lolol. just fyi: he isn't new and he isn't a girl :P Quote:
Then again, he couldn't exactly be one to talk, what with 'bumph'. "Sup, man?" Alex nodded to the boy who'd come on over. He was familiar, though Alex couldn't remember seeing him over the past year. But then, he waaaas a slight hermit. |

"Heya. Cass. I'm awesome..!!" Freya said cheerful. "I can't wait to enjoy summer holiday after all that exhausted exams." she let out a small sighed. But then she gonna miss all her friends here. "Have you seen Fee?" she asked. "I haven't seen her around." |
quick fail!post. Quote:
She nodded in agreement, about the exam things. "Me too. I completely messed up my OWLs. I think it's a family thing though. My brother screwed up on his, too. Had to resit his 5th year." Le siiiigh. Even if she did really badly, Iris was NOT resitting her fifth year. No way. After having a quick scan down the table, Iris started to tap her fingers on the table. WHAT?! A seemingly insane guy who DECLINED the chance to dress up as something stupid?! "You didn't go because you didn't want a girl to think it was a date... Geez. Guy's brains are more confusing than girls." Iris looked at him. "But yes. I went." Should she go into details? Because really, the ball wasn't THAT good. Aaron turning up was what made the night awesome for her. It'd have been pretty dull otherwise... "It was good... You missed a kid in a banana suit that was treating the fruit salad like family. It was weird." Quote:
Just as she was about to speak up and say 'hello', Aaron said something rediculous to Alex. 'Howdy' ... America had turned him insane. Iris made an odd giggle-snort sound as she looked at him. After a moment or too, Iris raised her eyebrow at Aaron, 'Howdy?' ... REALLY, Aaron? She was trying not to laugh at his facial expression, but he looked more suprised at his words than she did. Iris looked back to Alex. Oh... yeah. They didn't know each other. "Aaron, Alex. Alex, Aaron." |

Yea, it was either Destiny or Marie… But, forget about quidditch. Marie was going to tell her where she got the SHINY from! Leaning forward against the table so she could get a better look at the bracelet, her smile faded as quickly as a drop of water would evaporate in a searing hot pan. James? The Ball? STALKER DUDE!? Leaning away from the bracelet, her eyes flickering to the even more shiny that it seemed to possess, she said nothing nor moved. Huh. No way was she going to agree that he had good taste, even if he did. "It's alright." Shrugging her shoulders, she took out her wand and went back to poking her silverware. Pfft. Quote:

Did Destiny just giggle? Glancing towards her other friend that soooo obviously and thank Merlin did not have her eyes on Stalker Dude, Evelyn craned her neck to see who in the world she was looking at. Eh? She couldn’t tell. Maybe it was that Frenchie dude. She seemed to be giggly over him every now and then. Pfft, French. Mr. Mysterious was soooo much better. And Salander was soooo much better than the French dude too. Much more interesting as well as the topic they were discussing. Teehee. "His name…is Raiden Jr." STARE. She was staring for any signs of lip twitches that could form into laughing smiles, chuckles, goofy grins, or anything of the sort that would cause the boy to get a face full of potatoes once the food arrived. So…STARE. |

Hey, those things existed. "I was trying to be remembered for something this year, since I spent like six years at this place as... well... as part of the furniture, I guess. And I might be remembered, but not for anything good or even long lasting." He trailed off and looked straight across from where he sat. There was a fireplace on the wall which wasn't yet lit. "Still time for a food fight," he grinned, turning to Iris and winking. Hehe, he was telling a Prefect his plans. That was liberating. "And... well, you are right, about the brains thing. But I'm not an ordinary guy," Alex grinned slyly. And it was right 'ordinary guys' had some kind of love or at least lust inclination. Alex stayed away from any kind of romance. It wasn't his thing. And that made him different, or, as his mother put it, special. "I would love to have a fruit salad family..." When he was introduced to the other boy, Alex leaned right forward over the table and extended his arm to this Aaron kid, giving him a smile. "Well, Aaron... howdy." Couldn't resist. |
...figured I should post in here. O_O anyone can feel free to grab him. He'd taken his time getting to the feast this time. Raiden had spent a rather long time in his dorm, first digging through his belongings and making sure they were all there. Then he'd gone about figuring out how to cut his own hair, because he'd said he'd only keep it long until the end of term, and he was sticking to that. It was short again, a bit shorter than it had been for the last half of the term, and one hand anxiously ruffled it as he stepped into the great hall. His stomach felt painfully tight as he approached the Slytherin table. The last time, his thoughts reminded him. This was his last time here. And he probably wouldn't even be able to eat, because the constant reminder was making him feel ill. Hands deep in his pockets, he made his way down the table, looking from person to person as he went down the row. Some would be leaving with him this term, but most would be back again. He paused a bit off from where Destiny and Evelyn were, and Marie, and bit back the smile threatening to form on his face. They'd still be here... hopefully they wouldn't get into too much trouble. Heh. Absently, he turned his attention to where the book was. That book. The one he'd never thought he'd be writing in. He'd... he'd have to do that, sooner rather than later. Though who knew what he'd end up writing. For now, though... he needed a seat. Hmm. |
Raiden... please don't go! Lexi was walking over to search for Dylan when Raiden walked right in front of her. She heaved a great sigh and basically pounced on him with lotsa huggles. Sniffling slightly she said, "Raiden, I am going to miss you so much! Are you sure you can't stay a while longer here... I mean, I am sure none of the staff would mind." She so didn't want to say goodbye to him. She looked up at him and wibbled a little, tears brimming her eyes. |
Evelyn and... Raiden! (incredible timing lol!) SPOILER!!: Evehleeen Raiden Jr?...... His brows went up as his mouth opened to a guffaw... and thats as far as it got. Evelyn was staring him down like she was about to telekinetically split his head open. "Good name, good name!" he blurted instead as he raised his goblet in toast, then downed the pumpkin juice quickly, drowning the riotous cackle that was bursting to come out. He set his goblet back down and nodded with utmost sincerity "Raiden would be proud." he added. Sure he would, if he wanted to be named after a creature that looked like a poster child for Clearasil. And speaking of the Clabbert-- "Hey Raiden!" the Slytherin lad called out as he spotted the Prefect. He couldnt wait to see that look on his face when he sees Junior. |
Lexi & Salander~ He'd paused, considering circling the table for a seat on the other side, when someone promptly grabbed him. He immediately tensed, out of surprise, before he realised just who it was. A bemused smile crossed his face and he gave her lots of cuddly hugs back. "No tears, silly. I'm still here for a little while," he murmured, patting her cheek gently. "While I'm sure some of the staff wouldn't mind my sticking around... I think the rest of the world would take issue with it." Because he was eighteen, and an adult, and while he certainly hadn't learned all that there was to learn... he'd taken up his time at Hogwarts. It was others' turns, now. He was pretty sure he'd only be in the way were he to lurk around for any longer, heh. "You'd get tired of me if I didn't leave anyway, I think," he added playfully. "I can be terribly boring sometimes." His attention was diverted when he heard his name being called, and he looked toward where it had come from. Salander was fairly closeby, so Raiden kinda tugged Lexi along with him toward where the Slytherin was... with Evelyn, it seemed. And... some thing. No clue what that was. "Not causing trouble are you, mate?" he asked with a grin. |

Raiden Lexi smiled sadly up at him when he embraced her and then patted her cheek. "You wouldn't be in the way. Who is going to look after me next term, Raiden? You AND Dylan are leaving. Too much is changing and I don't like it," she said stubbornly as she rubbed at her eyes with the sleeve of her robes. Still clinging to Raiden she allowed him to tug her closer to Salander. She scowled at him for a moment, still not having forgave him for vomitting outside of Lexi 1's door. But, she couldn't stay mad when she was so sad that they were all leaving to go home soon... and some weren't going to come back. Wibble. Finally loosening her grip on Raiden she peeked around to see what Sal and taht weird girl had done. Surely it was something ridiculous. |

This seemed acceptable enough. Enough to put the smile back on her face. "It is, isn't it?" she agreed, looking down to the little Hearing the Slytherin call out to the actual Raiden though, Evelyn whipped her head around to see if he was actually there. Oh goodness, he was. Eep! SPOILER!!: the actual Raiden and Lexi And he was getting closer! Evelyn was beginning to become slight self conscious of her little creation. It wouldn't be embarrassing at all that she named a clabbert after him would he? Would he find it funny? Well she did... But there was more to it then a name. "Hello Raiden." she smiled when he was close enough to talk to Salander. "And...you." Mmhmm, that Gryffindork girl, whatever her name was. Laney? Lyra? Something. Not that it really mattered. The Slytherin didn't talk to the girl, so she didn't need to know her name. |
The She-snakes, Sal, Lexi and Raiden Although she was a Huffie, Mia couldn't help feeling drawn to the Slytherin table probably because she seemed to know more Slytherins than she did her own house. She spotted Evelyn, Destiny, Marie and Sal about half way down the table and gave them a wave as she began to walk towards them but before she could make her way to them, she spotted someone else. Raiden. This would be the last time that she got to speak to him before he left Hogwarts forever. Ugh this was just too sad. Stepping up beside him, Mia wrapped her arm around his waist. "I'm going to miss you Raiden." Even though they didn't really get to talk that much during the term, Mia considered him to be a pretty good friend. And speaking of friends, she noticed Lexi standing on the other side of Raiden. "Hey Lexi. How are you doing?" Gosh she hadn't spoken to her for a while nor Finn for that matter. Something she should rectify very soon. |
You know who you are! :) Lexi looked at the weird Slytherin girl and pursed her lips for a moment. "Lexi. My name is Lexi," she said quietly. She didn't have any reason to dislike the girl. Not at all, but she wasn't gonna have sleepovers and braid her hair or anything like that. Meh. Then Mia arrived. Patting her arm that was around Raiden's other side she smiled genuinely. "Hey Mia! Me... I was doing better when I was still in the dorms," she said with a weak smile as she blotted at her eyes again. She then began to scan the Great Hall for Finlay. Sigh. He had to be there somewhere. She knew she had been hogging him lately and that he should see his friend before they left for Greece. |
SPOILER!!: Raiden, Evelyn, Lexi As Raiden moved closer to where they sat, Salander spotted the Gryffindor blond. Uhoh she's scowling. "Hi Lexi..." he managed to drawl out under an awkward grin. She couldnt possibly still be angry with him for what happened at Carlton's office could she? Besides, he had a valid excuse for that little stunt. Head of House approved too! His' though not hers heh. He scoffed good naturedly at Raiden's question "Me? Cause trouble? Wouldnt dream of it...." he smirked. And its true... he couldnt cause trouble when he's asleep. His eyes shifted between Evelyn and Lexi. They dont know each other? Well that can be fixed "Evelyn this is Lexi.... Lexi... Evelyn." he said as he started the introductions, then spotted his favorite Hufflepuff join them-- "And everyone this is Mia!" Did they all know her already? He didnt know, and besides, he just needed another excuse to say her name. heh. |
To you, and you, and you, and you and everyone else. The giggling HAD to stop. Destiny Shepard was losing cool points every time a giggle left her mouth and considering she lacked cool points to begin with, this was not helping her much. Placing her hand on her mouth, she gave her lips a squeeze, so that she sorta kinda resembled a duck. Who cares what she looked liked, the giggles stopped. She should have sat next to Evelyn, that way she wouldn't have been able to look at the Beauxbatoner, but that THING, it was creeping her out and she didn't want to sit next to it..even if he did share the same name with THE BEST Prefect EVERRRRR. But..he was a Raiden Jr..meaning.. Sweet Merlin! Evelyn was crazy! Giving her friend a look, Destiny took her hand off her lips because there was no way she'd be able to giggle NOW. She was just about to suggest covering the 'Clabbert' with a napkin, you know, so people wouldn't be jealous of the masterpiece, when she heard a commotion going on over the real "RAAAAAAIDEN!" Cue frantic waving at everyone. |
Who was... Raiden looked at Lexi, one eyebrow raising in surprise. "Somehow I think you won't need looking after, Lexi." One hand patted her shoulder, and a half-smile flickerdd across his lips. "You're going to be a fifth year. You're plenty old enough to look after yourself, aren't you?" They all kinda were. Evelyn, and Destiny, and Marie and even Sabel and Arya were. They'd be able to handle themselves, at least he believed so. It was a bad habit, he'd realised... he knew he was growing older, and recognised it, but somehow he'd refused to really acknowledge that others were as well. He gave Evelyn a nod, and was about to return her greeting when another arm slid around his middle. Automatically, his arm slipped around whoever it was, and he was squishing Mia before he even realised it was her. The prefect gave her another squeeze and tried to not laugh. "Maybe for a little while. But there are plenty of other interesting people here for you to talk to," he said, nodding. "You'll have plenty to distract you." Destiny was... having a bit of an excited fit. Raiden couldn't stop the snort of laughter as she yelped out his name and started waving, and he returned the wave, though not with her level of... er... enthusiasm. "Good, mate. Because your next prefect might not be as nice as I am," he shot at Salander, a grin playing across his face. "If I hear much about Slytherins ending up in detention next term... might have to come back here and have a bit of a lecture at you all, won't I." Yup. Big, scary Prefect Kururugi. The one that had been stuck with kitty ears for three or so weeks. Totally intimidating. |
Rearranging you pretty people SPOILER!!: Sal Mia's eyebrows shot up as Sal decided to introduce her to people she already knew. People she actually already considered friends. SHE was the one who had introduced him to Marie after all. But she didn't comment on it. Instead a smile spread across her face and she threw him a wink. "How are you doing Sal?" Apparently he was doing alright seeing how he was surrounded by a bunch of girls. "Plan on rocking out over the summer?" SPOILER!!: THE one and only Raiden Ooooh that squeeze tickled and Mia found herself squirming a little and a small giggle erupting from her lips. So she gave him a squeeze back. "You're right, I know but still I did enjoy my talks with you." Even though they could be rather bizarre at times. Well her side of the conversation was bizarre. She rested her head on his arm and sighed. "Yeah but the one distraction that I am really rather fond of is leaving as well." Okay she needed to stop that because this was not about her right now. "Can I write to you?" Mia totally heard Destiny's squeal, how could she not and she couldn't help but grin over in her friend's direction and waving at her with her free hand. Thank Merlin there was no music at the closing feast that way the two of them couldn't make fools of themselves...again. SPOILER!!: Lexi Seems Lexi was sad that Raiden was going as well. Mia was sad too but she was not gonna cry...she hoped. "I know what you mean." She said with a nod of her head. Actually Raiden and Nik were the only ones she knew that were leaving. "So where is that boyfriend of yours and what are you two planning for the summer?" |
all of you lovely peeps *mwah* Lexi sighed and gave Salander a smile (as half hearted as it might have been) and returned his greeting, "Hey Sal. Ready for holiday?" She would have to forgive him and Fletcher eventually... maybe. Fletcher spit muffin on her though, that might never be forgiven. She sighed as she looked up at Raiden and gave a little shrug. "Might need someone to keep me in line, ya know. I guess I am grasping at straws really. I don't want anyone to leave," she said with a chuckle. It was true though... she probably did need someone to keep her out of trouble. Heh. Her attention going back to Mia she smiled. "I am not sure where he is. Might be doing his hair still," she said with a giggle. Then she replied, "My family is taking us on holiday to Greece at some point. But I am going to go away with my brothers before that. One last outing with all of us before Dylan leave for WADA." Oh that made her want to wibble like whoa. |
SPOILER!!: Trixie is way too intense. xD <333 So this is why Trixie had been taking so many pictures! A imaginary lightbulb lit up above Oliver's head as he flicked through the pages once again. Guah! She'd captured the John Travolta moment! Hehe! That was cringeworthy and yet hilarious at the same time. He grinned at Trix, but the smile soon faded into seriousness when she looked away and at her lap. No eye contact? He frowned as he embraced her, his other arm curving around her holding her as she sobbed her little heart out. Gulp. This was almost too much to cope with. “...I love you too.” He said gently. “But hey.. this isn't goodbye, is it? It's not the end of the world” He let out a shaky sigh. “We'll see each other in the holidays... even some weekends when you can get away.” Gulp. And he didn't have anything else he could give her. Emotionally drained and fighting the urge to just break down and let it all out himself, he rocked her gently in his arms, praying, maybe rather selfishly, for her to stop crying. |

SPOILER!!: What do you mean by that? xox This was just breaking her heart. You could practically hear it cracking the more he spoke, or the more she sobbed, or the closer the time came before they'd had to board the train and Oliver would never return here again. Where Trixie had to endure days upon days of being lonely and not seeing her bestie and apart from her parents, he truly was the most precious thing to her in the World. *Sob* The Slytherin had probably never cried so much, not even when she got Stupefied, not even at home or whenever. She'd cried, on quite a few occasions, just, never that much. It was surprising how many tears the Seventeen year old could produce as they came splashing down on top of the table. She clung hold of him as he wrapped both arms around her, probably looking like a right old state, eyes red and puffy, certainly not like her usual self. But she couldn't stop. Simply couldn't stop. And she was probably now getting him soaking wet with her tears, but she knew he wouldn't mind, at least she hoped he wouldn't, as she wasn't moving from here. "....But not the way I do" she muttered tearfully, her voice quavering. She hadn't even realised she said it, it had just come out. But it wasn't going to remain a secret for long anyway was it. Someone would probably end up telling him. She turned away quickly after the sudden realisation of her words. "No. You'll forget about me. You'll move in with Cam and be too distracted to even have a flicker of thought about me" she stated through blurry eyes. And she believed that. Why would anyone remember her when they were out in the big wide world trying to remember other things. She set off again, though she felt incredibly comforted by his rocking. She wanted to stop crying, but she couldn't control it. It just... came. |
He left the Gryffindor table and made his way over to his own Slytherin table. He was surprised to see a number of other houses, though he shrugged. He had been sitting at the lion's table for a bit after all. He scanned the crowd looking for Selena, but he didn't find her. Diggy looked around the Great Hall seeing if he could spot her mop of brown hair. He sat down a little disappointed that she wasn't in the Great Hall. Coming to the end of the term he found that he didn't want to go home as much as he thought he wanted to...if that made sense. |
