If you're talking about the School RPG, my advice would be to start a new character. The current year in the RPG is 2100 right now (I think, correct me if I'm wrong), so previous school charries will have aged by now. The Ministry of Magic sorting should be coming up soon, though, if you have an adult charrie! As for the school, sorting and RE-sorting is going on right now, so if you are interested in a new school charrie and/or a new house, now's the time to do it!

With three kids now, I decided what would be best for me is just focusing on one part of the RPG right now. Since the school is my favorite of the two, the school it is! I do have 16 weeks off work, though, so I might apply and see what happens.

I have no willpower when it comes to starting RPs and creating charries.
