Fourth Floor Corridor Look. A corridor! |
Selina ^_^ Grayson decided he wanted to read more on potions with mandrake root, so he headed to fourth floor to the library. On his way he realized that he left the list of potions with it along with his ink and parchment. He was sure he had put it in his bag. Groaning he leaned against the wall with his eyes closed as he thought of the trip he had to make back up to the seventh floor. Deciding to rest a bit Grayson dropped his bag from his shoulder, then to his hand and released it unto to the floor at his feet. He contemplated sliding to the floor too. |

As she wandered aimlessly down the hall she saw someone sitting down on the floor. She approached slowly until she saw it was Grayson. With a smile smile she waved and asked, "Hey, what are you doing here stranger?" |

He looked up at the girl who he had met last year. He wondered if she ever really got used to him. She must have or she would probably bolted in the other direction. |

But she rolled her eyes regardless at his antics and said, "I see summer hasn't really changed you, Bay." Except that he had gotten taller, she had noticed that because now she felt every short around him. Being short was not fun... at all. "And I am just wandering... have a little while till class starts and I'm afraid if I bask in the beautiful weather, I may never go to class." That was a truth if she had ever said one. |

"I was actually going to use the library but I left my stuff upstairs and it's alot of stairs. So I decided to take a breather before turning back for it. So my reason for being here makes sense. You wandering the halls, not so sure." he said before his impish, playful smirk crept unto his face."But I have to agree with you about the weather." |

As he began to explain why he was at the library she had to admit that his explanation did make a lot of sense. Walking all of the way back up to the Gryffindor tower was a long and tiring journey, Selina only liked to make it when it was necessary. So his loiterring in the corridor made more sense now that he had explained himself, but when he made fun of her wanderings she swatted his arm playfully, "Hey be nice. It is not a crime to wander the hallways," she added with a chuckle. As far as she knew, it was alright to wander the halls before class. Randomly she asked, "Hey you kind of poofed at the end of last year. Where were you off to all the time?" She was curious. |
Dylaaan! Beatrice was almost running as she neared the Fourth Floor Corridor. The Book Club Meeting was today and sadly, she was to arrive late. Irresponsible as it may seem, but she fell asleep at their dorms, and Indy didn't bother waking her up because apparently her best friend forgot that she signed up for the Book Club. Although, she really couldn't blame anyone but herself. It was her fault she forgot the meeting was today and it was also her fault that she even took a nap. "Yeah..so Beezus, next time don't forget." She reminded herself. And speaking of reminders, the new Librarian reminded them to bring one of their favorite books to that Meeting. So...where was her book eh? Hmmmm... The eaglette, without even stopping or slowing her pace, opened her shoulder bag to check. O____________________o "Merlin, where's that booooook?" she uttered frantically. It was right there. She swore she placed it there before leaving. But where was it? Her hands were sweating. She was VERY late and she didn't want to climb up to their Common Room again. Her legs weren't helping either, it was still taking steps. She wouldn't wonder if she bumped on someone. |
Beezusssssssssss! SPOILER!!: tomewitch Dylan, who had just spent the last hour looking for his blasted book, was full out running through the corridors...He was late, something the Slytherin loathed despite his casual disinterest in most things. He'd always been taught that tardiness was bad manners...And even though he was one of THOSE guys, bad manners was not something he believed in. It was tacky...and he most certainly was NOT tacky. Meh, it was his books fault, anyway. If the thing had just stayed where he had left it...He would've been there. ON TIME. Gah, why was it things were all-the-sudden sprouting legs and walking off around his dorm? Merlin help whoever might have been touching his things... Rounding the corner, not really paying attention to what he was doing or who else might have been attempting to walk in the area, he broke out into another sprint... It was a shame Dylan didn't seen the smaller girl nearing the door at about the same time, because the next thing he knew, he was colliding with her full force. On instinct, he reached out, wrapping his right arm tightly around her waist, while the other darted out to steady them on the wall. Sweet Merlin! Trying to calm his breathing...and his pounding heart from basically running two miles...Dylan looked down... Something he soon realized he should NOT have done... It had been Bee. He'd basically tackled Bee...He eyes widened at that little piece of information fully sunk in. Uh oh! |

Beezus was still brisk walking, quite oblivious of her surroundings, focused on getting to the Book Club Meeting and on finding her book which she had apparently borrowed from the library. Her eyes were on the bag and not on the path she was striding. And that....seemed like a VERY bad idea. Because at the moment her hand had clasped the familiar leather cover of the book she was looking for, a body crashed to her own. She lost balance, fell backwards with force, her hand let go of the book and she shut her eyes for Merlin only knows what would happen next if she hit the cold floor. ...................................... Yet, her body didn't touch anything, she was feeling a strong arm on her waist instead. Breathing heavily, she raised her head and slowly opened her eyes. Then saw..."Dy.." She inhaled sharply. "Dylan...?" Okay. So was she still alive? |
SPOILER!!: tomewitch Dylan was staring down at Bee...horrified. What was WRONG with him lately? He'd...No, THEY'D (he and Vickers) had nearly killed Cap'n and Indy...And now he'd basically ran down the girl... *sigh* THE girl. Seriously, could his luck be any worse? COULD IT? Yea, he thought NOT. *SIGH* In fact, he was about to step away from her altogether (to escape into the library) when Bee decided to look up at him. Those eyes of hers...Merlin! That had been a terrible, terrible, AWFUL thing for her to do. AWFUL...because Dylan suddenly felt pinned to the spot. All he could do was simply stand there, still holding her tightly and staring at her full in the face...STILL trying to catch his breath...Although looking at her wasn't helping in that department. WHY COULDN'T SHE BE UGLY AND UTTERLY UNATTRACTIVE? Somehow finding the resolve to let go (actually FORCING himself because he was probably coming off like the biggest CREEP ever!), the Slytherin tore his eyes away from hers. TORE. Refocusing them on the floor in front of him, he quietly mused his hair. "I...erm...apologize about that." He tried to slip some indifference into his tone... No, he had not just had a moment of clarity...NOPE. |
Jonathan! <3 Evelyn was tired..and bored. The Prefect wanted to relax in the Common room but it was crowded as usual and she wanted to go some place quiet. The grounds were always crowded and noisy these days so she decided that the corridors were the next best option. She reached the fourth floor corridor when she saw that people were here too..sigh. Anyway, she made her way down the corridor until she found a spot that a little away from the crowd before she sat down on the floor, leaning against the wall. Now..quiet time. |

Why was Dylan eyeing her like that? And more so...why did she froze? Like she was staring back at him, trying to decipher what was behind those eyes that was looking at her intensely. Dylan, what are you thinking? She badly wanted to voice out. She wanted to know! Then suddenly, he averted his sight to the floor. Trying to regain her fedora, Beezus too turned the other way. She just felt....AWKWARD. And...awkward wasn't good. "Apologize?" Yes, she was starting to reacquire her steady features. "WHAT WERE YOU DOING?" The Ravenclaw grabbed one of the Slytherin's shoulder and heaved herself up that they were standing face to face now. "Were you.." Breathe. Breathe. "Were you trying to kill me?" That was just not cool. NOT COOL DYLAN. Because she could've fallen, head first at that. With a weak frown, she punched him in the chest. "You're...just......so pathetic." Off all people who'd attempt to murder off her face from Hogwarts? Dylan? |
teehee =3 Quote:
He got himself fixed. He could sketch something today, right? Yeah... It has been awhile since he last drew something on his sketch book. So he took the sketch book with him, together with his handy muggle pencil. Yup, he loves these little write-y things. Coolest invention ever. Finding himself go up to the fourth floor corridor, Jonathan decided to sit down in one corner. Maybe he could sketch the whole corridor in one corner. While walking and finding a good spot to seat, he noticed a very familiar person, he eyed her. Where has he seen her? She looked really REALLY familiar. Jonathan walked closer and as he did, the girl leaning on the wall is "Evelyn, right?" he managed to remember her name. "We met over the summer?" he tried recalling her hoping that she remembers who he is. |
SPOILER!!: tomewitch Facing the wall, Dylan attempted to get himself together. What was it about this one girl? It seemed like every time he was around her, he just...lost it. It never failed... Tossing a look at her over his shoulder, the Slytherin shook his head. He knew good and well what the cause was...but he wasn't admitting anything. Not to himself and not to some psycho, lunatic Ravenclaw. She was already complaining and they'd only been in each other presence a few minutes...Well, it had felt longer...because...he'd be...holding her close...but whatever. "Yes...I was apologizing..." He had nearly plowed her to the ground...If it had been anyone else, perhaps he wouldn't have cared. But he couldn't treat her with that same indifference. Dylan knew because he'd tried. Ugh, what was she doing to me? ...AND WHY WAS SHE HITTING HIM? "Will you just shut your mouth, Bee. Stop being ridiculous...and I've told you NUMEROUS times to STOP hitting me." Gah, WHY did he like her?! |
:3 Quote:
Yet surprisingly, she did. That caught her off guard so she started punching his chest again. "Am I really that insane that you'd try killing me so you won't see my face ever again at Hogwarts?" That thought hurt her. And she didn't want Dylan to answer that either way. "You know what? Just...don't answer that." Because she didn't want to hear him say anything more. She felt awkward, and she felt weird too. She didn't understood any of it. All she knew was that she just didn't want Dylan to see her as vulnerable. For she was feeling weak just standing next to him. With a sigh, she shifted away from him, bent down and grabbed her book. |
Text Cut: Jonathan :3 Evelyn closed her eyes when..she heard someone call her name. Seriously? Just when she was about to relax..sigh. With a small frown, she opened her eyes and looked up to find.. "Jonathan?" Yeah, she remembered him. She'd met the guy over the summer and he was super nice. "Yeah, Evelyn." She smiled and nodded, confirming that was her name. "Hm, I know. In Diagon Alley." Yeah, it was ages ago..in the beginning of summer but she remembered. Erm. "Do you want to join me?" Like, did he want to sit down? 'Cause, looking up at him was kind of making her neck hurt. |
Quote:
And she finally said his name. Nice. She still remembers him and she even specified where it was. Jonathan smiled at her "Nice to meet you around Hogwarts... finally" he gave a small laugh. It sounded more forced however. Jonathan couldn't bring himself to laugh like he used to. He's still trying his best to do so though. Jonathan looked around, not many people seems to be around here, Jonathan nodded "Why not" he smiled once more as he took a seat next to her at the corridor. He set aside his sketchbook. Guess he's not doing any drawing today, but talking's fine. He needed to at least do that. It'd be nice to have something to talk about... But what exactly? Jonathan pursed his lips and tried thinking of a topic, OHHH!!! "How's summer?" he asked. |
Quote:
She smiled again when he sat down next to her. She curiously looked at the book that he placed on the ground.. "What's that?" It didn't really look like a school book. Hm. Maybe it was a personal diary of some sort..or a sketch book. Yeah, it looked more like a sketch book. But..she should probably wait for his answer instead of letting her thoughts run crazy. Her smile faded slightly when he mentioned summer. Gosh, people just HAD to ask about her summer, didn't they? "Erm..it was alright." She managed to give a small smile before she continued, "How was yours?" |
Quote:
Jonathan sat on the sketchbook quickly when Evelyn noticed it. Not that he was selfish with it, it's just that Jonathan never really lets anyone just look at his sketches. Same with the piano. He plays it alone and that was it. He grinned widely though, it was more of a defense mechanism of his "N-nothing... It's nothing" he said holding onto it. Change the subject.... He tried thinking of something when he suddenly remembered and thankfully, he listened "I hear you're the new Hufflepuff prefect" he said. She could still correct him though, he might be mistaken her for someone else, right? But he did hear it correctly.... he thinks he did. Seeing the smile disappearing on her face just made Jonathan look away. Yeah, no one was having a good summer right. And when she replied him with an answer, Jonathan wasn't still convinced she was fine. Everyone has their own story to tell but he doesn't expects her to just talk about. When the question was directed back to him, he once again dozed off. Leaving a long pause before answering. Summer... was just a memory now, isn't it. However, Jonathan shook his head to get back to reality and flashed her a smile "It was great" was that really the right term for it, great? |
Quote:
Before she could stop herself, she laughed. Gosh. He was holding on it like she was going to steal it away from him. "Don't worry..I'm not going to take your book away or something.." She turned away from him, hoping that her laughter would subside. Hm. Right. With a grin on her face, she looked at the book curiously. "What is it though?" Or..was that a secret as well? Hm? "Nice change of subject." Yeah, she knew that he'd changed the subject on purpose to get her off his 'book'. She didn't mind though. Everyone had their own secrets. "Yes. Yes, I am." Evelyn said, proudly. She didn't want to seem like she was showing off or something but yeah..she was definitely proud of herself. Summer..Evelyn gave a small sigh. She was really glad that she didn't have to spend the next summer with her family. She got to go to Scotland and live with her Grandmother..so that made her cheer up a little. Yeah, it definitely looked like he didn't have a good summer either..especially when it took him a really long time to reply. Great..? Erm. "That's..well..good." Evelyn was sure he didn't have a 'great' summer..but she wasn't nosy so refused to comment on that. |
Quote:
Then she hit with a question that he never saw coming. It made him step back from her and look away. A tick worked in his jaw as he really, didn't like thinking about the end of last term."Um...just thought it was better to stay away from everybody. So, I avoided everyone until I left for home at the end of the term." he replied very honestly. |
SPOILER!!: tomewitch Dylan stared at her...Simply stared. What else could he do? The girl was so frustrating, he could have smacked...something...Gah, how was it possible to like and loathe someone with equal intensity at the same time?! And why was he even doing so at this age? He wasn't old enough to be confused about this type of stuff. *HAIR-MUSING* Just looking at the younger Ravenclaw...Ugh, he needed to get away from her before he did something he would regret...Like shoving her...or kissing her. Dylan really couldn't decide which. ...And Bee needn't worry. He wasn't going to answer her question because it was as ridiculous as she was at the moment...Yea, he was going to walk away... WALK AWAY, DYLAN! Turning back towards the door, he began walking... |
Quote:
Frowning, she stared at the library door, then turned her head to look at the Slytherin boy, with his back on her and back again. Upon instinct, she called his name."Dylan!" Uhhhh..."Weren't.." The Ravenclaw hesitated for a moment but managed to continued. "Where are you going?" For she believed that he was on his way to the Book Club Meeting. And where he was striding to was definitely the wrong way, the entrance was right beside her for Merlin's sake! Or...was he just passing by? |
Quote:
Then he turned away very abruptly and took a step backwards. She could only assume it had something to do with her question, but she did not think she had asked anything terrible. It was harmless question because she was really curious as to where he had gone off to as the term dwindled down. "Wait, why did you have to stay away from everyone? Why would that be better? Not exactly following you Grayson..." |
