She took up a vial of potion and tucked it away in a safe place. The professor began to talk again. Homework? She was slightly dreading this part but she'd deal. She pulled out her notebook and wrote down the assignment as it was spoken. She cleaned up her area before packing up to go. |

Whoa. Wait... Homework was being assigned?! Dear Merlin! Sierra had to start paying attention more. If not, she'd be grounded for sure--again! She was just about to get off punishment, too! By now, her cauldron had cooled, so she collected a cupful of the potion and looked down at the mixture for a split second before deciding to drink it. She tilted the cup toward her mouth, drank the cupful, and then swallowed. She needed to see if it worked now, right? She left her workstation then headed up to the part of the room the corn was in. She'd seen Lafay take it out sometime earlier. There in the vicinity of the corn, she'd likely start to be feeling the affects of her allergy. She waited and waited, but nothing happened. Soon enough, she realized her potion had indeed worked. Well, duh. She was good at Potions. She turned on her heels then went back to her work area. She took a few minutes to clean up before collecting her own materials. After jotting down the homework, she slung her bag over her shoulder then headed for the door. "Bye, Professor Lafay," she said. |
I swear I thought I posted leaving already xD Kurumi looked up when class was dismissed and then back to her cauldron. Three paragraphs on the mushroom...she could probably manage that one. Perhaps she should write to her grandmother and ask her about it. Then again, chances were that her grandmother was going to go in the total opposite direction of what Kurumi needed for the assignment. Besides, the more difficult task was going to be finding someone to give the potion to since, well, most people with allergies seemed to be in class at the moment. Packing up her things, Kurumi cleaned up her work station, returned any left over ingredients to the storeroom, and poured herself a vial of the potion to be used for homework. "Thank you, Professor Lafay," she said with only a slight sniffle before heading out the door. |
After the last student left the classroom, she locked the door behind her. |
