Her bag of goods was gone. No where to be found! Missing! AWOL! Playing hooky? Which only meant one thing...either it'd been candy-napped or developed a sentient conscience and ran away for fear of being devoured. Or you know, the more probable answer...she'd dropped them AND THEN they'd been candy napped. She couldn't really blame who ever it was really. There was a good haul of assorted delights in there. Nevertheless, she was keeping her eyes peeled. Realizing she come right back around to the front of the train, she gave a huge sigh. One that sent strands of hair flying out of her face. The best course of action was probably to buy another stash for the year all over again. Just in case she didn't successfully hunt down her own. Stepping forward to join in the line, she waited patiently eyes still looking around. That is until she realized she was humming under her breath along with some unknown tune. Paying attention now, the corner of her lips lifted up in a smile as she recognized the source. "Hey you." For some reason, her lips kept wanting to widen in a bigger smile. Maybe she was developing a twitch? |

"HUGO!" she chirped as her arms wrapped around him. "You have no idea how happy I am to see you." Not that she didn't like talking with all the first years, but she was glad that she didn't have to feel the pressure of being, well, SOMEONE. "My summer was fantastic...and odd. I went to New York to study abroad at the Wizarding United Nations and then spent a week in Florida at Disney World before heading back to Japan for the remainder of the summer. How was yours?" |
[QUOTE=WitchLight27;10600399]She noticed another one coming to their direction. It's really becoming quite fun to stay in a place like these instead of the compartment. "Yeah of course. But don't you want to find a compartment first for your owl? You love it don't you?" she beamed. "I left my cat at my compartment. There's the trolley there, you can buy some food if you're hungry."[QUOTE/] Raven smiled, "Oh, do you mind if I put my owl, Addison, in your compartment? If you tell me what your cat looks like, you don't have to get up to show me. Then I can be right back. You are right, there really is no room in this trolley for an owl." |

*sigh* His song was almost coming to an end, and that was when he realized that he wasn't the only one humming. He listened closer, not turning around to see who was humming a harmony with him. Until she spoke. Looking over his shoulder, Dallin smiled at Ivory. "Hey." Turning around fully, his smile got a bit wider. "Long time no see." Well, sorta. The last time he had seen her was at the Lagoon thing... and that was a few months ago. So, yes. He didn't ask how she'd been, though. He didn't want the question turned on him. Because he didn't have an exact answer to it yet. |

Sometimes. After all, sharing was caring, wasn't it. Gemelli seemed rather pleased with her gentle touch, his little head turning under her finger to get more petting. When she moved, the small bat shrank back into Salariel's shirt, hiding in the darkness once again. She winked at him! Winked. She couldn't make it more obvious that she wanted him! Salariel was in with a seventh year hottie. This train trip was officially worth the long hours. "Well... officially, I'm from Windmere, but last year I was from Trinidad, and when I was younger I was from Switzerland." Oh yes. He was a well-traveled man. "I was at a school for a year, but last year I had a tutor." |

Selina walked aimlessly through the train trying to find some form of entertainment and failing at her task. It was just that the train added such extra anticipation for the coming school term that sometimes she wished they coyld just apparate to hogwarts. The train, as enjoyable as it could be, was like a confined excitement bin and Selina had very little patience. As she walked along the corridor she caught sight of the food trolley and stepped into a place online. Noting the girl in front of her she said, "How long does the line usually take?" |
sorry for the rushed reply, I wanted to reply before schoool! Quote:
Hug attack! This was... Nice... And sudden... Hugo awkwardly tried to return her hug. She was happy to see him? Now that made his heart all "d'awwwww" and fluffy. "I'm happy to see you to, it's been a while!" he said. And he was glad she was happy. Because she had been sad on a lot of occasions they had met. And now all happy and chipper. Goody. Oh the Wizarding United Nations. That was the name. In New York! "Wow, that's amazing!" he exclaimed. "You all had interesting summers, and I just slept for a big part of the day and ate a lot. I did get to see the French countryside though, which was pretty. But I didn't do much else," he nodded. "But, how was the studying then? What did you do? And Disney world? Awesome!" he rambled. |
have fun at school! study hard! *waves finger* Quote:
"Going to France is interesting," Kurumi laughed. "And rest is important as well." Kurumi moved to brush some of her hair over her shoulder, when it got caught on her badge and ended up tugging on her head. Ouch. "It was all fascinating," she began as she tried to untangle the knot of hair around her badge. "There were students my age from all over the world and we discussed current wizarding events and foreign Ministry policies. Mostly though, I just enjoyed being in America. It was my first time after all." Hair free now, Kurumi decided that the safe thing to do would be to tie it back in a pony tail. "I got to dress up as a princess for the day. Conan and his family were far too kind to me." |
Zhenya walked out of the compartment and headed towards the great mass of students. She waited patiently behind them, feeling so small. She turned to her new friend and said "What are you going to get? I think I might get a pumpkin pasty." |
Rafe stormed out of the compartment and felt a bit rude for leaving the pleasant company. But, he left with the intention to return. It wasn't like he was going to jump off the train. He really hoped Marilyn would follow him. He had so much to say to her. He just needed to explain. But, right now, he was more concerned about her attitude. Things weren't perfect between them, but were they ever? Why couldn't they just work past this. He wasn't pressuring her or pursuing her. He always loved having her as a friend. Marilyn was his best friend and he could tell her anything. And he still loved her dearly. |

She was talking to Carter now...and she was NOT going to have a repeat of Third Year. Following after Rafe probably hadn't been the best idea...but Marilyn felt it was important to do so. What am I doing? Spotting Rafe, she crossed her arms tightly. "What is it?" |

Glenn started scanning the crowd for her brother but couldn't see anyone she recognised. |
A couple of hours had passed when Charles finally woke from his nap. As soon as he awoke he noticed he was incredibly hungry. He went out of his compartment to find a food trolley serving out all sorts of amazing treats. He waited patiently behind the line until he was the only one left. He looked around at the cart and saw all sorts of curious snacks. There was a tall box labelled Bertie Botts Every Flavour beans, an octagonal container filled with supposed Chocolate Frogs and rows of Pumpkin Pasties. At least thats what he saw at first glance. There was much, much more but Charles decided to go with the beans and frogs. He hoped they would help settle the restlessness in his stomach as he went back to his compartment. He could feel they were close. |

"And secondly, I feel I owe you an apology. I put you in an awkward situation at the end of the term feast and it was rude and forced and I know you're with Carter..." Rafe put his hands on his hips and lost his train of thought. "Do I want pumpkin pasties or cauldron cakes?" Rafe then crossed his arms and was in a thinker's pose. "Oh, I guess, I'll take some sugar quills and chocolate frogs." Rafe reached in his pocket and pulled out some galleons, not realizing that something most precious to him clinked to the floor. "Um...maybe some pumpkin juice too?" Hmm...did he get everything. |
Quote:
And Rafe was seriously ordering food when he was meaning to speak with her? Totally rude...Something made a sound as it hit the floor and Marilyn eyes instinctively snapped down towards the object. Kneeling to the floor, she scooped up... Her grandmother's locket... Rafe obviously hadn't realized he'd dropped it, so she stuffed it in her pocket..determined to think about this later. It wasn't something the blonde was willing to even agonize over at the moment. "What did you want? I need to get back to my friends?" |

Marilyn gave him a critical look before sighing. "I'm going back to my compartment if all you're going to do is freak out...and act weird." Rolling her eyes, she turned to leave... Internally, however, she was pleased that he'd had her grandmother's locket. But why? It made no sense. Why hold onto something from an Ex? Well, Marilyn knew they'd been much more than a simply relationship any day...She felt bad deceiving Rafe in this way, but everything would be okay someday. Someday when she didn't have to live in fear. |

Rafe got off his knees and stood in front of her. "I miss you." Three words to replace what he really wanted to say. "I miss talking to you and right now there's so many things I want to say to you, to let you know. I want to tell you about my summer and the summer before. I miss having my best friend to talk to." Every bit of it was genuine and he really hoped she could get that. "I want you to ask me questions...questions that have been bothering you about me or your concerns...and I promise I will be honest with you. I let you know anything...because I've always been here for you." |
Quote:
For some reason, Marilyn couldn't look him in the eyes while she said this. It was hard to look at him, period. "There's nothing I need to ask you right now, Rafe. Simply because you and I are no longer together..." The words felt disgusting leaving her mouth, but it was something she needed desperately to say. "Maybe in a few weeks, months...years...Whatever...But right now, I cannot be around you." |
Salima walked from the middle compartment to the food trolley. 'Hello' she said in a friendly way 'can I have a licorice wand and two chocolate frogs please' |

Rafe still didn't understand. He could accept that she was with Carter now, but he didn't get why she was acting this way. "It's just like the box I gave you...I hope that one day it will open, but if it doesn't as long as you're happy and safe I can be content with your choice. I can...I can let you go. And I'm sure of it this time." Rafe wanted to reach out and hold her hand again, not as an extension of friendship, but comfort this time because he could see she was hurting. "You're safe Marilyn." |
Quote:
All this talk about letting her go was making her feel a little depressed. The box was in her bag back in the compartment...and had been with her all summer. Nothing had happened. It had not opened or gave Marilyn any signs that it had plans to do so..."I just feel like you and I...are a disaster waiting to happen...and before we hurt each other, I need to walk away...because even friends hurt each other." This was becoming serious fast... Spending all the time she had with Carter had been a catalyst for something...real. Things had been different in second year...easier...but now, she seriously believed she could fall in love with him. |
