Laura looked at Sophie and continued to tickle her. "What do you mean, I don't need too." Laura giggled. "Come on and spill the beans, we have." Laura smiled. "Oh and next summer we are seriously going to have to have a sleep over at my house I think it would be soo fun." Laura would love to have Sophie, Ella and Carigan over it would be mental though and probably very noisy.

Sophie nodded at Ella's words. It WAS very very wrong what Logan had done. But forgiving was the right thing to do, she guessed. Evil aunt? Waaait, nooo! "But even if they're best friends and all, he should NOT have kissed her! I mean, weren't you dating or something??" Like, HELLO-OOO!!! "And best friends don't go around kissing each other. If they ever do that, it means they're not just best friends anymore!" Right? It made perfect sense in Sophie's head. "Yeah, it was very, very stupid!" She still couldn't believe someone as young as him to go around kissing girls in first place... that sounded creepy... but Sophie wouldn't mention it, since Ella had been one of the girls that he kissed too and stuff... "Oh, he said he didn't want to stop being your 'friend'..." Like, they weren't boyfriend and girlfriend anymore then? But... that evil aunt of his was really evil! "I guess it's okay to owl as friends... why do you think she locks him up home??"

Back to Harvey! "Weird?? Weird how??" Sophie asked looking at her friend. "Yeah, boys ARE veeeeeeeeeeery confusing!!" She totally agreed about that... especially after the few events that happened involving Sophie herself and some crazy, older boys. Boys were definitely mental. "But they're cool at the same time. How's that even possible??" She wondered out loud. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??? Harvey had a girlfriend?? Why did Ella always went for the most complicated guys? "Oh my goodness, Ella! That IS really confusing!" And it DID make it all worse! Sophie didn't have a clue of what to say. She had no idea about boys and their crazy behaviour.

"Y-you don't nnn-eeeheeheed to ti-tickle me!!" Sophie managed to say between her laughter.

Though that sounded like a great idea! The sleep over thing, that is.

Ella frowned. She knew everything Sophie was saying was completely true. Best friends didn't kiss without it meaning anything...kissing always meant something, didn't it? I mean you don't just go around kissing strangers! That would be crazy! Kissing meant something more than just a friendly act between two people. As for the dating..."I don't know if it was dating? I mean I guess it was but like...the whole concept of dating is so weirddd! It makes things far too complicated!" Seriously?! What kind of loon invented 'dating' anyway? The whole concept seemed a bit ridiculous. People who like each other shouldn't need some special label to prove it. They should just like, share ice cream and secrets and maybe hold hands...maybe. What she had experienced with Logan...well that had been WAY beyond her maturity level. She shrugged about the aunt bit. Who knew why crazy people were crazy...they just were. "I think... she must have been dropped on her head as a child." Ella said seriously, shaking her head. Yup! That was her very scientific conclusion.

And then the Harvey talk...NO BLUSHING! Seriously, Ella did not want to blush while having this convo. How was it weird between her and Harvey? Oh Sophie, let me count the ways. "Well firstly, you don't just go around blushing like Ms. Blushy McBlusherson around your friends, right? And then sometimes he'll just smile at me for no reason...Like I won't even say anything and he's just smiling at me...weird, right?" The smiling was seriously killing Ella. She was really thinking of suggesting that Harvey wear a paper bag over his head so she didn't have to see that smile so often. But then Sophie was agreeing with her. Boys were confusing! It was decided then, yeah? "And what boys have been confusing you, huh?" The second year asked with a smile, eyebrows raised. NOT that she was avoiding the Harvey topic or anything...And boys being cool. Well that was a good point. They could be cool...sometimes. "I guess they are kind of fun to have around...you know to tease and stuff. And they give good hugs. And they're just plain funny to watch!" Seriously, Ella could do some serious writing on all the weird things boys did.

The second year didn't mind that Sophie didn't have any quick fix for the Harvey situation. Honestly, she was just planning on ignoring the fact that she MAYBE SORTA KINDA liked him A LITTLE. "It is confusing. Why did it have to get confusing? Being friends with boys used to just be normal..." And now it was all complicated and made Ella's head hurt.



Ella clapped as Laura continued to tickle Sophie. "That's right, Sophie! It's your turn!!!" So spill the beans, woman! As for the idea of sleep overs, Ella bounced a bit on her bed, excited. "That's a brilliant idea. I'm in! And they'll be sweets and ice cream, yeah?" Cause if not, Ella would bring some! So they wouldn't like-starve or something!

Evelyn hesitated. Kate was kind enough to ask her if things were alright.. "It's just family problems." Which were getting worse each day. She didn't even know her parents were being so difficult..so what if she didn't want to give up magic? Besides, she was moving out once she graduated so why did they have to owl her and remind her why she was such a big disappointment? She rubbed her forehead and gave a quiet sigh. It had been a long day..and she was starting to get a headache.

"Well, that's nice." Evelyn smiled. See? That was family. To want their kid to be with them..instead of wanting to be their kid to be as far away from them as possible. She settled more comfortably on her bed before she continued, "So..do you like it here?" What wasn't to like? But, it was only polite to ask.

"He graduated the previous term." Evelyn added. She was pretty sure her face was still red..talking about Trey never failed to make her blush.

Amy didn't even need to look up from her corner, where she was sitting cross legged with a heavy History of Magic revision book placed strategically on her legs, with Queeny sitting precariously on her shoulder. She looked like a slightly confused pirate, or at least, that was what she was telling herself so as to not feel idiotic. Except she still felt idiotic. Rolling her eyes at the large thumps that were echoing through the room, Amy raised an arm to pull her hair off her face, so it fell over her back like a waterfall. "Sammy" Amy began sarcastically, shooting a look at her friend "is it necessary to sound like King Kong?".

The answer was no. NEWTs were coming up in like a month and they all needed to revise. Amy needed the grades to get the place and if that meant having no life, then that was it. "I should probably add that you need to start revising" she added, eyes following Sammy who was now spread eagle on the bed. "As in, you need to get off tumblr and open a book"

She didn't intend to be boring, but as far as Amy was concerned, a month of hard cramming and then a summer of partying, or crap grades and a life of work at McDonalds. She knew which one she was picking

Laura looked at Sophie whilst Ella was talking, seriously Sophie was acting grown up and giving out advice, well she could do that also. "You could find out a way of getting him away from his nasty aunt, try and get her out of the house and then rescue him and if he is really sorry you could forgive him, you see you can't go around with enermies you have to forgive people in the end or you could lose a life-time of friendship." Laura sighed and she didn't want Ella to have to go through that.

Laura smiled as she tried to think of something her mother had told her, it's like with friends. "It's like with friends, you have to learn to share your friends with other people, if there a friend worth having, and you are a friend worth having, they and you will be closer for it, if you are one of those that are selfish and Jelous of people then you'll only make yourself and the other person miserable." Laura smiled at Ella and then turned back to Sophie.

"Sophie come on you have to spill the beans now it's your turn." Laura stopped tickling her and looked at Ella. "What do you say do we doggy-pile her until she does tell us?"

Sophie looked from Ella to Laura as the latter started giving her own advice. What? Anyway, Sophie agreed with Laura when the girl said Ella should forgive him. Forgive people was always the best thing to do, right? How could someone go on hating someone else only if s/he was an evil person that hated your family for no reason for the rest of their lives? That was a long long time! "Yeah, it was a good thing you forgave him, Ella. As long as you just stay friends." Or had Logan changed for real? How could they possibly know that?? Gaaahhh, SO complicated!

Then Ella explained the situation between her and Harvey. Blushing... right. Smiling... riiiight. "I know what you mean." She really did. Heh! And now Ella was asking what boys were confusing Sophie? Oh, many of them. Boys were just plain confusing. What was up with that Elijah dude, for example? Could any guy be weirder than him? Probably not.

Guys gave good hugs? Sophie wouldn't know about that, really. She agreed about the 'funny to watch' part though. "But being friends with guys is still normal!" Maybe it was just weird being friends with... certain guys. Especially weird ones. Or reeeeally handsome ones, hehehe! But it was still normal, in a way. At least in Sophie's opinion.

Laura stopped tickling her, good!! But WHAT?? DOG-PILE AGAIN?? They had done that to Sophie last term and it almost killed her! "Nononono, no need for that, really! I'll tell, I'll tell!" She rushed to her own bed this time, to make sure they wouldn't jump on her or anything.

Okay, OKAY, it was her tuuurrnnnn!! She grabbed her pillow. "Um, I'm not sure if you guys know him..." She started, squeezing the light purple pillow that she had enchanted earlier. "He's a Slytherin and is actually older than us. He's a fourth year!" Soooo mature! Her eyes sparkled as she pictured him in her mind. RNGKLJEGHRKJETH! "His name is Mordred." BEAUTIFUL NAME, RIGHT? "Do you guys know him?" But she didn't wait for them to reply. "He's like, reeeeally cute! His hair is sooo handsome and it looks so smooth!" Sophie seriously wanted to stroke iiiit! She moved her hands in front of her face, as if his head was actually right in front of her, like she was truly stroking his gorgeous hair. "His eyes are green..." They perfectly matched his Slytherin robes, which made them even prettier! "...and he is soooo nice and has such a cute smile!!" YES! HIS SMILE WAS ADORABLE! GAAAAHHHHH, how was that even possible? She turned to Laura. "He's way more handsome than Oakey." Totally true. Not that Sophie wanted to offend their housemate, of course not. "I mean, Oakey is not ugly, really, but Mordred is just more handsome." Simple as that. No offense taken, right Laura? Heh!

Did they want to hear more about Mordred? Hm? Hmm? :eyebrows:

Ella was really glad that Sophie and Laura agreed and understood the forgiving Logan bit. "Yeah, it didn't feel right to not forgive him. It's no fun staying mad at people. I don't like the thought of having an enemy. It makes my tummy hurt." And as for Sophie's point about being only friends, Ella nodded. POINT TAKEN. "Yup, we're friends. JUST friends." So no worries, Sophie. As for Laura's suggestion to bust Logan out of his current jail. "Oh I couldn't. She's WAY too evil to even attempt it. What if she like...locked me up too!" IMAGINE?! O__O That would be SO horrible!

And then Laura was giving some kind of ancient sage advice about friendship. O___o She sounded like a grown up! Woah! "Laura that was some-erm...serious advice." She said after a bit of processing, a smile on her face. She honestly wasn't used to hearing that kind of stuff from Laura. It was a bit surprising.

Ella considered Sophie's point about being friends with guys and how it was still normal. "Well I guess it maybe depends on the boys? I mean it's still normal to be friends with Messer and Alec. At least it still feels normal. So there's that." And to be honest, Ella was happy to have boys in her life who she didn't have to worry about feeling stupid around. She hoped they would all be friends for a long time...and that any weirdness would not happen between all of them.

At the dog pile suggestion, Ella wiggled her eyebrows mischievously at Sophie but made no move to jump on her. She knew the threat alone would get her to spill! MWAHAHAHHA! Laura was an evil genius! She gave the girl an appreciative smile as Soph moved back to her bed.

See? With the pillow grabbing?! Ella thought it might be weird when she had clung to hers but Soph was doing it too. AWWWW. TWINS! And wait! She liked a fourth year? That was like a REAL boy...man. Ella's eyes grew a bit wide, wondering who this might be. Mordred? Well that sounded like Morbid. HEH. Morbid Mordred. Ella giggled at the thought and was about to say she didn't know him when Sophie continued. "Nice hair is a good thing. Harvey has nice hair..." Ella said thoughtfully, a small smile on her face. And then Sophie was talking about his CUTE smile and Ella grinned. D'awww Sophie really liked him! And then...

*snort* He was more handsome than Oakey? Ella tried to stifle her laughter as she looked from Sophie to Laura. Would they have a debate about this now? Ella couldn't really be the deciding factor...seeing as she'd never met this Mordy character. And then Sophie was done?...maybe? "He sounds nice, Soph!" Ella said cheerfully, bouncing a bit on her bed. "When can I meet him?!" Huh? Huh? HUH?

Evelyn gave a faint smile when Kate said that it would be okay. Yeah..she kind of needed to hear that. That everything would be okay and she needn't worry. "Thanks. I guess things are better than what they used to be." Better in the sense that she didn't have to listen to her sister go on and on about how magic was freaky anymore..thankfully, Eli was way too busy with school to even keep in touch with Eve..which was great.

Wait...did she just say warmer? Evelyn stared at the girl. Seriously, Eve was literally freezing each day. It was so cold. Gosh, if she found English winters so cold, she had no idea how she was going to cope once she was in Scotland. It was way colder out there. "Winters are really chilly in Sweden, I suppose?" If she found England warm.

Very close? Huh. "He's a friend. I joined Hogwarts last year..and he was the first friend I made." First real friend anyway.So, in a way, he was kind of special. Not that she was going to say that aloud. Nope.

Laura was about to tell Ella that she could be serious when Sophie spoke about the boy of her dreams. "Well I've never met him." Say what OHHHHHHHH! Laura was shocked. "NO Way, Oakey is the most Handsome boy ever and his smile is to die for, seriously." Laura brushed her hair to the side before continuing. "NO ONE and I repeat NO ONE is more Handsome that Oakey, except maybe a Prince Charming, though I wouldn't be suprised if Oakey wasn't one of them anyway, I've never asked him." Seriously how could Sophie compare Oakey to a stranger, that just wasn't on, she grabbed her pillow and hit Sophie across the head with it. "Maybe that'll give you a bit of sence." Laura giggled.

Carigan wrinkled her nose "Boys are gross. I'm staying single forever." she said. She may be mature for her age, but hey, she's still only twelve.

"It's too risky!" Sophie concluded about rescuing Logan. And really, his aunt wasn't probably that evil! No one was completely evil just Hannah. As for Laura's advice. "I've never seen you so serious either, Laura! Where did you get that from??" It was like the girl was reading it out from a book or something! Impressive!

Hmmm... "I don't know... I'm still friends with all the boys I know." Including Mordred. Teehee! "I guess it depends on the boys... and it depends on you too?" Did that even make sense?

As she talked about how cool Mordred was, Sophie didn't really pay attention to her friends' reactions. She was too busy picturing him in her mind. She did hear, though, Ella saying that nice hair was a good thing. "It IS, isn't it??" One of the best things EVER! Especially when it was so gorgeous like Mordred's. His hair was too lovely. "Whenever!" She added happily. "You'll meet him eventually!!" Even if that meant that Sophie would have to arrange things in order for that to happen, mehe! Her besties needed to see the handsomeness.

Hehehehehehehehehehe! Sophie knew this would get to Laura. She chuckled as she shook her head. "No way, Laura, Mordred's-" WHACK! Whaaa?? A pillow fight over who's the most handsome boy? "So that's how it's gonna be, eh?" Sophie laughed as she swung her own pillow around, hitting Laura's head as well. "That's for you saying such crazy things!" Because the Slytherin dude was more handsome than the Hufflepuff one. Mmhm!

OH?? If Sophie didn't know Carigan was there, she would have jumped out of her skin when she heard her friend finally saying something. "Boys are not gross, Carigan!" They were all very nice! Sophie had never met a gross boy before... at least not yet. She was staying single forever? Mehehehehe! "Okay then..." But Sophie knew that herself, Ella and Laura would NOT, teehee!

Oh Merlin! This was TOO funny. Laura debating whether or not Oakey was actually Prince Charming in disguise was pretty awesome...but a little misguided. If anyone was a charming prince, it was probably Harvey. He was nice and kind to literally everyone. He'd definitely charm the pants off Oakey and this Mordy guy in a charm competition, that's for sure! She wanted to say so but then Laura wacked Soph with her pillow and Ella shut her trap, laughing instead because she knew Sophie wouldn't take that laying down.

Poor Sophie. If she could only know a little more about Logan's aunt she wouldn't be saying she wasn't evil. That woman was like...was like...A DISNEY WITCH CHARACTER! Yeah! And they were EVILLLLLL! *SHIVER* "It's definitely too risky. He'll be okay. I think."

The mystery of WHY Laura was suddenly so filled with wisdom was still making Ella quite curious. She must have been doing some serious yoga with Professor Romanos or something! That was supposed to clear your mind of all the nonsense and get to the good stuff, right? OR she had a serious inner eye! Whoa! That would be SO COOL! GRIN.

Ella wanted to tell Sophie that she was still friends with all the boys she knew because she hadn't told Morbid that she liked him yet. THAT would change their friendship a bit, right? She didn't want to harsh her friend's vibe though. Not when Sophie was looking all dreamy and in loOOOoOoOove. D'awwww!

The second year wanted to meet Mordred like A.S.A.P. If only to see this allegedly beautiful hair. She wanted to know if Sophie was just over exaggerating because of whatever boy spell Mordred had put over her or if her had serious lovely hair. "Soon than later, please." She said with a wide smile. She needed to meet this boy and make sure he wasn't a meany weenie AND that he would never hurt Sophie.

And then Sophie returned fire on Laura. BAAHHAHAHAH! Ella sat back and giggled. SHE KNEW that would happen. Maybe Ella had a cool inner eye thing too? O___o AWESOMEEE!

Wait! Cardigan thought ALL boys were gross? "Oh Cardigan, that isn't true. Some boys are nice and fun. You should make friends with Alec and Messer. They're pretty okay for boys." And easy to beat in challenges...HEHEHE

"Oh Merlin!" Ella said suddenly, eyes wide. "If I ever did marry Harvey...not that I ever will...but his last name is Watson...I'd be Ella Watson...I'd be...EW!" EW? Really?!? "Maybe I shouldn't like him after all."

Laura looked at Sophie and then jumped on her playfully before hitting Sophie across the head with the pillow again. "I'll start tickling you again if you don't say that Oakey is a lot better looking that the Slytherin dude you fancy." Laura giggled, this was too cool she was going to get Sophie to admit that Oakey was by far the most handsome boy ever.

Laura looked around at Ella. "That's great I'll be LG, you'll be EW and Sophie will be SM." Laura smiled. "And Carigan, I'll find you'll someone you could try Alec maybe he doesn't have a girlfriend, I could introduce you somewhere romantic in Hogsmeade, seriously then they could have dinner and a nice chat." Laura thought that would be cool.

Sammy pushed herself up onto her elbows and rolled her eyes at the brunette "Amy, is it necessary to be such a dork?" she asked, attempting to mock her friend. Then continuing to raise her brow at the small nest of books that her friend had built herself. She sat up, feeling Moggy fall towards her bed with a small mew. You couldn't possibly need to know that much, I mean, later on you could just google it or go to Diagon Alley. Simple. She stood up though and looked over Amy's shoulder at what she was reading "How much of this do we actually need to know? Just curious" she said, crossing her arms.

She frowned slightly at her next comment. She had started, just not extensively or as much as she should had have done by now. "I have started" she said slightly defensively, before remembering where she had just come from. The library. "In fact," she started, moving back towards her bag that she had just dragged into the dorms and lifting multiple books up onto her bed "I just got these out" she said, giving them a slight spirit finger show "You proud of me?" she asked.

Carigan laughed. for the past severall minutes she had been deep in space. Not really thinking but... deep in thought? Did that even make sense? Oh well... "I don't mean gross as friends... I just mean... ew. Like I saw two sixth years snogging outside the greenhouses the other day. I mean... ew. GET A ROOM!" Carigan said in a huff but then giggled so hard her stomach started to hurt.

She kept on giggling until she was out of breath and let out a sigh. She must have been tired or SOMETHING because she seemed like a crazy person.

"Yeah, he will be okay." Family can't really harm you, right? They're always there to protect you! At least it was what Sophie thought.

Ella did seem pretty happy about their advice. Good! That made Sophie happy too!

Aaaannnndddd she really wanted to meet Mordred! No wonder. He was indeed a lovely guy and Ella didn't even need to actually know him to figure this out! "Yeah, definitely!" Sophie was sure her friends would love him too! Especially his haaaaiir!!

Laura hit head in the head with a pillow again. Sophie laughed and was about to do the same when the other Hufflepuff threatened to tickle her again! "Oh no, oh no! No more tickles!!" She begged still laughing. Sophie quickly jumped out of her bed and took her pillow with her. "Mordred's more handsome!" She exclaimed flailing about. Haaaaah!

Still standing, she heard as her friends went on about their future initials. EW was pretty funny! Merlin, Sophie's name was going to be so fancy! It did sound really... important! GRIN!

Now... Carigan! "Yeah, boys are fun and nice, Carigan!" Sophie said happily, still holding onto her pillow. "Carigan's not friends with Messer and Alec yet??" What an outraaaage! They were such cool boys! And Laura was already talking about romantic meetings in Hogsmead?? Hahahahahhah! "I say we should find a Gryffindor for Carigan!" Sophie suddenly had the idea. "Look! Mordred's a Slytherin, Harvey's a Ravenclaw and Oakey's a Hufflepuff! If we find a Gryffindor for Carigan, we'll be complete!" How COOL would that be?? Sooo cool!

Ella was wondering who would win in an all out pillow battle over which boy was cuter. On the one hand, Laura had serious tickling skills...meaning she could use those skills if things started going down hill during the pillow battle. On the other hand, Soph had mad wand skills. So she could turn Laura green like she'd done to her and send her floating to the ceiling or something. Yeah, maybe Sophie would win that fight after all...

Wait! What was this romantic Hogsmeade talk?! Ella giggled, thinking about how weird a romantic date would be. Romance was like...that violin music and two people eating the same strand of pasta til they kissed, yeah? She wasn't sure she was ready for that yet. She was definitely sure Carigan wasn't. Especially since she was currently talking about how GROSS snogging was. "Have you guys...you know, kissed a boy before?" Ella asked before blushing and giggling a bit.

Carigan totally needed to find a Gryffindor boy to complete the little theme they had going on. It was only right...and very unprejudiced to each like a boy from a different house. YUP. Ella stood up on her own bed and began jumping up and down, a thoughtful look on her face. "Yes! A Gryffindor! I'll have to start making a list of eligible bachelors." GIGGLE. Eligible was such a funny word to say...."You know, I actually quite like the idea of match making!" Ella's match making services...had a nice ring to it.

Laura looked at Sophie. "Your crazy Sophie, Oakey is the most handsome guy in the wo.." Laura started to say but then stopped as Ella asked a strange question, had they kissed a guy before. "I uh, I uh, I uh, I really need to go and see a Professor about some homework they have given us." Laura smiled whilst blushing a bit, "I'll be back later." And with that Laura left the dorm.

Cairgan looked at Ella "Well you probably know my answer! NO WAY. I'm going to be an crazy cat lady." Carigan said seriously at firs tbut then burst into a heavy fit of giggles. She turned to Sophie and, through her giggles, said "I don't want to be set up! I'm too young! I'm not allowed to date until I'm 16!" It was perhaps a bit difficult to understand her through her giggles.

Just then, though, Laura got up and left. Carigan stopped her fit of giggles and picked herself up off the floor where she had been rolling in the fit of laughter. "Laura?"

Sophie was sure Laura would eventually give in, since Mordred was clearly more good-looking. Hah! When Ella asked them the kiss question, Sophie covered her mouth with both hands and raised her eyebrows. Eeeewwwwwwwwwww!!! That was grooooss! But she started giggling nonetheless. "I haven't! Have you??" Eek... even if she got to kiss Mordred, that... still sounded kind of gross.

And about Carigan... "But how cool would this be, Carigan! Each of us liking a guy from a different house!" It sounded pretty awesome to Sophie! Hah! They could all walk around together with their uniforms and be all colourful. YAY!

Then Laura rushed out of the room.

"I WON! MORDRED'S MORE HANDSOME!" GRIN!

But... did that mean... GASP! "Merlin, does that mean Laura has kissed a boy before???" She asked looking at Ella, half amused, half confused. Ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! "Who might this boy be??" WAS IT OAKEY?? Whooooaaaa!!

Ella burst into laughter after hearing Carigan's response to her question. A crazy cat lady?! "Carigan, you won't be a crazy cat lady! Eventually you'll like someone! And who knows...if it works out maybe he'll be a crazy cat man! You'll be a perfect match." GRIN. Though in Ella's mind, dogs were much better than cats but that was a debate for another time! And what's this? Her parents had a rule about dating? The little blonde wondered if her father had thought up an age when it would be appropriate for her to date. Ella bounced up and down and wiggled her eyebrows at her friend. "What if Mordy tried to kiss you, Soph! What would you do then?!" Probably die or something! But that wouldn't be good! Ella needed her best friend around. Maybe Mordy and Soph shouldn't kiss after all...

Ella jumped off her bed, tossing her pillow to the side, and headed out of the dormitory and after her friend.

Carigan watched Ella hop off her bed to investigate Lauras sudden dissappearance, then turned to Sophie. "I really will be a crazy cat lady... and of course Hamlet here will be with me!" she said gesturing to her raven who was perched on her bed.

"Sophie..." Carigan started slowly, "What do you think of divination? Like... as a career path?"
