Middle Cars It's not quite the front, but not quite the back either. Find a seat in the middle cars and be close to all the action. |
Open to anyone who'd like to RP with me :) Ezra's day had seemed quite a mess. At first, he had thought he showed up late. Then he ended up having trouble crossing over the wall of 9 and 10, now that was a mind-struggle. He did happen to find Elle, and they had a good little chat, but then Bugaboo was misplaced onto another boy's luggage, and the conversations there where.. well.. a little awkward. But his day was only getting started! Ezra placed the bigger bags in the cubbie under the train, then stepped aboard with his messenger bag and fruit bat Bugaboo, who was perched on his shoulder. Was he one of the first students on board? Walking down the isles of cars, most of them where empty. Only a couple students here an there, all sitting alone. Ezzi found the middle cars, deciding on the empty one on the left. The door slid open and he stepped in, Bugaboo jumping off Ezra's shoulder to settle himself on the back of one of the velvet chairs. Ezzi pulled out a book and pen before shoving his bag in the compartment above his head, and sat in the seat across from Bugaboo. Good time to catch up on his poetry. |
For anyone! :) Annnd it was that time of the year again. Time for the train ride to Hogwarts. Only, this was going to be Emmanuelle's final ride, since this was her seventh year and all. She knew most of her fellow seventh years were probably sad right now, but she felt excited. She just had a feeling that this year was going to be incredibly interesting, seeing as they had a new Headmistress. Yep, definitely interesting. Hopefully, the new Headmistress would be nice and friendly, instead of mean or aloof. Seriously, an aloof Head would probably be the worst thing for the school. Anyway, making her way into an empty compartment, Emmanuelle stuffed her trunks up into the overhead compartment. Sitting down, she opened her carry on and pulled out a box. She opened the box and popped a piece of whatever what was inside in her mouth before relaxing back into her seat with a grin. After a few minutes, she decided that she had to much of the stuff for one person. Call it a charitable feeling brought on by the good mood from knowing this was going to be her last train ride. 'Cause normally she would guard fudge with her life. Especially her grandmother's Swiss chocolate fudge. Anyway, she grabbed a Sharpie and a fresh sheet of parchment, made a Quote:

She walked along the middle cars, spotting a boy by himself in one of the compartments. Hmm...she'd never seen him before. Time to make a new frieeeeend! She slid open the door and smiled at him, clearing her throat a bit to get his attention. "Can I join you?" she asked. |
Text Cut: Emmanuelle She wasn't sure when she had gotten here but somehow she was now just outside the middle of the train...hm...so far so good. She had made it this far down the train without creating any mischief and she was feeling so confident that she could already start smelling the faint hint of chocolate--wait...she couldn't actually smell chocolate...or something with some chocolate in it. Boy, her wishful thinking had been very creative in the past but never in her wildest fantasy did she ever actually managed to make something she desperately wanted appear real! She should hone this skill then use it whenever she was feeling deprived. She would have kept walking but then a sign caught her attention. Quote:
"Are you really giving away fudge?!" That would have been beyond awesome if she was! Lex herself would never have given away anything that had even the smallest trace of chocolate..this girl was a saint.... |
for Harry174 and any others who wish to join this Weirdfest Oakey passed down a few empty compartments until he came to one he figured was good enough. Pushing his luggage in he sat down, without bothering to load his things above him. This will be the first year Valentine will stay home before he flies to Hogwarts on his own, Aegis said he he wanted to keep valentine home for the sake of owling Mr.Merdog before anything. Oakey didn't even think Aegis took a liking to the former Groundskeeper, not like he did. At least Charmer slept peacefully in his crate, like the good little black cat he was. Oakey figured now was good a time as any to take his mind off what had happened outside on the Platform. Jarvis being a Muggle tricks obsessed fool, and Sophie's (and her father's) evil glares. Before he went to sleep Oakey went over to the compartment door and opened it slightly, just in case the food trolley passe him by or if anyone |

Baguette and Nomsy Anya grinned excitedly as she practically raced up the hall. Yeah... she was a little bit excited. And for good reason too! She hobbled along with her owl cage in one hand, her broom in the other, and dragging her trunk. Heh. It was a shame that they didn't have people to put their things on the train like they did to have people take their things off the train. "It's empty in here Penelope." she said turning to look at her friend and fellow housemate. "Is in here good?" Hopefully. Because she was tired of pulling all her things around. |

With her cat Spot perched on her shoulder, Penelope followed Anya down the corridor, hoping they'd find a compartment soon - and they did. |

Oh hey it was his Bowling Teamie, Emmaleigh. He greeted her with a nice smile and then turned his attention back down to the girl on the floor. He didn't see the pushing happen, but stood up as well to make sure the girl was alright. "I'm sure it was an accident", Oakey started at first. "You're knee was only scrapped a little do you want me to make some bandages?" He looked at Em who had placed her arm on the girls shoulder. "Ferula" Oakey said as he removed his wand from it's holster. The bandages streamed out of Oakey's wand for only a moment, enough just to wrap around a knee too. When the bandages stopped he picked them up and held them out to Em. "Here, you get them on her." |
Baguette and Amy Lamey :) I'm too lazy to quote both of you. Bounce. Bounce-y bounce bounce. Alice Fischer BOUNCED into the the train and into a conpartment. Frank, her pet chcolate frog, was BOUNCING on her head, but Domino wasn't anywhere to be found. He had stayed home with her Grandpa, so that he could write to his Ministry people. But he could visit Hogwarts anytime she wanted, so it was okay. The third year was excited. She was going to be back at Hogwarts. Which meant that everything would be okay. Because she was going home. Hence the bouncing. The Gryffindor stuffed her trunk into the overhead compartment, and turned around to face her company for the rest of the long journey to school. Alice was surprised to see two people she already knew, Anya and Penelope. She rather liked them, because she didn't have any mates in her house, so it was always good to make some. "HAI. Do you guys mind if I sit here?" |

"Some bandages would be very nice.. thank you" she said while he took out his wand. She looked down at her knee, even though it was just a scrape she hated the sight. "Ewwwwwww..." she couldn't help but saying out loud. "You two are very nice, thank you for helping me... even though I kind of popped in." she said while slowly lifting her body up onto the seat, trying to keep her knee straight. |

Emmaleigh gave the smaller girl a little side hug the try to calm her down a bit. She was relieved when the girl turned her attention to her owl. It meant she was getting her mind off of it. Though, at the sight of the owl, the readhead was a little concerned for it. Why was it purple? But when Oakey mentioned bandages, she turned to dig through her messanger bag. “I’ve got some,” she said as she watched her floor buddy bandage the girl up. Helping the girl get into a seat, Em popped back into the corridor and dragged in her trunk. “Here, prop your leg up on this.” She said, patting the top of her old trunk. At the girl’s comment, Emmaleigh laughed. “Your very welcome.” Pointing to the boy across from them, “You wanna know how we met? I tripped, and Oakey fell right on top of me. Very awkward, but your in good company.” |
Baguette, Amyluff, and Lemon! *dies* Hogwarts! Jake was on the train, on his way to Hogwarts, and he couldn't be happier. He hadn't expected this when he was forced to leave Durmstrang, but now he couldn't believe he'd ever been upset about that. He had a faint smile on his face as he wandered through the train, trying to find someone he knew. Which... was difficult, considering he didn't know many people. Thankfully, about halfway down the train he saw a few people that he definitely did know. "Hey," he called, grinning automatically when he saw the three girls standing together. His trunk clunked noisily behind him as he quickened his pace. Reaching the three girls, he dropped his trunk and gave Anya a hug. Then, pulling away with the grin still plastered on his face, he hugged Penelope. Then Alice. Because he was in a hugging mood and happy. "Do you guys have this compartment?" Could he join? he needed to talk to Anya, anyway. |
Text Cut: Lex :) Her head popped up off it's resting place on the back of her seat when one very eager seeming almost first year burst in. Normally, this would bug Emmanuelle, but she was in such a good mood that she let it slip. Chocolate did that, after all. "If the sign says it, it must be true," she replied, holding the box out. "Want some? It's chocolate fudge, made with genuine Swiss chocolate." The best in her opinion. Nobody could make chocolate like the Swiss. Although, the Germans came close.... |
Text Cut: Emm It probably wasn't possible but the smile on her face grew wider at the girl's confirmation. This was all going just perfectly--more sweets...er...not that she had a problem or anything....she could stop whenever she wanted to... She just didn't want to. In fact at the moment she was on a sugar high that wouldn't seem to die down and that only meant one thing--she needed more sugar! "Oh neat! That's so nice of you!" She put Felix on the seat then scooted onto it as well before taking one of the fudge...fudges...fudge? Right well she took one of those things and gobbled it faster than she had expected to doing that. "Uhh..." That was probably very bad manners...but that didn't excuse the fact that it tasted sooooo amazing!!! She wanted to ask for another one, but she shouldn't have been greedy or maybe the girl would get annoyed at her...to ask or not to ask? Her eyes kept drifting to the box as she debated that internally. The chocolate was calling her name ever so sweetly... |
Whit <33 O-UCHHH. Don't ask why, but Theo skipped into a middle compartment with such force, that he got his foot caught... on the floor. He tripped, but didn't quite fall over. But he was fine, no head injury, no concussion. His foot just hurt like crazy. "Oh me gawd. Theodore, you just broke your own foot." OOOOoooooooooh hell no. Trying to act like a real hero, like he was famously known, Theo took a seat on the couch and rested his foot on the other one. He took a few breaths and sighed. How was he to survive at Hogwarts with a broken foot? It wasn't broken, maybe a little scratch. Lalalalaaa... nothing to see here. |
We see the fudge compartment, too. :P (posting for Amanda and maybe Whit?) Text Cut: from King’s Cross, for reference Before she'd been able to respond to any of the several conversations she'd been having with Patrick, Kendall had caught a signal from Jeremiah out of the corner of her eye. Time to get on the train, or they'd end up missing it and have to figure out another way to get to Hogwarts. The truffles wouldn't really help with that, so after she'd shoved his superhero description in her pocket, she'd momentarily grabbed Patrick's hand to drag him, and his bag full of chocolate, onto the train. Sending her brother a wave as she passed him, then glancing down to make sure Accio had gotten on with them. her cat was there, so Jeremiah mus'tve picked him up to get him there. She didn't think he could have jumped up onto the step by himself, since the kitty was still practically a baby. Not a year old yet, at least, or maybe barely a year old. Either way, she just hoped her pet would follow them, as she kept dragging her friend down the corridor until she found her trunk. At that point, she finally dropped his hand and grinned. "Sorry. But we needed to get on the train, right?," she said, eyeing the box of truffles again and taking another couple of them. "Maybe the coffee-flavored chocolate was missing something 'cause you didn't drink the coffee before. It tasted good to me, and you really can bend rules more than you think. Even a superhero should know that," she practically babbled, grabbing her trunk and dragging it back into the corridor. She wasn't about to let the topics die just because they'd started looking for somewhere to settle in to continue their experiment. She hadn't missed his list of everything that he had in his bag besides her boxes, either. That topic had gotten filed away as she'd popped one of the next round of truffles into her mouth, however. She'd bring it up once she'd stowed her trunk again and asked for her stuff back again, and her hazel eyes had scanned the compartments they passed until she'd found one near the middle. Not far from one that had had a sign posted about fudge being inside, but she didn't investigate. They had their truffles to eat, and she hoped patrick had lots more. Maybe even another box, because she really wanted to test her hyperness. That was what made being in the middle better, because it gave more space if they really started bouncing off the walls. They could travel further than if they'd stayed near either end, since they could just bounce down the corridors. If that became necessary, and she ate the second truffle as she tried to lift her trunk into the luggage thingy. It was really heavy. She managed it somehow, though, her hair darkening slightly as she'd focused. Not quite all the way to black, and her pink streaks still survived until everything went back to the normal auburn, and she'd turned back to her friend. "I wonder if the healer came on the train with us. Well, that boy," she mused, reaching a hand out for even more truffles as she spoke. "I wonder if they're related." |
anyone who wants to join me???? =3 *bounces* The train has arrived.... THE TRAIN HAS FINALLY ARRIVED. Of course, Juliet is as excited as everyone is... Well, she's EXTRA excited considering she will now embark a new life at Hogwarts, possibly meet new and awesome people and do new stuffs. She's more excited with this train ride rather than her previous school. She's very biased with Hogwarts. Making her way to the compartments, she found an empty compartment. Smiling she opened the sliding door opened and took a seat near the window. She's loving the view from here. And she's just overly excited, that she can't even explain to words how excited she is right now. |

Now that his arms were sore from dragging his trunk, James finally pulled open a compartment door to see Anya, Penelope, Alice-- And Jake. Oh fun. "Hey Alice, Penelope, Anya" he greeted, smiling wide. "And...hey,Jake" he said, his voice lowered, but he still wanted to be polite. He sat down at a spot near no other people, across from everyone. "So...how have you all been?" he asked quietly as he rubbed his sore arms. |

Anyway, the second year was determined to be a brighter kid than the one she was last year. How she was going to be less clueless? She actually had no idea about it but she was going o try and figure it out. Finally, standing at the door of a compartment that was only occupied by one girl. Cassia entered still grinning, though she tried to increase the grinning thing but failed, she nodded at the girl trying to look all big and composed person now that she was a second year and all. Not sure if that nod worked, "Hi mind if I join you," She said to the girl taking a seat across the girl. Well, she didn't wait for the girl to respond but she guessed that why would the girl say no! Resting her bag beside her, Cassia straightened and started to swing her short legs back and forth above the floor. She stopped suddenly remembering that was an act that to firsties so she needed to quit it! |
