Dora patted him on the arm instead of the head and nodded. "Take all the time you need, Pierre. I am not trying to work you all to death. Maybe we should do one last potion for today and then head on home. How does that sound?" she said with a motherly smile.


Dora smiled at Emelda and said, "You know, I think maybe I should try a potion. I hate having you all be the guinea pigs for everything. I should get in here and get my hands dirty as well." She flashed a grin and then furrowed her brow.

"Do you think you could brew the antidote, or should I take care of it before I take the potion? You did a fantastic job. But I don't want to push you. Only if you are comfortable with it. I could always talk you through it." she said rather quickly, bouncing a bit with excitement. She loved teaching new skills to people... or helping them inporve. Because it was clear that Emelda had a knck for poitioneering, maybe she just lacked the confidence that was needed.

Emelda smiled at Dora and replied "if you have a book i can work from then i will be happy to whip up the antidote" Emelda quickly cleaned the couldron from Pierre's antidote and waited for Dora's instructions.

Dora smiled at Emelda and went to rummage around in her bag. Not finding anything there she thought for a moment. "You know, I think I can find a book of antidotes. Let me run up to Level 4 and ask my hubby if we have it at home. I will be back in a mo'." she said with a smile.

She had yet to visit him in his new office and that was reason enough to go see him.

She walked to her desk and began to gather her things.

Emelda smiled and nodded as she watched Dora walk out of the room, she walked over to her desk and went through her bag and found a mirror, she opened it up and checked her make-up to make sure the steam from the last antidote had not made her make-up run. Emelda smiled happily as she saw that it was fine and flipped open a magazine and began to read waiting for Dora to return.

Pierre smiled "so where did you learn how to brew potions like that?" he felt himself blush slightly. Great he felt nervous again.

Emelda put down her magazine and looked up at Pierre and replied "i never knew i could my potions master at Hogwarts always told me i could do better if i put my mind to it." she smirked and contiuned "the problem was i didn't want to i was more intrested in the boys" she winked

Dora reentered the Locked Room, arms laden with bags of goodies. She carefully set them down on the desk and smiled at Emelda and Pierre. "Alright, gather 'round. I have bezoars, antidote books, and some potion ingredients. Time to get to work. Sorry for my delay... apparently there is an uncontrollable blob in the apothecary so yeah..." she said and shook her head.

Smiling at them both she said, "Now which of you will brew my antidote? Or should I just be given a bezoar at first?" She really hoped that the two lone employees would step up and take to the task, but she understood if they were skeptical.

Emelda smiled when Dora returned and she quickly pipped up "i would happily work the antidote again Dora, unless Pierre wants to?" she stood up and wandered over to Dora's desk to have a look at the things she had brought.

Pierre looked up and shook his head "by all means Emelda do whatever you'd like" he gave her a small smile "I'm sure Dora won't mind....in fact you choose the next bottle." He stood up with an exhausted look and walked over to Dora's desk tilting his head in curiosity.

Dora smiled as her employees worked so well together and she nodded in encouragement. "Yes Emelda, why don't you choose a bottle and brew the antidote. Remember to get the antidote done before I take the potion though, okay." she knew that Emelda and Pierre were capable of brewing the antidote and taking care of Dora also.

Emelda smiled at Dora and walked over to the cupboard with all the potions, she saw big bottles, small bottles and wierd shaped bottle's as she moved the bottles around she heard the faint cling they made when they knocked into each other, as she move one of the larger bottles she spotted a red one with a twisted neck it was rather dusty so she pulled it out of the cupboard and blew the dust away. Looking on the bottle she noticed an old piece of parchment and in neat handwriting the words.....

Emelda looked at the bottle and turned to Pierre and Dora and replied to them "i have found a potion for you Dora" she walked over to her desk and whispered "Scourgify" to the equipment she had just been using, she opened the book that Dora gave her and began to look for the antidote.

Dora smiled as she watched Emelda begin looking for directions on an antidote. She was really taking to her employees, they all seemed so eager to work... the ones that were there anyway.

Dora went over and plopped down on the couch that Pierre had conjured and waited fir Emelda to get done. She stifled a yawn and began to fiddle with the sleeve of her robes.

Pierre raised an eyebrow as he eyed the bottle "are you sure....it looks quite...old?" he said lamely "potions tend to mature over time..." He gave Dora a worried look. Maybe he should help with antidote.

"Dora you don't mind if I take the potion?" he asked watching his boss play with the sleeve of her robe. "You seem tried..."

Dora furrowed her brow and shurgged her shoulders, "If you insist, Pierre. Go right ahead," she told him with a smile. Truth was, she was always tired, but she did like that they were taking the initiative at working harder. It made her happy to see them being so gung- ho.

She rose slowly from the couch and walked over to the cauldron Emelda was working at. "Find out what each ingredient is and then find the ingredient that is the antidote for that ingredient, because there most likely won't be antidotes for these particular potions since they are yet to be Ministry approved, hence our testing them," she told Pierre and Emelda both. "I brought these bezoars in case something is misbrewed or too strong." she added as she opened one of the bezoar boxes

Pierre nodded as he bit the inside of his cheek. Dear Merlin...this job was tougher then it had sounded. He nodded at least they were prepared. "Emelda if you need any help ask me before I take the potion..." he whispered giving here a small nod.

Pierre seemed awfully nervous about something. Tilting her head to one side Dora asked, "Pierre, is there something bothering you? I am a good potioneer if you are worried, I could brew the antidote."

Pierre shook his head "I was just...thinking about my daughther" he said putting his hands in his pocket You're an awful liar Pierre! Just dreadful! "I haven't writing to her...she must be worried...but I'm fine really."

Dora quirked an eyebrow and shook her head, sure he was lying to her, but she didn't push it. She simply patted him on the arm and said, "WHatever you say, Pierre."

He nodded playing with his wand inside his pocket even though he firmly believed in basic wand saftey still...
"Whenever you say Dora I'll take the potion...though I think it's best to wait until the antidote is done..."

Emelda had been distracted while looking for the antidote of this potion she had nodded and soforth when she thought was necessary, she picked up the bottle and pulled the cork out with a slight pop she put the bottle under her nose and took a sniff of the potion and smirked she quickly flipped through the pages and landed on one that said she quickly started brewing the antidote before Pierre took the potion, she followed the instructions carefully, and when the antidote was a white colour as stated in the book she smiled at herself and said "here you are Pierre" handing him the bottle "the antidote is brewed," she winked at him and went and sat down on her chair and waited for him to take the potion.

He nodded nervously....oh Merlin. He opened the bottle, at least this potion didn't smell bad, it smelled like cinnamon. He tipped the bottle over and drank it in a gulp....
Nothing...so far

He looked up at Dora and Emelda with a smiled until he felt as if his head had been set on fire. "Head...head ache!!!" he screamed now kneeling on the floor....ow ow...
Pierre felt himself sweat, he heard laughter, yelling...his daugther voice calling him..... "Stop it!"

Pierre began to scream and flopped onto the floor and Dora scrambled over to a box of bezoars and shoved one down his throat. While waiting to see what the outcome of that would be Dora noticed a memo float into the room and land on her desk. Grabbing it she ripped it open and read it.

Looking to Emelda she said, "Emelda, look after Pierre, I have to go right now." ANd with that she grabbed her bag and headed out the door as fast as her preggers little feet would carry her.

Emelda kelt next to Pierre and positioned him so his head was on her knees and he was laying flat she brushed his hair and started to worry, that was not a love potion she thought she decided to figure out what it actually was when Pierre recovered.

He heard Dora's voice but nothing else. He felt someone brush his hair...it was relaxing, Pierre was curious to see who it was but his eyes would not open...at least for now they wouldn't. Please I can't be dead!Wait I'm still breathing...at I believe I am...Still I wonder what was that?

Emelda saw the sides of Pierre's mouth twitch he seemed relaxed but still wasn't opening his eyes, she continued to slowly run her hands through his hair, she thought about his reaction to the potion, headache....headache all of a sudden she smiled she knew the type of potion this was she just couldn't remember the name the only word she said was "curse"
