Anyone??? Iris wandered into the common room on her own, still in her PJ's. Hermes the purple Pygmy Puff was sat on her shoulder, and her wand was in her pony tail. Sitting down on the couch, Iris decided that she might as well get her Charms homework done and out of the way. It was a simple enough homework, afterall. Putting Hermes down on the table, she decided that she was going to use him. He was all fluffy and, well, not shiny and definitely not smooth. He'd be a good subject to practice the charm on. Ha... practice. I already know this spell so well. Pointing her wand at the Pygmy, Iris thought of the incantation. Glisseo. She opened her eyes to find what looked like a very large, very wet strawberry bonbon where Hermes was previously sat. The poor Pygmy Puff clearly had no control of his body any more, and slowly started to roll off the table. Oops. |
I'm an anyone :D Quote:
Charms was easy. Samira was already talented at it, so why should she have to practice? The dark haired girl scowled a little and felt like forgetting about the assignment completely...but she didn't. Couldn't. Then she would feel incomplete, so to say, and couldn't just let it go. As she strode into the common room, Samira stopped as she saw the Head Girl sitting there. Her eyes looked around, then almost hesitantly made her way over, feeling confident again after her first step. She sat down and looked at the Head Girl briefly. "Hello," said Samira politely, before setting her items on the table. "Charms assignment, too?" |

"Oh... bugger." Iris exlaimed, looking back to the table. Hermes had rolled away! She gave the girl a look that kind of said "this is what I get for trying to show off", before raising her wand. "Accio Hermes!" Much easier than actually looking for him... As the oversized, shiny, stawberry bonbon came flying towards them from under one of the other chairs, Iris lifted her arm to catch Hermes. "Oooh... you look annoyed with me." Oh my... The girl doesn't know this is a Pygmy. She probably thinks I'm talking to... well, a shiny, pink ball! "Finite." Iris muttered, grinning as the ball poofed back into it's furry, Pygmy Puff state. Homework done? Homework done. There was really no point doing a charm over and over if she already knew it well... Besides, Hermes really would get annoyed with her. |

sorry about the fail post :/ Quote:
Blink. Was the Head Girl talking to...to...what is that? Samira tilted her head in confusion. Maybe it was an older student type thing. Her eyebrows shot up in understand as Samira saw that the little ball thingy was actually a pygmy puff. That explained a lot. "He's cute," commented Samira simply. "His name is Hermes?" Samira loved that name; it was unique. With a jerk, Samira realized she hadn't even properly introduced herself. "Sorry. Um, I'm Samira. Samira Spinks." |
Text Cut: Such a misunderstanding queen ...maybe. But he was subjective when it came to personal cases as such, of course. He wouldn't just admit to Marie that he had the right to taunt Carter, but the Gryffindor didn't. Instead, he just shrugged and let the topic pass. He didn't want her to get angry again. GOD! Why did she have to understand everything so WRONGLY?! Opening his arms to both sides as if in desperation, he objected passionately. "When did I say that, please enlighten me, Miss!" Merlin! "I merely said I believe you didn't like Carter. Did I ever--ever--pronounce Finn or Matty?!" She had a really interesting way of thinking; she could even be a kind those Muggle doctors were yet to discover. Those doctors should study her mind instead of animals... she'd be much more interesting, no doubt. ...girls could be so naïve sometimes. "Because it's done to me," he explained. "I don't like it at all, of course. But I'm saying I'd have done the same." Hopefully she'd understand now. Oh, she misunderstood AGAIN! Waving his hand impatiently, he said "I'm not saying keep them physically apart. I am very well aware that they're close friends, thank you." He wasn't an idiot or something, thank God. "I'm asking you to keep an eye on them and if Carter ever tries any trick, y'know, warn Mina." Did she get it now? It was the most sensible thing to ask in such circumstances. |

Oh gee, that made perfect sense. NOT! "That still doesn't make it right Evan. Haven't you ever heard of Do unto others as you would want done unto you? If you don't like it then why the hell would you do it to someone else?" Why? Because he's a snake that's why. "You know what, it doesn't matter what you're saying. I'm NOT keeping an eye on anyone. I'm not anyone's babysitter. Mina is a big girl, she can take care of herself and if you had any faith in her then you would know that. You would know you wouldn't have anything to worry about." Obviously Evan didn't think much of Mina either if he didn't trust her around Carter, if he thought Carter would so easily be able to steal her away from him in his absence. Then again, it was probably his guilty subconscious talking... seeing as how he had pretty much cheated on Mina with Sophie. |

Heh. Because he was a snake any liked to take whatever advantage he could take? But he remained silent on that, plus he still had to calm down from the previous... little retort. Oh, great. She got it her way again. "I'm not implying I don't trust her," he said coldly, eyeing her for a few moments to make sure that sank in. "I don't trust him. What if he says 'I heard Evan's up to no good with other girls in Liverpool.'? The whole world knows he doesn't like us dating, he might as well take this chance to break us up." |

"Fine, you didn't think it either. But you still didn't answer my question. I should be use to that by now though. You never give me a straight answer, you always talk around what I say to you." If he ever gave her a straight answer she would probably fall over from shock. Oh and he just had to keep running his mouth didn't he. "My nightmare-like ideas and silly misunderstandings? Gee Evan, why do you bother with talking to me at all if I'm just going to twist everything around? Why do you even bother with being my friend?" Standing up she looked down at him sitting there. "Let me help you out here. You won't have to worry about me and my nightmare-like ideas and silly misunderstandings anymore. I'll stay away from you and you stay the hell away from me. Then you won't have to try to explain anything to me ever again." And he wouldn't have to worry about her not so skinny self sitting on his legs ever again either. |

Looking down at her feet, Aiden points her wand towards the carpet. After taking a deep breath, she cites the incantation. "Glisseo," the carpet becomes smooth and slippery. Looks more like a yoga mat to her. It is better if she turns it back to it's original state before someone else sees it. Pointing her wand at the carpet again, Aiden mutters the counter-spell. "Finite Incantatem!" |
