Ari's face had gone whiet when Amelia had vomited, but then gladly professor Pride had vanished it. She sighed, moving a little further away from Amelia, concern written on her face. Her mind reeled as she sat back down and performed the glowing spell, this time changing the color to yellow.

"Could you perhaps transfigure your wand into something and still be able to use it?" Ari asked, the question jumping from her mouth.

Ryan GLADLY took the two tissues. He was not a fan of snot. Ugg....stupid winter.

"Thanks," he mumbled as he reached out for the tissues.

And then the Huffelpuff prefect vomited. Oh...great. "Sorry about the snot, everyone," he announced.

So ANY question....huh? He raised his hand and said, "Professor, it seems there are a lot of charms questions being asked here, so I was wondering what exactly the difference between Charms and Transfiguration is. It's obvious the two overlap, but all of the questions I'm thinking of relate to charms...I think."

Oh yeah....the snot was still on his face. With that, he bent his head and wiped his face clear of the snot. Ahh....relief!

"A simple duplicating spell would do the trick. Dupladius" and viola, Danni had two desks.

Danni frowned, "I dont think so, but then again I've never tried. I would be to afraid of not being able to turn it back."

Willow nodded at the teacher and took a couple of notes in her parchment. She came up with another question, so she quickly raised her hand, and asked politely, "Professor, what spell can we use if we would like to transform any kind of object into an animal? let's say umm.. into a bird...,and I'm sorry for asking too many questions by the way" she looked at her parchment, feeling that her cheeks were going pink

Seth raised his hand again "Is it possible to change an object from, for example, solid to liquid?"

"Cool" said Kayla as the Professor created two desks. "May I practice that spell" she asked eagerly.

"Charms tend to make an object do something, like come to life or a door that would smack someone who tried to open it when it was locked. Transfiguration changes the shape or conjures objects. But you are right, the sujects are similar."

"Dusarius Biradium would be the correct spell. And it perfectly alright that your asking questions, thats what I'm here for."

"Yes"

Miguel Alfredo 12-02-2007 02:10 AM

"Can you tell us how to do it, then?" Seth asked.

"So, is that like physical vs. chemical change in Muggle chemistry?"

Diabolica grinned. "Welcome."

Ari nodded, understanding "Yes, I can see how that would be a problem. I wonder if anyone in the history of Wizarding kind has tried it though; it would be something to look up in a history book." She replied, making a mentlal note to do so if she got the chance.

Listening to the Professor and the fourth year girl talking about transfiguring wands Kayla decided to speak up. "Wouldn't it be impossible to transfigure your wand, I mean you need to point your wand at the object you are transfiguring how can you turn your wand upon itself. And if you did succeed in doing it, how would you be able to turn it back. Say for example you transfigured your wand into a rubber chicken, how would that rubber chicken be able to turn back into your wand. Does the rubber chicken hold magical powers" she said looking slightly puzzled.

Willow heard two of her classmates having a discussion about wands, so she decided she could say her opinion, "well, If you get to transform your wand into a rubber chicken, I suppose that even if it looks like a rubber chicken, it would not change the fact that it is a wand, so I suppose it would hold its magical power" she said quietly to both of them

Kayla looked over at the Ravenclaw girl who had spoken up. "Hmm maybe but what if I transfigured my wand into say a roast chicken and ate it, what then I would have no wand left would I" she said raising her eyebrows.

"Well, it's like Willow said ,the rubber chicken coul still hold the magic of the wand. This is all heresay however since no one has actually proven it's true. I'd like to try it thoug, but I'd have to do some major research first." She replied, not meaning to start a discussion about the topic.

Ari couldn't help but chuckle a bit and replied, "Well, if you did that then you should know it's your wand. You'd be ale to feel the magic in it. I know it's possible to feel the magic if it's powerful enuogh." She finished, a slight frown on hre face.

"Well, You wouldn't have A wand then. It would be your own fault, since you ate it." Tanceren suggested then snickered afterwards. Who would want to Transfigure their wand, anyway. He turned back to face the professor.

"Well, It wouldnt be such a wise thing to do, if you transfigure your wand into a roast chicken, don't you think?, but in any case, if you accidentaly eat it, I suppose you can always go to St.Mungos and tell them what happened so they can take it out before it returns to the original form, which would be the wand" she said all of this calmly, and trying hard not to laugh of the fact, that someone would like to transform their wand into roast chicken

Kayla rolled her eyes at the comment the Slytherin boy made. "I was just using it as an example" she snapped. "I was merely commenting that I thought it was impossible to transfigure your wand and that if you could do it then you would find yourself in trouble if you transfigured it into something else and couldn't get it back" she said through gritted teeth after hearing the Ravenclaw's comment. "Geez I was merely making a comment I didn't think it was going to turn into some full fledged debate."

Tanceren Smirked at the first year. "I know it was an example. Dont get all..Testy. I was just giving You an answer." He narrowed his eyes on the girl then turned back to the professor, Snickering.

Kayla looked back the Slytherin boy and she felt her anger start to rise, she really did not like the Slytherin's and this one was really starting to irritate her. "And I appreciate your input" she said with false sweetness. "Next time try saying it without the attitude" she muttered under breath.

DeathEater24601 12-02-2007 03:13 AM

Diabolica glanced at the Slytherin and the Hufflepuff who were talking in class. If houses could just get along....she shook her head and sighed.

Tanceren turned back to the girl. "There, was no attitude there, Dear. I was just answering simply." He corrected her. He gave A small smile then turned back.

DeathEater24601 12-02-2007 03:18 AM

Diabolica grinned at the two who were quarreling. It was quite amusing to watch.

Helios Sunrider 12-02-2007 03:19 AM

Helios cocked an eyebrow as those cloudy blue eyes followed the non-verbal exchanges between Tanceren and Kayla. Reading their body language, the square shouldered prince had already had his thoughts on transfiguring wands on his lips.

"Mostly swords and staffs. Usually things with a point so that spells can be cast. The accuracy is rather subject though, but in a battle you take what you can get. Shields are not out of the question for defensive purposes. It is not an easy practice, nor is it simple to return ones wand to its rightful state."

There was a hint of matter-of-fact in his voice, though mostly it sounded as if he were repeating a text.
