Indya noticed the older girl do this and chuckled silently to herself. Maybe being at Hogwarts wasn't going to be SO bad if this kind of thing happened!!

"Really?" Sky replied. "How does have she any friends? My name's Sky, by the way. What's your's?"

Wist shrugged. "Actually, I only knew her yesterday. Maybe she's not like that ALL the time." Then she replied "I am Wist. Nice to meet you."


Wist looked at the other girl in confusion. What was she laughing at?

Maria smiled. "Second" she said. "You?"

Aurora noticed the little firstie watching and winked at her, there was a sensible kid. Maybe she should take her under her wing...

WHHAAATTTTT??!! Didn't this first year know who she was?!?! Didn't this first year even know how to respect people!!?? Aurora might be mean, she might be obnoxious and she might even be sarcastic and arrogant but she never, ever talked like that about someone behind their back. Especially not if they were in listening distance!

Aurora looked round to the kid. "I have plenty of friends, for your information. It might help that I don't talk about people behind their backs." she hissed. Honestly, this kid was lining herself up for a whole load of accidental testing... and a lot of Aurora's potions were nasty.

Standing up, the red-headed snake went over the the first years. "Will you two stop talking about me! Or I will curse that stupid moustache to your face PERMANENTLY!" Aurora growled. "Colouro!" It had to have hit this time... surely? The girls moustache should have turned a bright, radioactive green but Aurora didn't wait around to find out, she stalked back to her seat and sat with her back to the kids, pointedly listening to the other conversations going on around her.

Indya looked up from her book to make sure that no one had heard her. A girl caught her eye, a look of sheer confusion on her face.
"Drat!" she muttered to herself before sighing and sinking even further into her seat.

"Nice to meet you too," Sky replied. "I hope she's not like that all the time. I have nice bag of muggle tricks I could introduce her to," she chuckled. "By the way, how'd you get that mustache, and did it changed color?"

Wist laughed. "I have some tricks too. Yeah, she gave me the moustache because I refused to put one on a armour." Then she noticed that her moustache HAD changed color. Wist jumped up and approached the other girl. 'Turn it back NOW." she snapped.

Indya smiled shyly at the older girl and secretly hoped she'd come over to talk to her. But she'd never admit that to anyone!

After finally getting the owl about the meeting, Matt headed into the common room; joining his housemates at the study tables, being distracted by finding out what was going on in the school now definitely wasn't a good thing since it was quite imperative that he attended the meeting with the Head Boy and Girl. Maybe you should have thought about showing up sooner.. Usually he was quite good with showing up on time but at least he hadn't missed it all together. Looking around the area, he noticed that there were many more students than the previous term; it seemed as though it was more of the younger years as well so that was a bit interesting.

Oh no, she had messed with the wrong first year. Sky quickly pulled a stink bomb out of her pocket, snuck behind the girl, lit it and quickly threw it on the girl. She then ducked down and scurried back to her seat before it could go off.
"Phew! Who did that?" Sky cried when the bomb went off (on the mean girl, of course).

Wist laughed so hard she fell to her knees. Sky was clever! Of course, the other girl would probably know who did it, but it was still clever. Wist was about to pat Sky and tell her what a good joke that was, but then she decided againts it, just in case the other girl DIDN'T know who had thrown it.

Sarah snapped her book shut and turned around. She grinned, A PERSON! "Hi, Melchior, it seems we have met again. What about that?"

She pulled her skirt down irately, the thing was still getting on her nerves. She felt like she was walking around half naked or something, she was showing so much leg. GAH! As soon as possible, she was changing into sweatpants. Sweatpants and sneakers. Lovely, comfy sneakers.

"Sit down," she invited after a moment of wrestling with her cursed mean skirt.

Aurora burst into fits of laughter. "Are you sure? I could make it a nice dark green instead. Show some house pride?" she managed through fits of giggles. She was astonished that the girl didn't ask her to take it off immediately... oh well. She made a show of putting her wand away. "You should learn to ask nicely you know." she said. "Then you might get what you want more often."

Out of the corner of her eye Aurora caught the young girl smiling and grinned back mischievously. "No, excuse me." she said to Wist. "But I am going to meet someone with a sense of humour. When you figure out how to be polite you can come over and ask me to remove the moustache, until then, please leave me alone."

And with that, Aurora went to sit with the other firstie. "Hello, I'm Aurora." she introduced herself, rocking back on her chair.

Aurora noticed the girl put her hand in her pocket and muttered "Protego." The stink bomb that was immediately thrown at her bounced back to it's owner. "You do realise we will be eating in here... and now you've let that off." She cast a bubblehead charm on herself and walked off to sit with the good first year, where it didn't smell.

Wist rolled her eyes. "I can get it off on own, thank you very much!" she shouted after her.
Wist soon stopped laughing when she remembered that Slytherin was lowest right now with points. Maybe throwing a stink bomb wasn't the best idea.

"Why are you singing?" Maddy was getting anoyed, this girl was a good singer but Maddy coundnt hear Arianna!"doesnt hogwarts have a choier or something?"

Sky grinned at Wist, who was laughing so hard she had fallen. Actually, Sky was laughing herself. It was a good prank, and if the older was listening that closely, she should've known something was coming.

Indya was taken aback as Aurora sat down and introduced herself. She was the first person to have properly talked to her since she arrived.
"Hi Aurora," Indya smiled as she put her book down, "I'm Indya. I'm new here as you can probably tell." She laughed nervously. "What year are you in?"

Wist grinned back, but then lowered her voice so that only Sky could hear. "Nice prank, but all the same, don't throw anymore right now. Slytherin is bottm on the list for points. Nice prank, though..."

Indya... "Nice name, I'm a third year." she said. Well, at least some of the first years were polite. "How are you enjoying Hogwarts so far?" she asked, flicking her long red curls back over her shoulders.

It did look like a feast didn't it.. "Do you think they put it together all by themselves?" Or maybe they had help from the house elves, but she thought she had heard something about a strike. That was probably why there was green goo on her fork at the feast. She was really curious about it all, what would make them angry enough to stop working?

"I don't know.." she said when Raven mentioned all the other first years she glanced around, it was true it was mostly older students. She saw the head of houses and smiled politely at them, she wanted to be on their good side, besides they had done all this for them.



Just then Lana walked in, good talking would distract her from her hunger, and all the delicious, mouth watering, amazing looking.. ok stop it Desiree. Ehem. food that was in front of her. Smiling she greeted her friend as she took the seat next to her.

"Hi Lana, Don't worry, it hasn't even started yet." putting a strand of hair behind her ear she added, "So what exactly is this meeting about?" She had an idea, and it involved the fact they were at -35 points in only the first week. It was terrible, but they could earn it back, she had faith in them. It would be amazing, first year at Hogwarts and her house had already won the house cup.

Luckily, Sky had ducked and was halfway back to seat before the older girl's shield charm was up. So, the stink hadn't hit her, either. And she'd decided to ask her mother some of her delicious cookies. So no need to eat here…

"Yeah, I'm realizing that probably wasn't a good after all. She just got on my bad side…" Sky replied.

Aurora scowled, this kid was in for a tough year if she didn't buck her ideas up. She was already probably on the verge of losing points and if she lost the precious five points that Aurora had managed there would be trouble.

Ooh, a third year. "Hmmm," Indya thought to herself, "Friends in high places and all that." Yes, here was the true Slytherin inside her rearing it's ugly head. She must make sure she stayed on Aurora's good side.
"Errrm... not too bad. Not that I've really seen or done anything other than read my book since I got here. But it's looking up now!" She smiled broadly, her book now forgotten.

Hmmm, a bookworm..? "Tell me, do you like potions?" Aurora asked. Because she could use an assistant... or at least someone she could help and be helped in return...
