"Crazy but fun! And I don't care what anyone says, they are not stupid either. Well maybe a little bit...but whatever." she said, giggling. "Yeah, those silly prefects do do that alot don't they?" Her voice matching the sarcasm in Reese's.
"I have two. One brother and one sister. They are both older than me though. One is 15, and the other is 17." she said.

"Yep.Crazy but fun,"Reese said."I think it was fate for us to meet.We're like sister."She smiled at Allie."Yes,they do.But Cale is easy to get passed.You just got to know exactly what to do."She looked at Cale then back at Allie.Hopefully Cale knew they were joking around.Hopefully.

"That does sound awful. Brussel Srouts are disgusting, who like them anyway?" she said. "Well I'm glad your here now, anyways. You are going to love it at Hogwarts."

Nathaniel smiled at her. "I'm Nathanie James S. Cochran the Third... and you are?" Nate grabbed his backpack off of the ground and grabbed his contact and glasses case. He took his contacts out and put his glasses on. Where was everyone else? he thought to himself. Now having his glasses on he felt better.

Rose grinned, "Nice name" It was long but rather sweet, "I'm Rose...Merrick" She replied with a shrug. "Nice glasses" She added with a wink.

He giggled. "Thanks. I only wear my contacts when I'm out doing sports and such. So.. are you muggle born? Or what?". He knew he was going to like this girl.

Anna simply nodded when Reese thanked her for the invitation to sit down. Anna had recently decided that she was now ready to eat, and her mouth was currently full of a delicious roll. She swallowed, drank some more pumpkin juice, and then turned to Reese once again. "Good decision, if you ask me. I've never tried dying my hair. I think it's naturally too dark to hold any other type of color. That's perfectly fine by me, though, because I happen to really like my hair color. I'd feel too different with a lighter color," Anna explained.

"I'm actually doing pretty good. I'm excited," she said, her face lighting up again. "You may not be too excited when I tell you this, though. I'm a seventh year now. This'll be my last term at Hogwarts. Cale will be graduating, too, though, so I'm really, really happy to have been moved up."

Anna giggled and shook her head. "How did I forget that she required a dramatic entrance?" Anna jokingly asked. "Should I roll out the red carpet? Or, in her case, the pink carpet?" Anna turned towards the Hufflepuff table, trying to figure out just who Lyra deemed worthy enough to move tables for. When she couldn't figure anything out, Anna turned back to her friend and gave her a puzzled expression. "Who is it?" she asked. She imagined Kayla was one, but the way Lyra was talking, there were several interesting people she'd want to end up sitting by. "Oh! When you go to the staff table, take me with you! I've been anxious to see Professor Shackleton!" Anna exclaimed.

"Not too much. I didn't really do much over the summer other than spend time with my Muggle friends at home. They don't know about the whole witch thing, obviously, which is why I love hanging out with my friends here more," Hannah said with a smile.

"Two seems like a nice amount," Hannah said. "I've only got one older - Zeke - but I've got 5 younger, ages 4-9."

Lyra turned to look at Anna with a puzzled look on her face. "Two Gryffindors and two Hufflepuffs," she said with a raised brow knowing that Banana would know who she was talking about but just in case she didn't..."Kayla! And Dominic is pretty interesting to talk too.

"OH.MY.GOSH. Did you know that Kayla was a prefect? We found out in the train." Anna probably already knew that but Lyra nor Agie knew until that moment in the hallway of the train...when everyone fell on top of everyone and giggled.

Ah-HA!!! Here it was- her opportunity to ask candid questions. Why would she love it here? Well, of course she would...but she wanted specifics.

She pulled a piece of parchment and quill from her bag and covertly placed it by her plate. "Really? Why?" she asked, wearing a guise of innocence.

Anna whirled around sideways to face Lyra, accidentally knocking over a cup of pumpkin juice that had been too close to the edge of the table. "Oops," she muttered, and then waved her hand at the spill as if to say, "Whatever." She'd clean it up before she left. Come to think of it, it was pretty weird, but she always seemed to knock over at least one cup of pumpkin juice at every feast. Maybe that was her trademark or something. "Well, I figured you were talking about Kayla, but I had no idea you meant Dominic, as well," Anna said. She eyed Lyra and leaned over to whisper to her. "You don't have the hots for that boy, do you?" she asked. "Oh, and yes, I did know Kayla is a prefect. Awesome, huh?"

"Well, everyone is really friendly. Well, there are of course exceptions to that, but for the most part, anyway," Hannah answered.

Cale reached across the table and grabbed himself a dinner roll. Now that more people had shown up, he was ready to start eating, thank you very much. "So, what year are you, Zeke?" he asked. He was pretty sure he had never seen this guy before, but then again Cale wasn't a very observant person. Zeke could be in his own YEAR and Cale would have had no idea.

"Hiya Chris," Cale said with a smile as the 2nd year came over to join them. He grinned even wider when he mentioned that book Cale had been wanting to get a good look at. "Oh, sounds awesome! I can't wait to see it!"

He turned back to Lyra and shrugged as he took a drink of pumpkin juice. "I dunno...I don't even think I was here when you left," he said with a playful smile. "So I wouldn't really know. At least you weren't here when the Ministry professors were here--I could have certainly done without them," he grumbled. Especially Thorton. Ewwwwwwww. He had flashbacks of the drumstick incident in his dreams.

He chuckled and pushed a stray curl out of his eyes. "You know, I don't feel like you're in my year yet. I probably won't till we're assigned the same NEWT level homework," he added with a grin. Gah, the H word. You know what other word started with H? Herbology. Cale's LEAST favorite class. Ehh, he didn't have a while till he had to think about that yet. "Just think, next year we'll be all grown up and getting JOBS," he added with a small shudder. Just the thought of working in an office was kind of scary. Not that he was about to admit that or anything.

He took another drink of his pumpkin juice and looked at the table. "Hey, look, it's Paul Kutcher's name," he said with a faint smile. "Funny to think that guy is LIVING with me now."

"I like your hair the way it is now.You should never ever die it,"Reese said.She picked up a bun from the table and started nibbling on it.She listened to Anna talk and when she talked about moving up the 7th year,she almost chocked on her bun."Wh-at?"she managed to say.She sat her bun down on her plate and looked at Anna."You moved up to a-a-a 7th year?!"

"Well,it seemed like you had a good summer.I just hung out at my house.That's all I did,"Reese told Hannah."My life is pretty boring."

A dark cloud settled over the bright cheeriness of the Great Hall. Winnie heard thunder rumbling in the distance; she shivered slightly.

...Unfriendly people?

She paused, her quill in the air. "Exceptions?"

"I'm a 5th year this year," Zeke said amiably, grabbing a dinner roll. "But I've been homeschooled for the past few. I have 6 younger siblings, 5 of which are too young for school, so I stayed home to help my parents out."

Lyra tilted her head to the side as Cale began to speak once more about when she left. So that was why she didn't know the boy. Oh well. But then she couldn't help but laugh at the term with the Ministry Professors. "Oh I heard all about that term," she snickered then pressed her lips together. "I believe that Professor Clark's favorite person was someone named...Shaw? I think that was her name. Some old woman who only heard what she wanted to hear." She rolled her eyes then added. "I would have kicked someone to the moon that term." She was more than glad to skip out on that as she knew she would have been one heck of a troublemaker that term.

Lyra jumped at the spilled pumpkin juice that Anna knocked over. But when she leaned in to her ear and asked about Lyra having the hots for Dominic, Lyra pulled back and gasped in a dramatic cry. "Heavens NO! I do NOT have a crush on Dominic Denton!" And then she began to giggle knowing that might have been a bit too loud for everyone to hear. "He's one guy that I don't have to worry about hitting on me." Well that was a little conceited on her part but she thought it the truth.

"Oh, well, certainly not many. I can't think of anyone in particular, anyway, which means there must not be too many of them." Hannah said reassuringly.

"The sixth sibling - old enough for school, obviously - would be me. Hello again, Cale," Hannah said with a smile. She'd only met Cale briefly last term, but she liked him. He was a cool guy. "Hey, Anna," she added with a smile.

"It must've been." said Allie. "Ohh I don't know, I'm sure it would be sort of difficult."
"Four to Nine?" she said, surprised. "How do you even deal with that? I have aneought trouble with two!"
Allie giggled as Winnie took out her parchamnt and quill. She was a little different, but in a good way. Sh eoculd see them becoming good freinds.
"Just all the crazy stuff that goes on. There never a boring minute here. And the classes are good too, I guess."

"Oh,no,not difficult.Just use your words wisely and act innocent,"Reese said with a smile."Easy as that."

"Haha, I guess I'm just used to it," Hannah laughed. To Winnie, she added, "That too, definitely! There's ALWAYS something going on here!"

Sylvan Weatherskein was nervous. In fact, he was so nervous that his little body quivered from head to toe. Wrapped in his new Hogwarts robes which his mother had purposely bought slightly too large for him, he looked much younger than his eleven years, his thin frame almost lost in the excess fabric. A shock of white-blond hair stuck out from the top of his head and matching eyebrows gave a quizzical look to his youthful face. Serious blue eyes stared out at the Great Hall, drinking in the sights and smells. He could detect the odour of the evening's meal, and despite his anxiety, his stomach rumbled in reply. Giving a small sigh, the young Gryffindor did his best to stop shaking, and took a seat at the Gryffindor house table.

As he sat at the Gryffindor table, Sylvan's eyes darted around to each face that was around him. He seemed particularly focused on their mouths for some reason. As he watched, his eyebrows would furrow, as if he were concentrating really hard. Taking his eyes away from his companions for a minute, he grabbed a roll with his pale bony hands and began tearing it into pieces.

Zeke noticed a boy walk in who seemed to be shaking, his robes too large for him. "Hey," he said amiably to the boy. "I'm Zeke." He extended a hand.

Hmph. She wasn't quite reassured. Not enough details...too vague. Would someone not love her!? The thought was appalling.

"Hmm," she said quietly. "All right...I'm Winnie, by the way!"

"Crazy stuff?" Winnie asked, grinning. "What sort of crazy stuff?"

Nathaniel looked to his left and saw a first year looking frightened. "Hey there" he said to the kid hoping not to scare him even more. "First time to Hogwarts?" he asked with a slight smile. Nathaniel pushed his glasses up.
