Walking into her department heads office, Liz regrets having Becki be right on her tail from the minute she left the conference room. She knows, there's more... she thinks to herself. Deciding to play dumb, she tries acting nonchalant. As long as she acts like she didn't do anything wrong, she figures Becca wouldn't be too upset. She was just holding on to the orbs, til they got back to the Hall of Prophecy. Yep, that was it, her story. Yep, and she was sticking to it. |

When she was done with making sure her son was comfortable, Becca sat down in her chair and looked Liz into the eyes as she pulled out the orb from her bag "Would you like to explain how this came into my possession outside of the room?" she asked softly. |
Quote:
"I ummm, put the orb into my bag, because well...we heard you call everyone to the meeting." Refusing to look down at her bag, to avoid recognizing that she had more in her bag. Remembering to back to the room, she remembers the trance she had been in...shivering at the thought of going back near all those prophecies, but yet not thinking that it might still be happening with the prophecies in the bag. |

"Drink? Something to eat?" she offered, gesturing to a cup with a smile "I have everything except coffee." |
Quote:
"It was well, as if I were under a trance, I guess." she says shrugging. "I couldn't take my mind off them, even when I went home. And I was hoping to, well... |

Placing the bag in front of them on the desk, she looks to Becca, to see what might happen now. Trying to keep from biting her lip, that might give her away, she tries to look serious. |

hehe lol! Quote:
They were hers, they really were! She wanted to scream, but knowing that Becca would look at it differently, she tried keeping herself from blurting that out. She now wished she could just run out the door...with HER prophecies. |

Putting her bag in the drawer, she then looked back to Liz "They're not yours to keep. It's dangerous to take them down from the shelves and take them out of the hall." she explained calmly and softly, trying to make Liz see how important it was to keep the prophecies in the Hall of Prophecies. |
hehe couldn't resist, it's just too quiet lol Quote:
Jumping out of her seat, she starts pacing back and forth. "I need those, they tell me things are going to be alright. I can't sleep, because I keep thinking about them. "They're mine!" she shrieks turning back to Becca |
Quote:
"Liz." she spoke calmly, looking at the obviously upset employee "They're not yours, you shouldn't be depending on them." Becca's hazel eyes looked up into Liz's face, trying to decide on something. "They belong to the hall, that's where they should stay." |
Quote:
Ready to burst into tears, any second, she slumps to the floor, pulling her knees to her chest, rocking back and forth. "I need them..." she adds pathetically. |

Torn between wanting to stay next to her son, and wanting to comfort Liz, Becca glanced at James who was sleeping and reluctantly got up. Moving around the desk, she put her arm around Liz's shoulder "It's okay, come on.." she smiled, thinking that this was a Mungo's case "I know, the department can be crazy.. and I'm going to get you help, okay?" Becca promised "Sit up on the chair, come on." Gentle encouragement was best, right? |
Quote:
To exhausted to argue, she dreads what was coming next. She probably looked totally crazy, now. Her brother Pierre, would definitely be ashamed of her. But yet...they were her prophecies! She cries inwardly, frustrated, that she couldn't have them back. |
Quote:
"Okay.. yes..." she muttered to herself as she started writing. When she'd finished up, Becca smiled "Liz, I know this is going to be horrible news right now, but the standard procedure for this kind of incident is removal from the department.. and transferal to St. Mungo's." she said softly, watching for Liz's reaction. Gently stroking on James' tummy to keep him asleep, she searched for some kind of emotion in the woman's face. |
Quote:
With a realization hitting her, her eyes widen, "St. Mungo's? What did I do? There's nothing wrong with me... I just want my prophecies back!" |

What had gone wrong? And Why! Tears coursing down her cheeks, she watches as Becca waved her wand, and she could here the lock fall into place. She was trapped and she knew it. "What's gonna happen to me?" she asks aloud to Becca. Looking up ather still, a tear falls from her eye, coursing down her cheek. Her face looking tired, like she hadn't had sleep in weeks, she slumps down lower into the chair. Her mind racing, she's unable to full relax. Afraid for what will happen to her, but also what would happen to her job, and where she was going to go from there. |

Looking around frantically, she pulls her bag to her. Pulling books and papers out of her bag, she digs faster. "It's gone!" she cries. The second wand in a year, gone completely. Just like the prophecies... Where could it be?!?! she wonders frantically. Never have been as upset as she was now...she's not sure what she's gonna do now, without even her wand. |

Her primary concern wasn't the very afraid woman in front of her, it was now her son. Moving over to James, Becca rubbed on his tummy gently and hummed soothingly to make him fall asleep again "Sorry baby." she whispered gently, kissing on his head before picking him up in his portable bed and looking at him lovingly. Turning back to Liz, she smiled again "Ready?" Becca picked up both bags and pointed her wand at Liz to check she didn't have her wand on her. |
Quote:
She knew the department head, didn't want her having it for her own protection, but it was very disconcerting to not even know where her wand was... |
