The Back Alley
 

The streets of Hogsmeade are clean, cheerfully lit, and full of chatter with the store fronts advertising their wares. However, the alley behind the shops is dark, dank, and kinda... creepy. :shifty:

Lost. Savannah was lost. Ugh, she had just gotten here and she was already lost! She hated this school, she really hated it. She was scared, this place was dark and well...creepy.Savannah needed to find someone she knew quickly or else well....who knows.

Oh, great. This is what Aiden got for wandering off to 'explore.' Back in some odd, dark alley now. He spotted another person who seemed to be frantically unaware of where she was. So he wasn't the only one. "Hey, I think--" Oh! He recognized her now that he got closer. "Savannah."

Savannah turned around as she heard a familiar voice, Aiden. "I'm lost...."she simply said, planting her hand on her hip."I'm sorry about freaking out on you yesterday.."She said ,with a sigh. She wasn't that sorry. She was telling total lies. She knew what he wanted her to say and that was that she was sorry for it. She was still going to flirt with him though and he was still going to change his mind.

An apology was an improvement for Savannah, and Aiden acknowledged it. "It's cool." He slid his hands into his pockets. "Yeah, I kind of meandered off and ended back here as well." In this dark back alley. How lovely. "I think the main street is back this way, though.." He added taking a step or two towards his right.

Patrick found his way into a dark alley and found it was a tad peaceful. He took a deep breath, inhaling the cool fall air and then let it out. He looked around and found he was nearly alone. Somewhere inside he wondered if Vanessa had dared to venture down to Hogsmeade after feeling so down lately. He closed his eyes and leaned against the moist wall.

Vanessa walked back in the alley way and saw Patrick. "Patrick!" She said walking over to him and giving him a hug. "How've you been?" She said wiping a tear from her eye really quickly. She did not want him to see her crying again, especially after the night where she cried so much.

Patrick's eyes opened quickly when he heard a familiar voice and felt someone hug him. He smiled and saw Vanessa and hugged her back. "Hey there," he greeted, pulling back from the hug with his hands still on her arms. His face turned into a frown as he saw her face properly. "I've been alright. It's you I'm concerned about. Are you okay?" he asked.

Vanessa smiled as he hugged her back and stepped back as well. "Don't worry about me, Patrick." She said with a slight smile. "I've been...decent." She said simply. "So what are you doing back here?" She asked curiously. She wouldn't really expect Patrick to be back here.

"But I am worried. Someone you care about has just died and it worries me," he said in a concerned tone, taking his hand and placing it on the side of her cheek affectionately. He didn't want to see her turn into a completely different person because of this. "Thinking," Patrick simply stated. A smile met his lips and he added, "Did you hear I made beater on the Quidditch team?"

Uhh...no. He wasn't going to leave.

"Stay please !!"She said while grabbing his hand forcing him to stop in his tracks."And it isn't cool, I totally blew up on you. You didn't do anything wrong."She said, looking straight at him with her brown eyes. She didnt want him to leave.

Vanessa smiled at him. How could anybody not like him? He was so adorable and nice...but no she had to move on. She said she was moving on and she hated it, but she had to. She looked down and once he said he made beater, she smiled. "Congratulations." She said.

He chuckled. "Thanks. One of the things at least to get my head on straight," he said to her, looking down at his shoes and considered telling her the other news or not. He let out a breath and looked back up at her. "I've been meaning to tell you...I'm settling the deal on an apartment. Or rather you, Bonnie, and I's apartment," he smiled, putting his hands in his jacket pockets. It wasn't easy business, especially with homework and other things on his shoulders.

Aiden chuckled. "I meant you could come back to the main street with me. You know.. since you were lost?" He shrugged. "Unless you'd prefer this alley?" This little nook street was a little nice in the respect that it wasn't packed with Hogwarts kids high on honeydukes. "Seriously, it's cool. Just don't say things like that about my friends again."

Vanessa slightly laughed and then quickly faded it away. [OOC: Hopefully that made sense. :xd:] She looked up at him with a shocked expression. "Did you just say our apartment?" She asked really excited. "What? I thought we were just visiting for the holidays? You didn't have to do this, you know that right?" She asked spinning in a circle with her hands on her head, suprised. Waitttt......what was Ella going to say? "Wait a minute. Have you talked to Ella about this? Or at least the girl that your arranged to marry?" She asked a bit concerned.

She shurgged her shoulders, looking up at Aiden. Eck, he was adorable ! "i like it here actually...it's quiet and doesn't seem so stressful and packed if you catch what I am saying."She said with a tiny wink at him. Savannah wasn't the type to enjoy back streets but then again, who did ? You were constantly getting shoved around and the fact that she didn't know anybody here made it worse. At Beauxbatons she could shove people out of her way but here she couldn't do that."Those girls just worry me,Aiden. I feel jealous knowing that you give them attention and I can't help that I get jealous of other girls."She said, with a sigh. This was the first time she had ever felt jealous, EVER.

Patrick laughed as he saw her expression turned into one of shock. "Yeah I did just say our apartment," he emphasized, feeling excitement boiling up inside him as well. This is something he wanted done for a long time. "I know I don't, but I want to do this. You're one of my best friend's. I'm not just going to ditch you," he said with a light shrug. He meant every word he had just said too. Patrick shook his head. "I haven't told her about your mum like you asked me so I can't really tell her can I?" Then he mentioned the other girl. "We don't even know each other."

Vanessa ran over and hugged him again. She couldn't help it, it was sooo nice of him to do that. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you." She said hugging him tighter then realizing it might be hurting him so she stepped back and blushed. "Sorry." She said simply. She listened as he talked about Ella and the other girl. "That's true I guess. You can tell her now if you want to though, it will get around the school anyways." She shrugged.

Patrick just laughed more as she ran over to him and hugged him, squeezing tighter and tighter. "Your welcome," he replied, smiling despite not being able to breathe for a second. He took in a breath of air as she let go and laughed again. This was one of the happiest moments of his life for once in a long time. "Okay, I suppose I will." He just hoped Ella wouldn't be too angry at him for not telling her.

"That's true.." Aiden had to agree that he could go without the hustle and bustle for a bit. Not that he didn't like all that excitement and what not, but the quiet was certainly nice every now and then as well. "I don't know; you'll have to get used to it, I suppose." It's not like he'd stop talking to them. Well.. Liv was back at Beauxbatons by now, but he'd definitely continue hanging with Ella on a regular basis. And all his friends.

Vanessa laughed as he took in a breath of air. "Sorry, whenever I'm excited I tend to hurt people, even though I don't mean to." She said shaking her head at herself. She rubbed her arm nervously and nodded as he said he would tell Ella. She was scared of her reaction. She knew she would probably be mad..or at least annoyed.

Savannah smiled weakly at him, nodding her head."It's a bit dark here it's better than the crowd."She said, looking around. It would have been scary if she was alone but it changed now that Aiden was here. The creepiness managed to disappear. It was just some random quiet place.""They just kind of felt like a threat to me and that Ella girl made it seem like you liked her or something. It made me worried."she said, with an honest shrug.

"I understand," he said with a chuckle, looking at her and her beautiful face. Wait did he really just think that? You're over her, you're over her, you're over her, he thought to himself. Then he thought about Ella and her apologizing idea. May as well ask now right? "Err...has Ella spoken with you lately?" he asked her.

Vanessa nodded. Once he brought up Ella she sighed. She might as well tell him. "She apologized to me and I didn't believe her. Well I believed her...somewhat but I think it's a trick. She doesn't seem like herself after these past few weeks." She shrugged. "Anyways, she said that she thought the main problem was you..and I told her I'm moving on..from you. Seeming as..well yeah." She said getting quite nervous now. "So have you heard about Trixie?" She asked trying to get off the subject.

He listened as she told him about Ella apologizing. "I did say you might appreciate it," he admitted in defeat. It seemed like no one was getting forgiveness these days. "I'd give her a chance Vanessa. She and I want to change," she explained to her, fixing the hat he wore. His long hair was annoying. He guessed everyone was going to think that. For the rest of their lives. "Oh I heard. I talked to her and gave her an apology note which I didn't get acceptance from. Was I expecting it? No. Not really," he muttered, kicking a pebble.
