'round the corner, Charlie came to a stop, before slowing her skid to a walk. "Hiiiiiiiiii." Were individual greetings required, or would the rather long syllable suffice? Eye contact! And waves. And Olly. Oh, so maybe not everyone liked her, but she would be nice and polite and |
Well, that much was true. Elodie could most definitely be trusted with food and the proper handling of food, especially when it was food made by her very best bestie, of course. She beamed at Schuyler and grinned over the hug, cause Cat LOVED hugs and she'd totally gotten one just now. HEHE. "Thank you!" GRIN! "One of my favorite Christmas presents. Up there with Mo's." Her hands were full, but she wiggled the bracelet on her wrist a little. Christmas presents! And there was Charlie! Now everyone was here. "Hi Charlie!" Cat wiggled her fingers in the direction of the Ravenclaw well as she could with the food in her hands. "I kind of went overboard with the food, so do you guys want to go sit in the Great Hall?" She glanced around the group, figuring no one would mind since they were all getting FOOD. Surely no objections. "C'mon." She lead the way. |
Hadley wasn't quite sure where she was headed, except that it was the second time in the last half hour that her stomach grumbled. Which meant she ought to do something about that. Like instead of grading and planning and organizing, go and get some food for herself. Probably one of Hogwart's best benefits was the food. The question though was not simply about what she should eat, but more a case of where she should eat? The Great Hall was tempting and made the most sense, but if she headed directly into the kitchens, then it was positioned more appropriately for her to slide into the Hufflepuff Common Room for a few.... Leaning onto the staircase rail, she made a face as she felt another hunger pang. |

Lex drifted down the corridor, looking for anyone that was on the list he'd given her but this corridor seemed fairly empty--oh? Okay so not empty, there was Professor Hadley, not smiling. She must not be in love. So saaaad. The Gryffindor glided over to the woman, feeling positively light on her feet. In her mind she could still see all those muscles, not everyone here had that much, she noticed these things, like legit. "Helloooooooooo Professor." She said in a singsong-y voice. "Didn't think I'd run into you out here, isn't today just wooooonderful?" She thought it was. Actually no. She just thought that Frenchie was. |

Seriously, what was up with the dream-like state? If she hadn't been so darned hungry, then the signs might have been evident that something was up with Alexa Cambridge. As it were though, the Muggle Studies Professor simply chalked it up to her being her usual, hyper self. Perhaps excessive good mood carryover from the game? "Oh hi Alexa," She replied back, placing one hand on her stomach |

Lex got closer to the Professor and pulled out one of the chocolate's Gaston had given to her. He said she was meant to share them with everyone and the Professor counted as everyone....right? Right!! "If you're hungry," Because she was holding her stomach and all, "I have some chocolate frogs and cauldron cakes. You could have some to tide you over. If it's a stomach ache, I could probably follow you to the Healer and tell you all about how wonderful Gaston is on the way there." Naturally she was going to be talking about him. He was the only thing she could think of. While she waited on the Professor to either accept or decline, she reached for another and helped herself. "They're real good, made in France too." She'd always know French candy was delicious but this was something else completely!! |

She barely heard Alexa saying they were made in France. "Sure," Fina said, offering a half-smile, before she could change her mind. "A cauldron cake would be lovely. Thank you," She said, accepting the sweet. "So um, what about Gaston now? Who's Gaston?" No seriously. She didn't know. |

Lex dipped into her bag and fished out one of the cauldron cakes the Frenchie had given to her to share with the others. "Here you go Professor! You can also have another if you'd like." There was still plenty-- Gasp of all Gasps!!! Lex's eyes widened in shocked. "How do you NOT know who Gaston is???? He's the sweetest, most gorgeous boy that ever walked the corridors of Hogwarts!! Real good kisser too." And a firm nod because that was important information that obviously needed sharing. Everyone needed to know this, to know who he was because he was just THAT impressive. Ugh, seriously Professor, not knowing? |
