Hey, what’s up y’all! Welcome back to our channel. Today I’m here with a special guest, and SnitchSeeker’s Member of the Month for January, Chelliephone! *readjusts the vlog camera* Thanks so much for helping us ring in the new year! To start us off, could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Aahh I'm so excited to be here and to be able to do so for the start of 2022! But yes, my real name is Michelle, but I tend to go by Chelle here. I work a couple different jobs in RL, including wearing the mom-hat for two squirts and a four legged child. I've had an account here with SS for 14 years, but have taken multiple breaks. It's so nice being back and active in this lovely community!

And we, I’m speaking on behalf of everyone here #sorrynotsorry, are so very excited to have you here! I have the utmost admiration for all our SnitchSeeker moms, y'all are truly superheros with all that you juggle. With that in mind, do you have any time for hobbies outside of SnitchSeeker? What do you find yourself doing when you have some free time?
I love seeing what other moms on here are able to do with their kiddos too and ugh, they're such goals! Truthfully, I don't have too much time for hobbies. Usually when I get any type of downtime, I start a new Korean or Chinese drama or if I'm feeling REAL ambitious I'll play Skyrim on our PS4.

Oooh, I’ve not watched any myself, but I have heard a lot of really great things about Korean dramas, in particular. What about them do you find to be most captivating? Is there a reason why you look to Korean and Chinese dramas specifically?
I get a lot of my dramas from friends’ recommendations, either others here on SS or my RL bestie, which is why it usually boils down to those two. Kdramas were the first I binged and it really just came from an interest in the culture and the language. I'd always heard the best way to learn a language was to immerse, and tv seemed the best way to do that. Though I've been so sporadic I've hardly learned anything!

It takes so much brain power to learn a new language, why can’t the brain just do us a solid and absorb everything?!? Truly upsetting. It’s so nice that you can turn to the SS community for varied recommendations though. SnitchSeeker is coming in clutch! Speaking of, what brought you to SnitchSeeker in the first place? What did you see that made you decide to sign up and stick around for the long run?
That would truly be lovely!!! Potions should exist and there should be one to assist with this problem!! It's been one of my favorite things about the SnitchSeeker community by far. 13-year-old Chelle had never heard of an RP community before (as shown by my early RPs, sorry y'all), but I had recently found Harry Potter and I LOVED it and when searching for discussion forums I found SnitchSeeker and I was too intrigued by the RP portion to not sign up! And it was the love of RP that always eventually brought me back after absences.

Ugh. Bless. I’ve never been on any other RP sites, so I’m not informed enough to say this, but I’m going to anyway: SnitchSeeker is the best of the best when it comes to the RP. And while we’re on the topic of RPing, you joined the Diagon Alley shopkeeper team a few months ago (many congratulations!), could you tell me about your character, Braylon? Actually, I’m selfish - could you give us a general sampler of some of your favorite characters that you’ve played?
Why need to find others when you've already been on the best?! So I absolutely agree! I did! To sum Braylon up into one word -- Loud. He's extremely extroverted and he just loves people, though it's certainly a hit or miss if that is reciprocated. He's really been fun to play though, and I'm so excited for more potential opportunities to get to do so! And yes! My all time favorite was my boy, Anakin. He was my third or so character on site, but I was most active with him and I just really loved him - he was quiet, sweet, and remarkably stubborn. Playing his daughter (my character Kimberly) was also something special, just because of the differences between her and her parents. Evan is my current school character, and he's been really a joy too, as he's the first character I've played so thoroughly who was gifted to me as part of another RPer's established family!

I can only imagine how fun it must’ve been for you to explore the differences between Kimberly and her parents after having played both! When it comes to doing the deep dive and trying to get a read on your characters, how do you go about getting that grasp for their personality? Is your method different for each character or are there any go-to methods you’ve got up your sleeves?
It was so much fun! Brigette (AlwaysSnapesGirl) plays K's mom and the other of her siblings that I do not, and all the interactions we've gotten to have with them have been among my fave RP experiences! For character personalities, it tends to be pretty different for all of them; primarily depending upon if they have an established family or if it’s a full start-from-scratch. But my new go-to that I'm adopting is to plan nothing. No matter how much planning I do, the moment I start an RP for them they go “lol, nope” and then turn out entirely different!

RP families make me extremely emo. There’s just so much depth to explore. But I’ve got to pull myself out of this before I start getting weepy in front of you. *AHEM* Where were we? No planning. Yes. Characters. Yes. Harry Potter? Wanna talk about Harry Potter? What brought you to the world of HP? How old were you and what was your first Harry Potter experience?
I will sit here and weep with you because they're just so beautiful and I love seeing them and being a part and UGH. *wipes eyes* Yes, Harry Potter. I can talk about that! My first experience was actually negative. My brother knew I was petrified of snakes so he made me watch the Chamber of Secrets KNOWING it would give me nightmares, I was, like, 8 at the time. He felt bad after a few months and encouraged me to read the books because he thought I'd actually like the series, so he gave me his copy of Sorcerer's Stone. After that first book, I was hooked!

NOOO!!! The second movie was actually terrifying!! I remember having nightmares about giant spiders for weeks! I’m assuming Chamber of Secrets might not be your favorite movie then? Do you have a preferred movie ranking and, if so, is it the same as your ranking of the books?
It traumatized 8-year-old Chelle for a while! I did NOT like the spiders either, but they were secondary to the basilisk! It is not. I think for movies it would be 1) Goblet of Fire 2) Prisoner of Azkaban 3) Sorcerer's Stone, 4) Order of Phoenix, 5) Chamber of Secrets, 6) Deathly Hallows (both parts) and 7) Half-Blood Prince. For the books, it would actually be counting backwards from 7-1. I loved the later books, but my favorite portions were left out of the movie adaptations, so I didn't enjoy those as much.

The fourth movie is absolutely iconic, and those haircuts? *chefs kiss* I’m curious to hear about these favorite bits though. What was a scene you really wish wasn’t left out of the movies?
It was SO good, and the haircuts were beautiful. Also, the scene with McGonagall and Ron dancing? Perfection. One of my favorite scenes in the Half-Blood Prince was actually Dumbledore showing Harry the memory of Merope Gaunt and her family. I just thought it was SO interesting to get to see a glimpse of Voldemort's ancestors, and I was really looking forward to seeing how they portrayed that in the movie, and then it was entirely left out.

I loved everything about that scene, especially when she went "I will not have you behaving like a babbling, bumbling, band of baboons." RT if you cri evrytiem. You just unlocked a major memory with that HBP moment though; I completely forgot that we were given so much background on Voldemort’s family in the series. I've always felt the books did a much better job of exploring characters. Do you have a favorite character out of the bunch? If that’s too difficult, I’ll even let you choose a top THREE.
The alliteration, the delivery. *chefs kiss* Truly the most comedic scene of the series! While it didn't hurt the story to not have it, I'm a sucker for background. What I'm also a sucker for? House elves. Winky and Dobby were by far my favorite characters. But if I was going to add a third as well, I'd say Remus Lupin. My favorite of the DADA teachers and a tie into the best Marauders era.

We really don’t deserve the house elves, they’re so wholesome ;-; I can see why they’re your favorites - they’re cute, they’re kind, and they prepare AMAZING feasts. My mouth is watering just thinking about it… And now I can’t stop thinking about it. So I have no choice but to ask you about food now. What is your FAVORITE food of all time?
They deserve so much more love than they receive ;__; Favorite foods are SO hard! I like a ton of different types, but my current obsession is pizza with garlic sauce, bacon, and artichoke.

Holy moley, this sounds incredible!! So let’s set the scene … You’re sitting at a glamorous dinner table, naturally there’s a fancy chandelier overhead, all the works, and you get to share this fantastic pizza meal with ANYONE, fictional or real, who are you choosing as your pizza-party plus one?
This question has SO MUCH PRESSURE TO IT. Only ONE? Um, um. I'm going to go with a Harry Potter related answer and say James Potter. It'd be so fun to hear first hand stories of all the escapades we can only assume happened. Plus the story of James + Lily - Severus. Fanfiction is just not enough!

I am such a diehard Jily fan, you are literally speaking to MY SOUL!!! And I agree wholeheartedly, I’d especially love to hear about all the pranks he pulled back in the day! Are you much of a prankster yourself? What type of student were you in school?!
I just want to know more!! I will pull pranks on my husband, but they're not very inventive. It's usually just surprise NERF attacks. In high school I was such an overachiever :lol: Yearbook, Student Council. I was definitely more Remus than James or Sirius.

That still counts!! And honestly? Relatable content. If your husband were to assign you a yearbook superlative, what do you think he might choose?
Oh goodness. Well I would HOPE from him it would be 'Beauty and Brains', but realistically he'd probably put me down for class clown.

HAHA, I love that. You can be Beauty and Brains in my book any day of the week! Is it cool if we switch gears a bit and get spicy with some rapid fire questions? Think you’re ready for it?

I'm a Kpop fan so I'm going to go Super Junior, BTS and Blackpink.

If I were a cereal, I'd be Rice Krispies, because I definitely snap, crackle, and pop when I move.
