Making your way down to the great hall, it appears to be quite dead. In fact, not even Professor Scabior is in sight. It is only when you walk a bit closer to front that you notice that the door to the left of the staff table that is normally shut...isn't.
If you take a few steps closer and perhaps even peak inside you'll see the professor, standing at one end of the room. "Come in then, we don't have all day."
The puff gazed around the room. Was he supposed to know what the room was, because he had no idea, not a clue. One thing he knew for sure was that it wasn't the Great Hall. No, that was right outside. Raising his hand, he knew better to say that, so he offered. "An old classroom or office?"or you know, something. Maybe it had been used for super secret meetings.

Did Ella know what room she was in? Well yes, it was a room unfairly close to another huge room where the food was. Food that was so close but that she couldn't eat right now because she was in class. Meh. But seriously, this room? Ella thought about it for a moment or two before chancing a guess.

Just like that it was time to start the lesson. Scabior wasted no time.
Jory was still looking around the room when the professor asked the first question. he wasn't sure but he had heard of it. He raised a hand. "This was the room the Tri Wizard champions were told to wait in for further instructions after they were selected for the Tournament.'' Did the room have a name, anyway?

If anyone didn't know where they were right now, then how exactly were they alive? Because it took a functioning brain to live, and that person's brain was clearly not functioning. But then it dawned on Sky what Professor Scabior meant. "This is the room the Triwizard Tournement competitors were gathered up in in 1994." And it seemed that their professor had saved the best for last. So to speak, anyway. This lesson sounded like it could be really interesting. Now, if only she had a cushion for her butt....

Nigel did not know that much about this room. But it seemed that this room had something to do with the triwizard tournament. Which was pretty cool. But Nigel did not really know for sure. But it did look like this room would have been great for dueling."The Dueling Club's Room" Nigel guessed. Nigel was not even sure if they had a dueling club this term

Bleh, too many people were talking, saying the same answer over and over. Asher didn't worry about answering the question. But yes they were in the chamber that the Four triwizard champions had gone to after their names were chosen.
That year is should've been changed to the quad-wizard champions you know. For something more...... Whatever.

Cassia was pretty curious about why were they having the lesson in this room that's never been available before. Well, at least she didn't remember being allowed in it. Maybe it was used before. Surely it was because why build a room and not use it. And did the Professor have a specific reason to hold the class here. Or he just felt like changing the atmosphere. Change was good, Cassia supported it. Not that anyone asked for her opinion but she'd give it gladly.
Listening to the others' answers, the third year wondered how they knew about the Triwizard Tournament..Were they there? She doubted it. And oddly when they mentioned that occasion, Cassia's mind immediately started thinking about Dora's siblings. For reasons! Had Dora not been busy with.... stuff, they would have continued. But what's the rush for, still plenty of time.
Why was she talking to herself? Shouldn't she be answering the question, "Some extra room. I bet there are plenty of rooms we don't know about in Hogwarts." She said after raising her hand.

Turning his gaze and attention to the Professor when class started, Daichi listened to the first question. He looked around the room they were in and tried to think what it was used for. Well, this was the first time he had been in here, that's for certain. Automatically leaning his back against the wall (the professor wouldn't mind right?) he thought. Arms crossed over each other, Daichi finally raised his hand. " an old classroom that has not been used until now?" ...Atleast he answered!

What room are we in? Well, this was just like an ordinary empty classroom. Nothing looked so special here, he thought as he noticed around. "A classroom that usually used for seminar and apparation class." He said as he raised his hand.

Laura looked at the Professor and raised her hand before saying. "This is the room that the four twi-wizard students came into after their name came out of the goblet of fire." Laura smiled. "it's a private room that isn't supposed to be left open at all." Laura was sure that was the reason it was locked.

Sarah looked around curiously. Of course she knew which room she was in. She threw her hand up in the air and waved it enthusiastically. "This room was used in the triwizard tournament"she said. She recalled reading it somewhere. She had been attempted to wise crack yet she did not want to lose any house points.
When Belle was standing, she noticed the professor asked what room they were in. Belle giggled because it was like a vague question. But she raised her hand to answer it. "Professor we are in the hall where the Battle of Hogwarts took place and Voldemort and Harry had their confrontation on May 2 1988."

She was busy eyeing the room, not really paying attention to the people in it when the Professor got right to asking questions. If there was one thing she learned from her lessons with him it was that he liked asking questions...more specifically, he liked asking questions that she didn't know the answer to but she wouldn't complain. Nope, because she never answered them anyway.
Just like the question he asked just now. If she'd never seen this room before then how in Merlin's beard was she supposed to know what it was???
She continued eyeing the room for a bit more before deciding to give her answer; well, not an answer so much as a...er...well she was talking...."No clue Professor but it's pretty neat in here and I didn't know it was here before now which means it's probably a secret--like a secret passage or something that conveniently has a door. Is there a door on the other side too? Is this gonna be like one of those classes where we go through dark tunnels and learn about the footsteps of the people who use to come here? Kinda like where they walked when they thought the corridors were too mainstream?" She paused to take a breath as she continued taking in the room curiously. "If not then, again, I have no idea."

What was the room? Alice wasn't sure. A bunch of people said it had to do with the Triwizard Tournament, but she didn't know much about that, so she tried another guess when she raised her hand. "Wasn't there a Dueling Club in here one time, Professor?" She thought there had been.. or maybe not. Eh. Whatever. It was just an answer, yeah? Oh. Yeah, and seminars and Apparition lessons, but Alice didn't really care about those. They didn't affect her much, on account of she wasn't old enough to Apparate and some of the seminars were just really boring.
That last one, though, the one with the Toussaint lady. Alice quite liked that one.

Sophie really had no idea what that room was for and couldn't think of any interesting guess, so she just kept quiet, looking around as the others spoke.
She had noticed that door before, but never really considered what could be in there and now there she was! The fact they were all there did make her curious about this room, actually. She never wondered what it was for until right now!
So the girl waited for professor Scabior to give the correct answer and tell them what room that was exactly.

Anya looked around. It didn't look familiar. Probably because it was normally locked... ... and the staff table was kind of scary. Which meant, she wouldn't have wandered in this direction. Ever.

And just like that, he started class. No reason to waste any more time I guess. She thought about the question as she looked around the room. She hadn't really paid much attention to it before and as this was only her second year, she hadn't been involved in any of the things the other students were mentioning, but she did have one small piece of information stuck in a remote corner of her brain for whatever reason, so she raised her hand to say so. "Professor, I'm sure the other students are right about the room too, maybe from a long time ago...for the tournament and all. But I think I remember seeing a notice about a dueling club for this area. Does that still happen?" She looked around the room again, wondering what it would be like to run around it and hide behind things as she cast spells at someone. She still wasn't quite sure if she'd be very good at dueling, but she had enjoyed DADA class the other day, so maybe she would.

"It's just a...chamber," Sierra said, looking around. "I'm guessing it's used for lots of different things, though." She gave a quick nod to a few people who mentioned the participants in the Tri-Wizard Tournament back in Harry Potter's time. Merlin, how had they known the exact room the participants had gone in? That was some knowledge there! "My sister...the oldest one...said that when she was in school, some walls behind the staff table in the Great Hall broke down, and the students were able to go inside and find some hidden treasure." She paused. "Is this where that took place?"
It was question. Sierra wouldn't really know the right answer, but maybe Scabbers did.

Considering it was off the Great Hall, Mo thought it was unlikely that this was often used as a classroom. Too much traffic for people to really concentrate. On the other hand, there WERE classes here, so... sometimes it WAS a classroom. "I think they just have a need sometimes for a room here, so then they built one. Like sometimes you need to stage people before going into the Great Hall, or sometimes you want to have an extra room just for the pie."

Ella was a little confused as to the lack of specifics in Professor Scabior's question. What else could the room be used for? Well there were tons of options if it was just another extra room, yeah? The possibilities were kind of endless...well within reason.
Thinking for a moment or two, the blonde eventually raised her hand. "Professor, it could be used for storage." To keep magical items or school supplies or portraits and such. It seemed like a possibility, at least to Ella.
Jake looked around the room, a slight frown making a line on his forehead. So the room was just an extra room. Nothing special. Why were they in here, instead of in the classroom? And if the room was nothing special, why were they talking about it so much?
Raising his hand, he answered the next question. "Storage?" There was probably plenty of space around the castle to store things, but since this one was right off the Great Hall it might be convenient for some occasions. "You could probably have meetings here. For like, clubs and things."

Holy Kneazle, was it just her or had the Professor chuckled? Maybe she was hearing things. Yeah...maybe the room was actually bigger than it looked and there was someone further down chuckling for some unknown reason and the size of the room caused an echo....?
It was possible...wasn't it?
She figured it was so she just kinda stared over at him. Yeah. Nothing but staring and in fact she didn't break the stare until he admitted that it was just any other room. Seriously...? How much fun was that? There was nothing epic about a random extra room, no matter what meetings they held in here. She looked around at the walls again before attempting to answer his next question...which was kinda thought of because of her earlier theory about the room being bigger and having someone else in it.
"It could also be used for hiding, like when disaster hits Hogwarts--because it always does I'm guessing, then people can hide in here while the ones with all the knowledge in the world about magic can go be the heroes while the ones in here try not to die." Seemed logical, and yes man somewhere deep inside the room, she was now on to you. She knew you were there. Hiding would probably be easy enough.
