 Opening the door, you come into a large, airy office. There are drapes of silk over the open windows to give the room a rather pleasant orange glow, not to mention air out the place.
In one corner, is Professor Maline's desk and chairs either side, pictures of family, and close friends litter the wall beside it, lazily tagged up by pins, and momentos of previous happenings like ribbons, and tickets are dotted about between the pictures.
In the other corner, sofas and arm chairs are placed around a coffee table with several refilling plates of cookies spread about. Mugs of hot chocolate, and glasses of juice are beside the cookies, and next to one of the couches, is a crib, for the very teenage Perry, Professor Maline's spider monkey.
The whole place looks far to clean to be a office of a Care of Magical Creatures Professor, but taking another look you realise that just by her desk is a door, leading to a room full of Animals, around the light fittings, are several snakes, and Anna, the snake of Professor Malines' is curled up on a bean bag beside Ophelia's desk. The door is open for you to just walk in. | |

Ophelia sneezed again, and a rabbit bounced out of her robes, her hair a complete mess compared to it's usual romantic feel. A knock at the door made her jump and quickly cleaning up her usually scatty office she called "Come in!" as if everything was normal.

Chloe walked up to the door of her favorite teacher's office and knocked a couple of times. she heard voices inside and thought it to be rude if she interupted the professor and her guest. so she decided to sit down on the floor beside the door and wait for her turn.

Alicia quietly walked to Professor Maline's office. She saw another girl sitting down outside the door. Giving her a small smile, the fourth year gently knocked on the door, not wanting to disturb the Professor or the other guest she had in her room at the moment too much.
Alicia was happy to get to see Professor Maline, and the adorable-but-probably-not-so-little-anymore Perry of course. Afterall, she hadn't seen the woman since last term. She patiently waited as her dark brown eyes looked around her. | |

Armand walked up to Ophelia's place and noticed a small gathering of students there. After a moment of thought, he decided that it was likely worth the wait. After all, he'd been rather neglectful to her lately, and it really just wasn't right. And before whenever he left because there were students about, it seemed like he never had time with her. He leaned against the wall, thinking of their first term there, and chuckled lightly. Their dear Jasmine had worked so hard to play matchmaker.

She beamed, missing her closest friend at Hogwarts dearly and embraced him suddenly, before releasing him as she sneezed violently yet again. "Oh dear, i hope i haven't given you this by doing that..." She exclaimed, realising what she had done. "Come in make your self comfortable of course," She insisted, summoning hot chocolates for all in her small sociable area. Within a matter of moments, she had shut the windows with her wand, lit the fire, made sure everyone was comfortable and with a drink, fed all her animals and watered them, then sat back down in her bean bag, covered in a blanket with her small, strangely pale hands out to cover her mouth when she sneezed, a familiar beam across her features.

He smiled softly and sat by Ophelia, giving her a small hug. "You aren't looking to well, my dear." He pulled out a few vials and studied each of them carefully before selecting one with a yellow-ish orange clear liquid in it and putting the others back. "It's not much, but a small drink of this will ease the sneezing for you," he said, handing it to her.

Alicia was about to enter Professor Maline's office when Perry seemed to appear out of no where and pulled her in. She giggled softly at this and gently pet the spider monkey on the head. "Hey Perry," she whispered softly.
The Gryffindor sat down and gave the Care of Magical Creatures Professor a grin. "Hi Professor Maline," she said brightly. Though the expression on her face quickly became curious as the Professor started sneezing. "Are you alright Professor?" she asked. | |

Tancred walked down to the Grounds and headed for Professor Maline's office. She was one of the few people he could trust with telling his sticky situation choosing either Amelia or Liz. Professor Maline was his only and last hope. If she couldn't help him, no one could. It was all up to him to get some really good advice from her.
He stopped at the door, raising his fist slowly not quite sure if he should really do this. He slightly pulled himself together and knocked on the door three times. It was now or never. He had to do this. He couldn't have his heart torn between two girls that he really liked a lot. He had to choose one of them, and only one.
"Professor Maline," Tancred said, door still not opened quite yet. "It's me! Tancred Adara. I need to talk with you about something ... important. Very ... important." He took a few steps back. Maybe this was a bad idea after all. But maybe, just maybe, this little talk with Professor Maline would help him. He needed all the help he could get on this situation!

After waiting for about half an hour, Tancred turned around and left. She must not have been in her office. Most likely somewhere else, he thought. He'd figure out how to solve his problem. Now there was only one question: where's Professor Maline?
