Soibhan along with her trolley and cat Merlin on a leash walks back and forth between platform 9 and 10. She starts to panic. " Where is platform 9 3/4/?"she seyes out loud. Merlin looks up at Soibhan and meows loudly at her. " No, Merlin I cant play now we've got to find the entrance way to the train."Merlin pulls the leash leading her to the brick wall arch between platform 9 and 10. Jerking the leash hard Merlin slips out of his collar and runs through the wall."What the ..."Soibhan runs with the trolley eyes closed through the brick wall as well. Opening her eyes she sees a sea of parents and children, her cat Merlin jumps on the trolley. As Soibhan slips his collar back on ( a little tighter this time) she looks up and gasps. The great red train with white smoke puffing out of the top and the words Hogwarts Express is right in front of her. Making her way to the train mouth gaped at all she sees around her she yells " Yes! I love magic!" |
Keefer suddenly appeared on the platform, looking as if he had skipped his way through the barrier. Skipping was really the best way to get around, after all. Breathing heavily, he stepped out of the way for his parents to get through. The three of them walked toward the train, his father pushing the trolley. They came to a stop near a door and Keefer left them momentarily to find a place for his luggage on the train. He returned and gave his parents swift hugs, favoring his mother with a small kiss. "I'm going to miss you guys." Forestalling his mother, who had just opened her mouth to speak, he said, "and I'll try to stay out of trouble, mum!" She gave him a wan smile. His father stepped forward and ruffled Keefer's fiery-red hair. "Do us proud, son." "Thanks, dad, I will. I promise." "And try to find yourself a pretty girl, eh, Keef?" Keefer turned away from his father, rolling his eyes. His lack of female magnetism seemed to have presented a personal challenge for his father, who was always a witches-man in his days at Hogwarts. Never mind that I'm only fourteen, only a fourth year... he thought. Well, I might as well find some people I know. Too bad there's always so much steam! He walked off, humming merrily to himself something that sounded awfully like God Rest Ye, Merry Hippogriffs. |
Kimalia rushed out arriving at Platform 9 3/4 with her older brother, Dennis as her parents were too busy with work to see her off at Hogwarts Express. While saddened, she was at least grateful to see them before leaving with Dennis. She was briskly walking with her cart of luggage as Dennis chattered her advice. "You're in Slytherrin, remember some people automatically will dislike you." He forewarned as Kimalia nodded. "Considering he got into Hufflepuff, I would think there would be an exception with at least one house not having prejudice against Slytherrin." She smiled though. "That won't matter, people will either love me or hate me." After her luggage was packed into the train she had to do the uneventful. She hugged Dennis and felt her eyes start to water, but she blinked the tears away. "I'll write to you guys bi-weekly, if I don't get too busy." She smiled as Dennis smiled too. "Yea right, I think you'd be only writing to respond us." He knew her too well. She kissed his cheek and waved good-bye before boarding on. "Don't have too much fun, the family expect you to learn too!" He shouted back at her. Kimalia turned on the step and waved one last time before stepping on. She barely managed to contain herself on jumping and screaming in excitement. She was on her way to Hogwarts. |
"Wow." Cassandra said when she arrived at the platform with her cart in front of her.She looked at the girl beside her and smiled at Heather, then she peered through the thick fog that was surrounding the station and looked around for a familiar face, after a few minutes of futile searching she decided to push onwards and board the scarlet covered train, slightly wondering if they would be segregated into their houses now. |

She fixed her flat ironed hair and her dress, and when everything looked ok, she waved at him. "Keefer!!!" she said with a big smile, ran up to him and gave him a bigg hug, and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Come sit with me?" she said sweetly, inches away from his face. Her breath smelled gooood! hehe. <3 |
Cora stepped through the wall and on to Platform 9 3/4 with her parents closely following her. She is their only daughter, and it was tough for them to let her go every year to school. Cora was not looking forward to this year at Hogwarts. Even though she was a fifth year. It was going to feel like she was a first year. Cora is a very shy person and in her previous four years at Hogwarts, she only managed to make one really good friend, Gretchen. This year though, she was alone because Gretchen and her family moved to the States and she could not longer attend Hogwarts. Cora's father looked at her and told her, "I know this year is going to be tough, but try to make some new friends. I know you will do well in your classes and don't forget to study hard because this is your O.W.L. year." She smiled and shook her head. Cora gave her father and mother a hug and kiss goodbye. Her mother whispered in her ear "I love you, Cora. Don't forget to write us when you get there." Cora then turned and pushed her cart with her trunk and new owl, Lily, toward the train so that she could get on and find a seat. |
And late as ever, Treyen totally levitated his trunk with Gilderoy the owl on top, because he could master that spell, and smiled when he eyed the Platform. Hogwarts is almost here! And he liked Hogwarts. Even if he was slightly saddened by the loss of Sir/Professor Kapoor, he was at the same time excited about the new year. Third year. That was one year older than before! He was moving places people! Treyen had already said his goodbyes back at home, so it wasn't a surprise when he simply waved goodbye (he knew his father was running late for work, anyway) at the tall Mr. Lockhart and...yes! He got inside the train, not even wondering if there was someone he knew outside it, see, he didn't want to be left alone in London. |

"I'm in Ravenclaw!" he said happily. "Well, heheh, I'm holding my pet right now." he said, as he gave a little jerk to the cage. "It's a barn owl, her name's Athena." He petted the owl's head. "My sister is a seventh year Huffepuff, and my brother trains owls in France for the Beauxbatons Academy. And you? What house are you in? Pets, siblings?" Hugo smiled. He looked around. The station was beautiful. |
Jenny bursted through the wall into Platform 9 3/4 with her trolley along with her parents. She couldn't believe her eyes; the Hogwarts Express train was right in front of her! This is the big day! "So remember," her mother said as she helped Jenny carry her trunk to the train. Boy was it heavy! She had to get the rest of her supplies last minute yesterday. "Make you do well in your classes, be friendly to others as much as possible, and take care of yourself well! Don't trip over yourself too much!" Jenny's father laughed. "It's okay, honey," he said to his wife in a slightly Japanese accent. "She can take care of yourself." Then he turned to Jenny. "Have fun at Hogwarts, okay, Jenny-chan?" "Okay, Dad, I will," Jenny smiled as she climbed on board. She tried hard not to fall on the steps. "I'll send you letters at least twice a week, I promise!" She yelled as she walked into the corridor. "Bye, Mum! Bye, Dad!" |

Taylor arrives on the platform pushing her trolley rather elegantly- and parent less, they were always too busy. She walks down the platform though all of the bustling and shoving- and looks for an empty carriage. |
Taylor gasped when she go through to the Platform. This was nothing like the transportation to her last school. She already loved the train. Then she looked at her brother Owen. "This is way cool!" she told her brother, who was draggin her trunk. He nodded and dropped the end of the truck he had. "Ok Sis. Got you here in one piece." Owen said. Taylor rolled her eyes. "I am so not going to miss you." she told him. She would though. She was at a new school and knew no one. Trying not to cry she turned to Owen. "I will write as often as I can." she told him. "You better. You know we are all going to want to know what you are up too. And if the kids are nice or not." he said with a smirk. Owen opened his arms so he could give his baby sister a hug. She gave him the hug he wanted and then he ruffled her hair. "Be good." he told her and then walked back the way they came. Taylor looked around. She followed what the other kids were doing and then got on the train to find a compartment. |

Three hour car trips with little sisters were not fun, Emily decided. This was the first time the whole family had come to see her off, because the first of september was a saturday this year, so neither of her parents were working. Her older sister Taysha was in a bit of a huff, having been peeled from her boyfriend to say bye to her sister. Emily grabbed her trunk and she turned to see her other sister playing with her wand "Becca, give me that!" She snatched the wand, stuck it in her jeans pocket and began to walk towards the platforms "Emmy, Emmy, whats that?" Becca asked, running up to her. She sighed and looked where the little girl was pointing "Its an owl Becca" The girl moved her finger up slightly to piont at its owner "Who's she Emmy? "I dunno, Ive never talked to her, but i think shes a fifth year...maybe a fourth year, i dunno i thinkher names ...Cora? Shes as Hufflepuff anyway."Emily hugged and kissed her parents and swung Becca in a circle. Taysha was on her iPhone again, so it was a one arm hug and a wave from her, then it was time to go. Emily walked up to the girl Becca had pointed out. Hey, cute owl! Im Emily by the way, wanna find a carriage? |
Tennessee, step foot again on Platform 9 and three quarters for the, hmmmm... nth time? She couldn't even remember how many times she had been there. Apart from the fact that shes back for her fourth year and glad that her brother was finally out of the school. She can finally do whatever she wants. She stretched out her hands a bit as someone behind her pushed her, causing her to lose balance and fall. "ouch!" She said as she stood up and faced the boy, who is obviously older than her. "Merlin's beard, Louie," she said as she tried to punch her brother. "You're getting on my nerves." Louie was chuckling on the other hand, "I'm just going to miss my little sister," he said as he pulled her into a brotherly hug. He took that time to rub her hair making it messier than ever. Tenn hated it so much when her hair gets tangled up. "Cut it out, Louie," she said as she pushed his brother's hand away from her precious hair. "I'm going to miss you too, but i'm glad you're over Hogwarts," she grinned. "And i better be off. I still have to find a seat for meself eh," she snapped her cart beside her brother and bid him goodbye. |

Rubiey ran through the barrier, tensed for the collision that never came. She opened her eyes timidly, and saw steam everywhere, and a bright red train infront of her. What seemed to be millions of people were milling around on the platform, but Rubiey wanted to get a seat somewhere. It didn't help she knew practically nobody. Her mother had not wanted to come to the station with her; she chose instead to go out with her boyfriend. Typical. Rubiey heaved her heavy trunk, and cage with her beautiful black owl, Gabilan inside, hooting serenely at passers-by. She struggled to pull it onto the train. Damn it, its too heavy. Rubiey started to panic. If she didn't get on the train soon, she'd miss it completely. HELP. |

"Rubiey?" she almost asked, hoping that it was the first year Gryffindor she had met. "Are you alright?" noticing that she was struggling with her suitcase and her Owl. They were obviously heavy, Trixie's were almost impossible to carry but she managed, being a trained dancer and things. The 16 year old took a hold of the trunk and dragged it up herself onto the train. She was always willing to help a first year. "Is that better?" she asked, just leaving the Gryffie to take her Owl up onto the carriage. |

"Yes, thanks so much. I shouldn't have packed so much!" She said, beaming up at the blonde girl. "How have you been?" |
