BoG Debate Committee Meeting and Planning Room
 

Minerva got her Owl that said she was accepted into the committee. This was exciting and she hurried to the room it said to meet in. With meeting some of the candidates over the summer with her internship, Minerva had some thoughts on how a debate should go. This was just another step in the interest her internship had brought to her.

Looking in the room she found she was the first to get there. Well that was alright, others would be there soon. She couldn't wait to see who else was involved in this group. Seeing the round table she decided to find a seat and pull out some parchment in case notes needed to be taken.

Oh. Committee. Meh.

Alice wasn't really sure why she was accepted. I mean, had anyone noticed that she was kind of AWFUL at everything but Quidditch? No? Okay. But she wanted a say in the debate, 'cause her gramps was in it, and she wanted him to do well. Anyways, as soon as she received the owl, she hurried there. The lioness seemed to have arrived on time, too, because barely anyone was there. She flopped into a chair-- ooh, itvwas a WHEELY one, she could swivel around loads, see?-- and stared at the other people.

So. Ahem. What exactly were they supposed to do?

Minerva looked up as two girls came into the room. One seemed to be causal about coming in, and the other.. well.. a bit extremely excited about being there. "Hello" She said with a smile. Pulling out her quill she laid it down on her parchment and then turned her chair looking at the room.

It was so business like. She looked at the names of the other people, some she knew others she did not. She wasn't the oldest on that list, right? Going into thought about some of the things she learned over the summer she looked up, "So are you both excited about being on the committee?"

Gemma walked in excitedly to the Situation Room...she had to giver herself a pat on the back for that one...very Muggle themed...seeing the students already coming in and introducing themselves to one another made her smile even bigger than usual. She had been a little worried that no one would want to help with this and that she would be stuck by herself planning the debate...but no some amazing students had come to save the day!

When she walked in, she walked to the biggest dry erase board and started writing out a list of things...she didn't announce herself so that the students could continue talking as she worked. The list was a simple to do list for the group.

Once she had the list written on the board, she wrote the number of days until the debate and circled so they could see that they had less than two months (IC, and two weeks OOC) to get everything put together.

She walked to her desk and picked up a pile of folders and then back to the circular table and walked around the circle, placing a folder at each chair. When she made it back to her chair, she stopped and focused on the committee members.

"Alright everyone, we have a lot to get planned and very little time to do it in. First I want to say thank you for applying and for accepting your position and for helping me out with this endeavor!" she said and then motioned towards the table. "Please come have a seat and we will get started with the planning process."

He knew ignoring the owl that was tapping on his window was a bad idea.

James glanced at his muggle watch for a moment - before remembering that it had stopped working - and rushed into the room where a few students and a professor were already heading towards a table to start the meeting.

"I'm sorry I'm late!" He said, a look of panic and worry in his face. "Did I miss anything?"

Please don't say yes. Please don't say yes.

Sarah had entered right before the muggle studies professor an was so excited at the layout. She fingered her name plaque, THIS WAS SO COOL and Sarah felt so important. She greeted the others, glad to see that there were more lions than any of the other houses, just proved that lions were more concientous towards their loyalty to Hogwarts. She was surprised when the owl had come, being that the suggestions she had offered would not really chose the good from the bad in Governers. Sarah was really responsible, organised and loyal so they had chosen right. OOOH. Spinning chairs, Sarah settled down on one and smiled at the others assembled -Alice, Mika, Minerva and Anya at least one representitive of each house... except Slytherin. Its a pity, she wished West would come, he was really clever and probably had a lot of ideas.
Sarah had noticed the professor come in and she watched as the professor wrote something on the board. Once the folder was placed in front of her, Sarah mouth 'thank you' and began to finger the folder. She was feeling so important.
Then the teacher started talking. Sarah was not taking down notes as she never needed too due to her memory- and besides her handwriting was so messy she would not be able to read it afterwards. Two more months that was both and long and short time. "I would be happy to help with whatever is required" especially being the Master of ceremonies, as she was never bothered when speaking in front of a crowd and oh, how she loved to talk. Yet perhaps there was a hierarchy in Hogwarts and that would go to an older person. "although, except on the refreshment side as I cannot stand domestic duties, although doing it the magical way would be easier yet still. Maybe we could get Kurumi, a former Gryffindor, last years Prefect, to make cookies she makes really good cookies.". Oh there was a Slytherin there. Very good, although she did not know him. It was a boy, the only male currently present.

The lioness rushed to the Muggle Studies room where they usually had their lessons in. She was told to be there to discuss about the debate thingy as she was chosen...yup, chosen as one of the committee members. That was actually weird enough that she suspected others had played a trick on her when she received that owl from the professor.

But anyway...she was late right for the meeting. Clutching her backpack, she looked at her watch clumsily as if all the books inside would fall out at any second. She really had no idea what they were doing today so she didn't prepare anything indeed. She pushed the door and stepped inside, realizing that there were couple of seats being taken around the table. Then she spotted one in the middle had her name engraved in it. Amazed by it, she greeted the professor with a big grin on her face. "Sorry professor, I am late." she replied apologetically. "I am really really really sorry." She took a slight bow and found a seat to fit in.

Gemma smiled at the students coming in late, "O don't worry about being late...no worries...I know you are all busy with your studies and other things...you have not missed anything important..." she glanced at her folder and opened it to the first page, "Since the majority of us are here, let's get this planning party started!"...she finished her statement with a flick of her arms and a tray of drinks levitated into the room and one landed in front of each person at the round table. Then she raised her right arm up a little bit and waited and then squashed up her face a little bit, "Well, I guess the cookies will find their way in here eventually..." she finished with a shrug of her shoulders.

She focused quickly back on her folder and then continued, "I have provided everyone with a copy of the basic plans for the Debate in Hogsmeade that the Headmistress and myself and a few other staff members have already reserved and put together...." she looked around the table making eye contact with each of them, "On December 13 (January 31-February 9 OOC), the school will be hosting a debate in Hogsmeade for the Board candidates." she got up with her folder in her hand and walked over to one of the blank dry erase boards and started writing down little notes about what she was saying.

"We have already reserved the main street area of Hogsmeade for the event. And to make it a little bit fun, our stage will actually be a dunking booth. Each candidate will be sitting on their own dunking booth and after they answer a question, the crowd will vote on how they felt about the answer. If they didn't like it, then someone is getting wet!" she said excitedly picturing one of the candidates in particular soaked and looking like a wet cat...o yes this could be fun.

She turned the page after making notes on the board and then walked to her original list on the first dry erase board, "Here's what I need from all of you...ya'll will be in charge of the planning and organizing of the actual debate. If you will look at this list and figure out which of these you would like to help with, then we can go from there..." she said pointing at her original list on the board.

"We need help planning the Decorations for the event, the Refreshments, the overall Agenda of the event, a list of ten to fifteen questions to ask the candidates, and a poster to advertise the event. We will vote on our two Master of Ceremonies in the coming weeks." she finished excitedly.

She picked up a red marker and then turned to the little group, "So, any volunteers? Once we get our mini committees set up then I'll let ya'll break up and go to planning!"

The fourth year got a letter about him being chosen as one of the BoG Debate committee. He never been in a committee before so this will be exciting, right?

But right now he's late. Late in the first meeting? Definitely not a good impression. Well done, Messer. The fourth year was running all the way from the Hufflepuff common room to the Muggle Studies classroom where they held the BoG Debate Committee Meeting. When he entered the classroom, Professor Cerulean was explaining to the other committee about what they need to do.
"I'm sorry I'm late, Professor." He won't lose any house points because of his lateness, right? Messer spotted a wooden block with his name on it. Cool! Now its not the perfect time to feel amaze by the wooden block! He quickly sat down on one of the empty chair.

Dunk booth. Cool.

Tiffany took a sip of the hot tea placed in front of her and listened to the instructions given by the professor. She was pretty amazed by the design of the booth indeed. It was terribly fun because people will be all getting wet that day, it was not hard for everyone else to imagine the picture. The Wizards' World was totally different from the muggle world where she originally should be living in. It was a lot more interesting, even for the politics.

Then she moved on talking about the preparation that they should start doing right now. The professor was right, better to prepare it earlier than doing it in a hurry. There were decorations, refreshments and planning on the agenda...it seemed like they had a lot of things to prepare. The lion inhaled and volunteered to help. "I can help with the refreshments thingy!"she exclaimed with a house of joy. "I mean...I can bake cookies and stuff like that." She beamed, she could bake a little, or she could ask Kurumi to teach her with that. She would love to help her little lion right?

"Or anything else. Only if you need my help,"she said, adding a smile.

Minerva sat listening to everyone and taking down notes, "Professor the master of ceremonies, is that the main person to talk at the debate? Should that be like the headmistress or even you being the adult here?" She tried to think of some of the election things she saw growing up as a child.

Then she looked at the rest of the list, she would love to do the decorations and things, but someone had said something about that. "I could lead the questions if you want. I did some interning at the prophet and we got to meet some of the people running for board spots." She got to hear some of the questions they asked as well, so this might help figure out what questions could be asked at the debate.

Alice could help with the FOOD. She was good with food, yep. "I can help with the refreshments, Professor, or possibly the questions." Would the questions thing be fair, though? Considering that she was the granddaughter of a candidate? Whatever. She'd still be okay with helping either mini-committee. She was good at asking awkward questions that threw people off, mhm. It would be useful in this situation, apparently.

Messer's eyes was glued to the list on the board. Well, he like food, the Hufflepuff about to pick that but after someone mentioned house elves he had a second thought. Then he heard Minnie told the Professor about her opinion on who should be the Master of Ceremonies.

Speaking of questions and opinion. He had a question for the Professor. Should he raise his hand like he did in class? Maybe he should. The fourth year raised his hand up. "I'm sorry, Professor, but I have question. How many people do you need for each of that?" he asked pointing at the list Professor Cerulean made on the board.

Oichi listened to everything going on at the exclusive committee for BoG Debate helpers. It all sounded so cool. Before she knew it, it was time to choose a more specific assignment. Oichi knew exactly what she wanted. Oichi raised her hand, "I would like to be a masters of ceremonies!", Oichi said excitedly, she was so happy she to go for a job right in the middle of the action and the dunking sounded interesting too.

As the students volunteered, she quickly made a list of each student on the board.

She stood back and glanced at the list and then turned and smiled at the boy...Messer...yes that was his name. She put the end of the marker in her mouth as he asked his question and as she was taking it out marked on her right hand. She squished up her nose at the red mark on her hand and then answered, "Well, I would like to have atleast two people to help with each item..." she said with a smile as she started rubbing her hands together trying to get the mark off. "So, where would you like to go?"


She smiled at the students as they mentioned wanting to be the MCs of the event. "Let's get our committees put together and start working on those and then we will vote on MCs in the coming weeks." she said with a smile...she always forgot that you had to repeat things to students.

Two people?

Hmm.. There're already two people in Refreshments and Questions. Where he'd like to go? Agenda? Nah. He's not really good with organizing things. Decorations sound fun. "I can help Mika with the decorations, Professor." His eyes went from Professor Cerulean to Mika and back to the Professor.

Sarah was happy to help, it did not matter to her, "I really do not mind, originally i thought questions yet that is because I do not know what agenda does. What does it do anyway?" Besides it would be cool to work with Anya and it would be cool to work with Alice and Minnie. "I will go whereever I am needed" she said. She still would not mind to be emcee, yet she was sure that the others who would want to do would be lions. So if the teacher wanted 2 or more per thing, agenda it would have to be.

Alice watched intently as the professor made a list of all the people in each committee and.. hey, wait, was she in two? Did that mean extra work? SIGH. No one really understood the concept of laziness, did they? It was a surprise that she was going this in the first, but extra work.. "Excuse me, Prof, but am I helping with both of those?" Did she have to? Was it necessary? She blinked a couple more times at Cerulean. Hard.

I mean, she could if needed. She would.

But.. effort.. meh.

"Oh okay, then decorations would be really fun too. I'll go for that.", Oichi relied with her hand held high.

She smiled and added the girls's names to the list.

Gemma smiled at the girl, "Let's put you under agenda."

She cocked her head to the side at the young woman...had she put the girl out by putting her down for both committees....that is what she had said....yes?....she smiled at the girl, "I guess, you can choose one...."




She glanced at the list and then at the students. "Alright, so let's get to planning...we have little time (one week OOC) to get everything put together..." she glanced at her folder and then at the students that were listed under each committee as she got to their list of duties.

"Okay, from Decorations, I need a list of what decorations you would like at the event from colors to placement. Also, if you would like to make a poster, we will need to get that approved ASAP and hung up in all of the Common Rooms."

She glanced at the refreshment members, "I'll need a list of what type of refreshments you want...from drinks to fingerish foods...are we going to do a punch or sodas or teas or butterbeers or what...are we going to do cookies or candy or mini sandwiches..." she said with a nod up and down.

"Agenda people, we need a plan for everything in detail...from introductions of the MC's, to important people to Board of Governor candidates, then to the question session then to thank yous and then to dunking the three losers." she said marking something off in her folder.

She moved on to the questions committee members, "We need three solid questions for each of the candidates to answer...they need to be strong questions and I need to have them approved ASAP." she let out a sigh of relief after barking out orders.

"And finally, I need names of the students whom would like to be the MC of the event and we start voting on those within the next couple of days (Sunday OOC)." she said throwing her hands in the air enthusiastically.

Minerva was thinking about things while others were talking when she heard Professor Cerulean talk again. Looking up she focused on what was needed to be done. "Professor, so these questions should be for all to answer, not any questions for just an individual?" She wanted to make sure she knew what questions to ask. She had a few in mind already and hoped they would be good. Looking at the list she figured out who she was working with.

Then the comment about the MC came about, she knew she heard others say about being interested. She figured it would be an adult. "So this MC would be a student. Is it someone on this committee or should it be an older student such as a prefect?" Minerva wanted to know all the facts before she put her opinion in on who it might be.

Jake! And Sarah! (And anyone else wanting to agenda-rize.)
 

Well decorations certainly seemed a lot easier then a agenda planning. Plus everyone would see them anyway. And it also seems that now is the time for throwing you're name out there for MC, awesome.
Oichi quickly raised her hand and responded, "I wanna put my name out there for a vote for MC." She then remembered just how badly she had messed up in receiving detention so early into term. She wondered where that might take the vote, ugh. She was gonna have to prove herself as a reformed student. This is gonna be fun.

After her offer of candadacy and contemplation for MC were through she went over to the tables put together that one team member designated for the decorations comittee. Once seated she looked toward her group and said, "How do you guys feel about multicolored streamers lining the ceiling?. She then noticed Amelia making some sort of face toward Messner was it? Hmmm. "Are you OK?", Oichi asked chuckling a little. She could tell to some degree what was going on, a girls first crush, such a confusing time and magical time, hee hee.

As soon he said he want to be in decorations team, Messer heard someone else want to be in there too. Was that mean there're three people in decorations team? And both of them are girls. Blink. Blink. Blink. Not that he has anything against girls but it just it'd be nice if there's another boy in their team. But since there're only three boys in the committee, himself, Anya's boyfriend and a Slytherin guy who he didn't know his name, its kinda possible. Then the Professor explained to them what they need to do for the BoG event.

From Decorations, I need a list of what decorations you would like at the event from colors to placement. Also, if you would like to make a poster, we will need to get that approved ASAP and hung up in all of the Common Rooms

He wrote this down on his notebook so he won't forgot what they need to do. As he finished writing it, he heard someone called his name. "Yes, and you're Mika, right?" Since Professor Cerulean wrote 'Mika' earlier on the board so that must be her nickname. And the other one name is....Messer glanced over the girl's wooden name-block. It said Oichi Paulidine. "Hai. I'm Messer and you're Oichi?" Or she prefer to be called by other name? Move tables? Oh right.

Now, lets get this started.

Multicolored streamers lining the ceiling? He really like her idea about streamers lining the ceiling. "I was thinking houses color for the streamers." You know, Black/Yellow, Blue/Bronze, Red/Gold, and Green/Silver. Since the debate was for Hogwarts Board of Governor Candidate so he thinks its fitting.

"Yes, I'm Oichi, and you're Messer. Cool name, nice to meet you. ", Oichi said holding out her hand to the boy. And the other girls name is Mika. Another cool name, awesomeness.
Oichi then heard that the boy seemed to like her idea and had a awesomely great idea of how to make it even better. "That sound so awesome dude, the house colors are perfect for the occassion. You are a true vissionary!!!".

Tiffany and any other refreshment people? ^^
 

Okay.

Refreshments.

EASY.

"COOKIES. And tea," Alice stated as she bounced over to where the other person who was helping with the snacks was sitting. "They'll make nice snacks, don't you think?" Because everyone loved cookies. And tea. Tea was like a warm, soothing hug for your insides. And cookies were the icing on top of the cake, food pun not intended.

And so she stared at the other girl and waited for a reply.

"Oh, and I'm Alice." In case she didn't know that already.

For Mcfiesty (Mika)

Woh, this girl, Mika is taking over the entire show. However her ideas were smart and practical. I did not think of any details like that.
"Wow, Mika is it? You have a great plan for just about anything this event may bring. But you are a little over the top but I can't fault a you for being smart, its awesome! As for posters, I think they are awesome. Maybe have one say, "Come One, Come All To The Most Awesome Debate in Hogwarts History, The BOG Debates in Diagon Alley.".

"Its nice to meet you too, Oichi" he shook her hand.

"Erm. Thanks." True vissionary? Him? Blink. All he did was just added something to her idea. Messer turned his attention from Oichi to Mika when the girl started talking. Wow. This girl talked really fast. He didn't even get a chance to write down what she's saying. Wait. Did she says Diagon Alley? "I thought this event going to be hold in Hogsmeade?" Didn't Professor Cerulean wrote Hogsmeade in her announcement when she's looking for students to be in this committee? He could swear that she wrote Hogsmeade not Diagon Alley. "And I don't think they will hold it outside." Maybe in one of the store in Hogsmeade like Three Broomstick or Hogs Head or Leaky Couldron if they hold it in Diagon Alley. "We should ask Professor Cerulean about where they gonna hold this event." So they will know what to do.

Primary colors from each houses? "Yeah I agree with your idea, Mika"

Poster? Yeah he didn't really know about this one. "Well, poster is a good idea." he said. "I'm not really good with making a poster." Or just painting and drawing in general. "But I'm willing to help if you girls decided to make it." he quickly added. Ohh. Yes, that's good idea. "Do you think we need to make a sitting arrangement?" If its a sitting event.

Agneda.. was not as fun as questions yet Sarah decided on the spot to make it fun. It was fun to organise too. Sarah's eyes sparkled as she thought of the awesome responsibilty.

"I would please like to put my name down for Emcee" Sarah said, knowing that she would probably not get chosen so she should not get her hopes up. After all she was only a third year and she was exactly the most popular student.

Sarah noticed Anya setting up shop, she was on the agenda too was she not? "Hey, Anya, my name is Sarah. I am also on the agenda comittee - what can I do to help?" Yes this girl seemed to like tobe in charge, just like Sarah, and as the other girl was older Sarah decided to play her cards well, she did not want to boss anyone around or to be bossy as apparently she used to and Sarah was hard at work at changing herself.

For Mcfiesty and Poolicious.

"Ah so it's Hogsmeade, not Diagon Alley that the event will be held in. That makes more sense. As for the Hogwarts Crest on the posters backrounds, I think that's a really cool idea Mika. But I am not sure about decorating the dunk tank. That is a bit much in my opinion.".

Anya smiled. "Hey Sarah." she greeted with a smile. And she already knew Anya's name. Convenient. "And you know Jake?" Hopefully. Otherwise the little lion wasn't good at paying attention to the House Leaders.

Anya thought for a second. "That sounds good to me. With the thank yous right before?" Or right after. Either made sense. "And someone has to decide who 'wins', right? I was thinking... after the Q&A, we'd do like... a break for the refreshments and then come back to do the thank yous and the dunking?" she suggested.

She looked between the two of them. Did that sound good to everyone else? Because she could right it on the list if it did. And then after they figured out the order, they should find out if they needed to write the entire program out. Like... with the introductions and everything.

*clings to you* It would just be you and me. ALONE :P
 

"Me," she chuckled as she raised her hand up in the air. She would try really hard if she could be one of the MCs but it was really up to the professor after all.

Tiffany nodded as the professor made clearer instructions on what ideas they should come up with for refreshments. They were going to decide on what they were going to make for the guests that day. That was easy. If you really have to pink the most difficult part of it, then it would probably be the part on baking them all and reaching a common consensus with Alice, her partner.

Moving her glance to the person who was jumping towards her, the lioness beamed at the word: Cookies. She loved cookies, almost as much as candies. "I guess we probably have the same taste. Clearly it's a good one,"she chuckled. "Cookies for sure but I guess there should also be some candies...for children and coffee for those who doesn't like tea that much." She looked at Alice with her famous pleading look. She is a little kid and she loves candies. She knew the best for them. That's why there should be candies, in case there were any kids.

"I knew. And I'm Tiff," she replied playfully, ready for a handshake. "Tiffany...to be exact."

Messer's eyes went from Oichi and Mika when the two girls were talking about the poster. Yeah. He didn't really know much about designing poster so he just leave it with the expert.

"Its okay." He chuckled. He understand her feeling about being nervous planning a decoration for this big event. The truth is Messer was kinda nervous too. "Yeah we should ask her." That'd make their job much more easier if they know whether this event is a sit down or standing party. "Anytime." That's the least he could do.

Dunk-Tanks? Why would they need to decorate dunk-tanks? Then he remembered that Professor Cerulean mentioned something about dunking the three losers. Messer was about to speak but Oichi preceded him.

Why would she thinks decorating Dunk-tank is too much? "I don't think its too much, Oichi." he said. "I mean we need dunk-tank for dunking the three loser, right?" Because the Professor said so. "I think a decorated dunk-tank would look nicer than a plain one. But maybe we should ask Professor Cerulean whether she allow us to decorate it or not."

Gemma wondered around the room eavesdropping on all of the planning over the days leading up to the debate. Finally, when the debate was about a week away (3 OOC Days), she made an announcement,

"Once you have some of your plans finalized, please bring me a copy of your plans so we can get them turned into the Headmistress to be approved..." she said encouragingly. "Also, we need to vote for whom we want to be our Master of Ceremonies,....it needs to be someone in our committee...any nominations?" she said excitedly.

Oichi would like if someone else would nominate her but she really did not think that was gonna happen. Thus she raised her hand and tried something a bit more bold. "If I may, I would like to nominate myself, Oichi Paulidine.". Sure some people might hate me for what I said to the divinations professor, but that's in the past, hopefully my fellow committee members can look past that.

Minerva looked up as the professor talked, she had some of her questions done and was going to see if Alice wasn't busy anymore and wanted to put any input on them. If not it was alright, she had a good grip on what she was doing. The question part wasn't that bad.

Oh the Master of Ceremonies, Minerva thought for a moment, she would love to do it and her announcing last term made her not afraid to talk infront of big groups, but she would never just nominate herself, no there is no way, but she did like the prefect idea as well. Putting up her hand, "Professer, I have to agree I like a prefect being the MC so I would like to second Jake."

Gemma added names to her list of nominees for MC's and then smiled at the girl..."Yes yes yes, I think coloring the water would be great...we can charm in though so it doesn't dye their skin a weird color...and I think that would be a great idea to do a pavillion..." she said excitedly.

She glanced around, "I still need plans for refreshments and the agenda..." she said glancing at the days until the debate less than a week (3 Days OOC).

Alice was extremely cognizant of the fact that people were saying her name. What? "I think two having two hosts is a good idea, Professor," she commented nonchalantly, shrugging her shoulders as she spoke. "I'd be okay with doing it if needed, as well, but I nominate Jake. He knows LOADS of big words." Yeah, the boy was like a dictionary, something that she didn't fully understand but wouldn't question anyway. "He's really good with talking and stuff. So, yeah. Jake. Cobbie. Prefect Keller." That guy over there, mhm.



"My taste is the best taste," Alice stated, beaming at the girl. This one liked cookies? AND tea? AND candy? Yes, they would get along nicely. "Mhm. Candy. Jelly slugs are the best candy." They were her favourite, and they were the most scrumptious things ever. Old people would like them, too, right? Nope, this girl didn't need to plead with her, she was for compromise if anything.

Yeah, no. Her way or the highway.

"Hey, Tiff. Nice to meet you." And she was rewarded with a beam.

A smile. Mika got one, too. "You can help if you want, mhm, we've already decided on cookies. And tea. And JELLY SLUGS." Which Mika owed her a ton of, by the way. 'Cause, you know, she had vomited all over Alice in Potions, and she deserved candy for her understanding and stuff. Obviously.

Jelly slugs are definitely one of the best candy but not quite the best. Actually it was just the fact that it was extremely hard for Tiffany to choose among all the wonderful candies. It was like choosing from her bunch of best friends. Very hard, after all.

"Okayyyy, so I guess we shall be working on tea, cookies and jelly slugs then!"she gave Alice a big grin in return and held her hand in the air, ready to receive a hyper high-five from her. Four things shall be enough. And it seemed like they had got a helper. "Haiii, I'm Tiffany. You are very welcome to help us if you want,"she greeted happily, addressing the girl standing in front of them.

After having agreed on those things, she turned back to Alice and asked by looking into her eyes. "So I guess we should tell the professor about this, shall we?" She raised her eyebrows. It was actually not that hard to reach a consensus with Alice though because they seemed to have the common taste and she was sure that they were going to get along pretty well. Or...brilliantly.

She glanced at the committee's agenda..." that would work great! I'll put together a script for the MCs from your list."

She smiled at everyone and tallied up the votes, "It looks like Jake, Amelia, and Alice have it. I'll put together a script for ya'll to follow for the event." she said with a smile.

OOC: Okey dokey I'm combining all of your ideas into our thread descriptions. The actual thread will open tomorrow and our debate will start on Friday. We chose three mcs so that no matter what time zone we can keep the event rolling. Thanks everyone, feel free to keep rping in here!

Minerva listened as the MC's were announced, well those seemed like good choices. No one really knew her other then Mess in the room so she didn't expect to get any nominations and that was alright. Staying behind the desk was just as fun. Standing up she walked over to the professor. "Professor, I've been working on questions. I have a few right here for you." Handing over the parchment she smiled, "If these don't work then let me know I can think of some more if needed."



She knew that last one was more for her old professor, but ever since seeing those two together that questions popped into her head.
