"Glad to hear it, it's not everyday you come across two students collapsed in the middle of the corridor!" he joked. ''I'm Oscar, by the way.'' Oscar stood in front of the two friends awkwardly, unsure of whether he should stay or move on and find something else to occupy him. He wait for one of the girls to make the next move. The second girl - Nettie, was it? - seemed comfortable talking to him, but still, you could never tell with girl!

Nettie shrugged her shoulders, "Nope, we were pretending to be super heroes." Nettie told the boy. Sure that was pretty childish, but they were still firsties, and weren't they supposed to act childish?

"It's nice to meet you Oscar!" Nettie smiled up at him, times like this made it difficult for being such a short child for her age, she always had to look up at whoever she was speaking to. "You know, you look familiar. Are you in Hufflepuff?" She asked him, she might have seen him in passing through the common room or in the Great Hall.

Allie stood there, slowly starting to feel more comfortable with meeting a new student. She hadn't really met anyone other than her professors, Nettie and a couple other people from her house. That was basically it though, maybe it was not having many friends yet at Hogwarts was making her nervous about meeting new people. "Hello Oscar." She said a bit quietly. "I got lost." She explained, though that didn't really explain all of the super hero talk.

Allie couldn't help but continue to smile as Nettie explained to Oscar about pretending to be super heroes. There was a reason why Nettie was fun to be around, and pretending to be super heroes was just the newest thing.

Being in Slytherin, Allie was most positive she hadn't seen Oscar before. If she had, it was probably in the corridors during the time she was trying to make it through the crowds of students to her next class. She stood there, watching the two converse, at least Nettie kind of knew Oscar.

Pam wasn't really sure where she was going. It was a sunday, which meant no classes. But she hadn't made any plans. So she wondered around the school, and ended up in the third floor corridor. She was hoping she could find a friendly face to talk to. Maybe an old friend. She wasn't really sure if she had any old friends. She remembered having some friends during her first term, but that was years ago. Now she was a third year, and seemed to only have three friends. Her goal for most of her second and third term was to make friends. But instead, she ended up keeping to herself.

Harvey was just on the walkabout.. wandering around school.. just to get away from all the classes and things.. so there he was walking along the third floor corridor.. when he walked someone by and gave her a quick glance.. he then stopped in his tracks and turned around to get a better look at the girl that he had passed by.. he looked and saw that it was his friend Pam.. man they hadnt seen each other in what seemed like years!! he went upto her "Pam? that you? How are you?" he asked as he looked at her .. yeah that definitely looked like Pam.. he wondered what she was doing here.

She watched as the familiar man walked by. When she turned around, she realized it was Harvey! "Harvey! Hi, i'm doing pretty well. How about you?" She really hadn't seen him in ages. The last place she really remembered him was at the tree house party he threw. It was a lot of fun. Probably the last time she had that much fun. She wished she could do something like that again.

Harvey chuckled "I am doing good.. wow! its been so long since we saw each other.. if memory serves me correct.. it was that party at the end of our first year! wow!! so much time has passed.. what have you been upto?" he asked.. man! in that whole year so much had happened.. in terms of him having girlfriends.. he couldnt believe that a whole year must have passed by and they hadnt seen each other despite being in the same house together.

Pam sighed. What had gone on in the past year? Everything? She debated on weither or not he should tell him about his family, and she decided it couldn't hurt. As long as she spared the details. "Well, I don't have any parents. They burned down with my house." That was such a mood killer. But she wasn't going to hide it. She really had no parents, and it felt like her fault. "Let's see, no boyfriends, not really any new friends. Although i did become good friends with a Gryffie named Jordan. Other then that, I've only been working on my photography." It was true, she wanted to be a famos photgrapher. Maybe for the Daily Prophet. That was one of her dreams. "How about you? Got any exciting news?"

Harvey was shocked to hear of her news "Oh Pam! I am so sorry to hear that" why did it seem like that was everyone's story these days.. whoever he spoke to had either lost parents or had to move away from them that was so strange.. he continued listening as she spoke to him.. "Well you dont need new ones when you still have old ones" he smiled "But I am glad that you are good friends with Jordan." he then listened to her question.. anything exciting? "Er.. nothing much exciting my end.. except Ameliah.. my girlfriend.. she is in our house.. second year" he said.. it seemed after having had 3 in the past.. he went for a 4th.. Ameliah McIntyre.

The name Ameliah didn't really ring any bells, but she sounded familiar. "I think I've seen her around the commons." She was probably the girl who hung around Harvey the most. She seemed nice. "She treating you nice and all?" That was always Pam's biggest concern with relationships. If the other person wasn't treating their loved one right, they shouldn't be in a relationship in the first place. But if they were happy, Pam was happy.

Harvey nodded "Yeah.. yeah you might have seen her around the common room. " he smiled "Yeah she is.. but you know with school getting us busy.. we find it hard to hang out sometimes.. every 2 weeks or something is how often we hang out. But thats normal with school giving us all this work" he looked at Pam "But maybe you and I could hang out more as well.. thats if you arent to busy working.. maybe catch up" he said.. she was his friend and they hadnt hung out in a long time and had a laugh.. so this was well overdue.

She didn't do much school work as is, so hanging out wouldn't be much of a problem. "Any time you want. I would love to hang out. I need some time to just laugh." She really did. She never really got to laugh any more. She needed a break. "I'm sure you'd love a break from whatever drama you have." Everyone has drama. And everyone needs to be able to take a break.
She walked over to the wall, and leaned on the window ledge, looking out at the setting sun. "The sunset's so beautiful." She said with a gazed look in her eyes.

Harvey smiled "Yeah I think with all this work and school stuff that everyone has forgotten how to laugh or something.. or maybe they just need a reason to laugh" he smiled as he said this "Well there was a bit of drama that has been solved now.. but yes I agree everyone needs a break from it" he said as he watched her look out at the setting sun.. he also looked at it "Yes it is.. another day has ended.. and soon another will begin" he smiled as he continued looking at the sunset.

Okay. So Indy figured that just going to the headmaster might not help get the observatory open. They needed to get other students to like their cause too. This was why she was wondering through the third floor with a copy of her banner. She was gonna stick it up, so that everyone would be able to see. She wasn't too sure how good she was the sticking charm though, so she had brought some blu tac. So that she could pin it up on the wall. Hmm.

Ahh. There was a space. Indy looked around the corridor, before she leant up and stuck her banner up on to the wall. Hmm. That looked good. Indy stepped back to look at her work. Hmm. It looked good, and lots of people would see it when the came past. Perfect. Indy grinned to herself, and skipped out o fthe corridor. So that you know. She could be gone before anyone decided to shout at her.

"That's really poetic." He was right though. A new day was coming. Who knows what that day will bring. Mainly school work, but maybe something else. "Don't you think we should be getting back?" She asked, turning to look at him. But she just laughed, and sat down with her back against the wall. "Nah, It's much more fun out here." Quite frankly, she was just afraid to sleep. She didn't want the nightmares to come. She found that the best way to stop the nightmares, was to not sleep. So she tried to put it off as long as she could.

He looked at her "Poetic? Nah it cant be.. I have never been good with that sort of stuff" he smiled yeah.. he had written a few poems and stuff in his first year.. and that never did turn out too good.. it must have pushed her away even more.. he shouldnt have done that.. stupid of him to think they had reached that stage. He watched as she sat down.. and he sat next to her "Well I always thought that being around me was fun.. well thats what I have been told anyways.. who knows if they were telling the truth or not" he chuckled "Feels good to hang out with old friends again.. what do you say Pam.. you agree?" he asked.. yup. here he was hanging out with old friends again.. after what seemed like a long time that he hadnt seen them.

She nodded. "You're a lot of fun to be around. I remember, back in our first year, when we were hanging out by the Whomping Willow. That was so much fun." It was a long time ago, but she still remembered. They started playing in the melting snow. Using what was left to make snowballs and throw them at eachother. "It's nice to hang out with you. Gives me a break from my chaotic life." Which was true. She needed time to just sit back and take a breather. She was sure to be on the run this summer, with them not having a house and all. So she planned on resting as much as she could this term.

He smiled "Well its good that you do find hanging out with me fun.. Oh yes ... yes I remember that! yes it was fun. " yup that had been the best year out of all the years he had been here.. yeah it had its drama.. but the amount of fun he had that year he hadnt that much fun since. He nodded "Yeah I agree with you on that.. life has become quite chaotic.. yeah.. time to just sit here and hang out.. time to forget that life is so chaotic" he smiled.. yeah he just wanted to sit here and relax.. and do nothing else.. throw away all the stresses of life at the moment.. just to make him feel a little less burdened.

Pam pulled out her wand, and twirled it around in her fingers. She loved magic almost as much as she did photography. But it got her into trouble. Her and her three best friends. "Wingardium Leviosa." She whispered, pointing her wand towards a small pebble on the ground. It lifted into the air, hovering for a moment. Pam wasn't really sure what to do with it. So she waved her wand behind her, and the rock went flying out the window. "I don't really know why I did that." She said with a small chuckle. "That could have hit someone." Her eyes widened as she said this. She quickly turned and looked out the window. Thankfully no one was down there. Sitting back down she said, "Ok, no. We're good."

He watched her twirl her wand before she levitated a rock out the window and then regret it the next moment.. he wathced as she looked out the window to make sure that she hadnt hurt anyone with the rock "Well glad you didnt hit anyone" he said to her as she sat back down "I guess I gotta be careful maybe next time you would throw something at me when I am not looking" he said chuckling.. yeah next time she might throw a snowball at him or something or even worse a stink bomb. "And we dont want that now.. do we? having things thrown at us" he chuckled once again.. nope they wouldnt.

"No, we wouldn't want that." She said with a sly smile. Winter was coming up. Plenty of opportunity to get him with some snow. But for now, she would have to wait. "I wish things could go back to the way they were in our first years. We had so much fun." She remembered the fun she had. It was the most fun she had had ever. "We should have more fun like that." she turned to look at him. "Let's do something fun." The adventure was in her eyes. If dangerous had a color, her eyes would definetly be that color.

He smiled.. but then saw her smile.. and that didnt look like a smile that he would like.. he wondered what that smile meant. He nodded "Yeah I wish that too! it had been so much fun.. " yeah there was no disagreeing with that.. everything had seemed so good back then.. everyone was hanging out with each other as a group.. and having so much fun. He then looked at her.. fun? "Yeah we should!! do something fun? Like what?" he questioned eagerly.. yeah he was up for some fun.. he wondered what she had in mind.. time to make this third year a good one rather than a boring one.. yes fun! thats what they were going to do!

She wondered for a moment. "I'm not sure. I just need something fun to do. I guess, I shouldn't be saying that, because my whole summer has been about adventure." She spent half of it on the run, and the other half waiting for death. Which almost came a few times. But it came to others. To friends, and family. She had more adventure in her past two years then many had in their lifetime. "To be honest, I just like sitting here, talking with you." It was nice to be able to talk to someone who didn't really know anything about her life. All Harvey knew was that she was a fun person to be around. Everyone else knew her as either a target or a run away.

He watched as she wondered "Adventure? yeah sounds like the summer after my first year.. that was all about adventure.. but after that.. not so much" he smiled.. yeah.. being on the run with friends was tough.. but at least he had been with friends.. and then he and Mins had.. again.. but that was the past.. and now he had to look to the future like Mins had told him to. "You do? is that fun enough for you? and I keep thinking that I am boring" he chuckled.. he often wondered why people wanted to hang out with him.. he didnt think that he was fun to hang out with .. he was just a normal boy.

Super heroes? Oscar tried to remember what he had been like in first year. Lazy, and constantly in trouble. Though, the girls did seem to be enjoying themselves.

"You too. Yeah I am, I'm in fourth year." He looked at Nettie again trying to determine whether recognized her or not. "I think I've seen you around." Oscar usually lived in his own world, but felt it would be impolite to mention this. He was a loner by choice, not by default, but this year he had decided to make a change.


Oscar smiled at Allie. He was always lost when he first came to Hogwarts. Even now he still found himself discovering new short-cuts and passageways from time to time. "I know that feeling." he grinned. "What house are you in Allie?" he asked.Whatever about possibly seeing Nettie, Allie was a total stranger to him. Slowly he could see her becoming more comfortable as he continued to talk to the two girls.
