A bit confused about the plot? Housemates talking about a mysterious something going bump in the night? Here's where you can catch up on happenings around the Castle, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade -- out of character, of course.

This means that unless your student character heard this stuff from other students or witnessed the actual event, your student character doesn't know about it.

We've got quite the line up this term with Miss Lupa for Runes, Ian Ashby for Charms, Mr. Truebridge filling the crazy shoes of Professor Lainey," he began and then started getting off track again. He really needed to stop fan boying over Rae and Lainey. He cleared his throat again, "Iliana Morgan as Care of Magical Creatures teacher, Anastasia Bunbury in herbology, the venerated and esteemed Professor Kazimeriz as defense teacher, and last, but certainly not least, the lovely Meredith Brooks-Byron manning... well, womanning, the infirmary."

"Well, I guess that's it for introductions. I look forward to a productive term and enjoy the food!" he finished up his speech with a wild flourish of a hand gesture and then sat down feeling like an idiot, but beaming and quite pleased and amused anyway.

"Well, that's that," he said, speaking to his now full plate

Three of the original House Ghosts have appeared at the student tables. Meanwhile, chaos erupted at the Staff table due to a student prank.

The Grey Lady was spotted in the Library. Now that the Ghosts are back this might not be news worthy, but it was WHAT she was doing there...

It appears that Peeves has defaced Professor Dumont's doorplate.

The professor's response was curious.

Why did Professor Dumont ask that Peeve's reappearance be kept confidential? Is something up? Or was Dumont secretly embarrassed by Peeve's ink shower?

Apparently Nearly Headless Nick is not only in search of gryffindors someone to talk to, he specifically wants to talk to his house's boy and girl prefects.

It seemed that the students might be getting somewhere in their investigation of the ghosts reappearance through their converstaion with the Bloody Baron:
