Avery wandered around aimlessly, walking through long forgotten parts of Hogwarts grounds and into a patch of dense trees. She remember these from her first two years at Hogwarts, before the accident that put her in hospital for three years. And she dragged him up and they ran towards the tree, dodging the tree branches, avoiding certain places and stepping on her special path to the trunk of the tree.

They dived for the trunk and she reached up and touched the knot in the tree and all the branches, as if by magic, froze where they were harmlessly swaying in the breeze. Avery turned to see Alec reaction.
