The picture showed her in a flowing, dark purple ball gown with sparkles and a sheer, glitter fabric that attached to her arms and the back of her dress to accentuate the flowing movement of her arms. Her hair was pulled up elegantly, and she had on evening makeup. She was posed in the picture with a man who was older than her with dark hair and pale blue eyes, dressed in a black suit with a purple tie that matched the color of her gown. Around both their necks was a gold medal hanging on a black ribbon."That's me at a ballroom competition." she said, smiling down at the picture. "My dance instructor just showed up at my grandparents' house all dressed up and said he had a surprise for me, said he was busting me out of prison for a little while. He took me to his dance studio by side-along apparation, and he had all these people fit the dress on me and do my hair and make up, and then we left for the ballroom competition. I competed in waltz, and I won. Then when we got back to my grandparents' house, they told me I couldn't keep the dress, so Jonathan kept it for me." Finally she took her eyes off the picture and smiled up at Tyler. |
"Oh, I guess that explains some things," he chuckled and looked at the picture. Cadence wearing a purple dress, standing next to a man. "So you used to compete in dancing," he said and gave the picture back. "Do you still dance even after all that stuff about being locked up?" |

"Anyway, yes, I can still dance. Very well actually. Waltz is my speciality, but I also love tango, fox trot, rumba, chacha, and east coast swing." She smiled as she remembered teaching Nate to waltz in the Room of Requirement. Looking back down at the picture, she suddenly felt a pang of guilt in her stomach. She had promised Jonathan she would write to him. She should go do that later. |
Cadence had been stuck in her room for so long, Tyler started to feel bad for her. But then he really didn't. If that would happen to him, he take that and grow from it. Not cry or get mad for any little thing. But Cadence was finally getting rid of that. Hopefully. "Ohhhh, so now you know other dances but the Waltz," Tyler chuckled and sat on his skateboard again. |

No. He wasn't going to ask Cadence to dance with him. He was just wondering since she was dancing with Nate in the grounds and used to dance in front of people. But after she told him her life story, it's something that came to mind. "I've been fine. Just getting a bit busy planning the trip back home with Luce and other stuff. How about you?" |

"Oh! You're taking Lucy home with you? That's fun! Nate and I are going to Florida to stay with his grandma over the holidays." She laughed, then, and said, "How about that! We're leaving for a different country, but we'll still be in the same country at the same time. Though I'll be much warmer." and she gave him a little smirk. Cadence didn't mind winter or the snow and cold at all, but she had never spent Christmas someplace warm before. It would be an interesting experience. |

Shrugs. "Yup, Luce and I are going to my home for Christmas," he said. Florida for Christmas? The heat versus the cold. Tyler would take the cold weather anytime. "You might be warmer, but New York City is more romantic then Florida," Tyler smirked back. Ha! Take that! |

Sad/Annoyed Face. "No teenager gets along with their parents. It's just the way some people are," Ty said and fiddled around with his shoelaces. Was he the only one in school who never wore the school robe? He was usually in uniform but wore sneakers, jeans and a hoodie. Shrug. "It does sounds weird, but make sure no crocodiles are around when you do," he said and chuckled a bit. Did she even know that? It rains almost every day in Florida. But Tyler hadn't been there in a while anyway. "We'll try to find something to do," |

Cadence suddenly realized Tyler thought she was going crazy again as she stood there smiling and blushing about nothing that he had any clue about. She tucked her hair behind her ear again. "So... uh... what were you humming?" |

Time to get new ones. "A song named 'Thanks for the Memories," |
