"Well why ask then ?" Menntaal flail. "what do you expect me to say ?! I like him thats pretty much all ther is to it, And WHY should I tell you if you wont tell me if you like Nikki or not ?" sigh.

Gosh he barely knew her secrets. "Oh please, I don't know your secrets and I'm not lying! I just like her as a friend...there I said it. Happy?" He scowled and swigged down the rest of his butter beer. So good.

"You can't just like him, Shana! Get a move on, flirt with him or something." Sigh, she needed to tell him. He was fully aware how frustrating it can be to have a crush on someone and not do anything about it.

Mina shrugged. "True, but I'm sure he'll be spending a lot of time with Marilyn, so I'm not sure we'll have all that many talks. Girlfriends usually come before girl friends." she explained. "Let's hope he can still make time for little old me." She was sure Carter would still time for her, well at least she hoped he would. "I'll keep that in mind. I do like castles a lot." she smiled at his offer.

" Trust me girl friends are truer than girlfriends" Jason explained to Mina. Jason Thought about the 15-20 girlfreinds, including one who became an ex-fiancee. Victoria is cool he thought to himself. " I am sure Carter will make time for you" Jason told Mina. " I am glad you like castles" Jason said to mina.

"Well, if he makes the time, I'll always be around for him. I'd make time for him, if I was dating someone," Mina explained as she sipped on her butterbeer. She was still harboring some feelings but she would never act on them. The friendships she forged meant more to her than a chance at what her silly little heart wanted. Pushing those thoughts from her head, she smiled at the thought of the castle. "I'll have to come to visit for sure. Got any cute neighbors?" she joked.

Yaaay! He was telling, the third year smirked slightly before clapping her hands together quietly. "Yes you do know my secrets. You know I like Jake thats the only secret ive got. You. You dont like her ?!" Shana beamed almost jumping off herset before giving Blake a huuuge hug. "Very And thank you." she smiled before going back and sitting in her own seat.

"Why can't I ?! Do you have any idea how hard it is to even talk to him. No I didn't think so." She rolled her eyes, glaring at Blake.

"Well, seems like Carter is a great freind, you best friend to me" Jason told Mina. " Ok, I will expecting you to be at the castle" Jason said to Mina. " My castle is far away from neighbors" Jason explained to Mina. " I have a lot of parties, so handsome boys will be there for you" Jason winked at Mina.

Mina tilted her head in thought. "I consider him a great friend, my best friend even. He has so many best friends as is, but he does hold a special place for me," she explained. "Parties? I like those as well. I'm sure I'll enjoy myself. I might even get all dolled up and stuff." she laughed. She was going to miss talks like this. She promised herself she would have to visit often.

Shaylee smiled and said, It's good. Best drink in the world. She took another sip and set the cup back down on the table.

" I hope I am close to a best friend to you just like Cater" Jason told Mina. " Well, I know you will look very pretty" Jason said to Mina. "We will still talk at the castle when needed" Jason explained to Mina.

" I knew you liked butterbeer." Jason told Shaylee. "What type of food do you like?" Jason asked Shaylee.

"Of course, you hold a special place for me too, silly. You boys are like the best friends a girl could ask for. I mean without you two I would probably spent all year studying in the library. I wouldn't have gone to any quidditch matches, I would have been a complete bore." Mina laughed. Those two really did help her come out of her shell this year. She couldn't have asked for better guy friends. "True," she nodded as she drank some more. "I'll be looking forward to those talks.""

Oh. You shouldn't have asked me that. I could go on for hours. But basically everything except for steak. Im not a big fan of steak. She said.

"Well, You are really not shy" Jason told Mina. " I bet you were your family's little girl or princess" Jason said to Mina. " I mean you were probably sheltered as a little girl" Jason explained to her. " You are fun at quidditch matches" he told her.

Mina shook her head and laughed softly. "Thank you, but I really am kind of shy. I've been here for almost a full term and I only have a handful of friends. I don't make friends that well, but when I do. They mean a lot to me," she explained. "Yeah, I'm kind of my father's little princess and girl. I'm the middle daughter, but I think it's because I'm more like him than my mother." she added as she thought about her family. She really did have a fairly big family and he was loved but something was still amiss. Shaking her thoughts, she smiled at the mention of quidditch. "I think you boys have made a big fan of me. I'm even thinking about trying out next year."

"Well you fooled me, I do not think you are shy" Jason told Mina. " Good, close friends are the best kind " Jason said to Mina. "Well father's aleways like their daughters and vice-versa" Jason reminded her. "Well, hopefully you will make the quidditch team Next year" Jason smiled at Mina.

She seemed happy that he didn't fancy Nikki and it was pretty clear why. They hated each other. "You're welcome.." He muttered glumly. Uh..he knew he was going to contradict himself later on. Gut feeling.

Tracing his finger in circles on the wooden table, Blake peered up at her and sighed, "I know it's hard but c'mon it's very unlikely that he'd kill you for liking him, so why not take a chance and just say it." He wasn't aware how it felt to be in her shoes, but - how hard can it be?

Shana smiled feeling a bit more happy now. She didn't not want Blake to like Nikki, or mabye she did but she wouldnt moan if he did. She frowned when he sounded all gloomy. "Blake, You know I won't mind if you do like her. You don't have to lie you know that right ?" She shrugged, hopefully he did know that.

He knew it was hard ? If he knew it was hard why was he telling her to do hard things ? Siigh. "Right. So If Helena didnt have a boyfriend you'd just go up to her and be all, Oh Helena I have a crush on you." she paused and eye'd the fourth year. "Thought not. And how'd you know he wouldnt kill me, he could get all anxious and hex me so bad that I'd die."

Oh boy, now she was making him feel bad for being sad. "I'm not lying... you'd be the first one to know if I ended up liking someone." Grinning at her, he gave her hand a light reassuring squeeze.

He never said it was hard for him, "It's not hard for me! I mean, you know..girls can't be so blunt about such issues." He'll probably smack his little sister if she came home with boyfriend, "Helena knew I liked her, we even kissed once." Hehe, he was still proud that he at least got to kiss his crush. "Any idea who pinky likes?" Hopefully, he wasn't those weird guys having big fat crushes on their teachers. Creepy.

"Well im glad I'd be the first and not miss wicked witch of the east." COUGHnikkiCOUGH. Shana smirked as Blake squeezed her hand. "You have to be my big brother now, because Im never going to see Ashton ever again, becauuse heees leaving a year early to go back to america." sniffle.

Shana rolled her eyes. "Oh yeah cause your totally Mister smooth." She said before giving a small scoff. "Yeah and Jake knows I like him, Lima told him. In our first year and hes probably forgotten by now but he still knows." sigh, why were they even talking about this ? "I really dont wanna know about you smoochey smooching with Helena." and again with the Jake talk. "No i dont know and stop calling him that!"
