LOL Izzy. Not quoting anyone but TO THE RECEPTION WE GO! Wesley's grin only increased when his friends started clapping and whistling. Even Izzy was in on the joke, hehe, even if she did look a little stunned by his awesome. Well well, they could continue that kiss later; now it was time to move on to the reception! Wes shook the priest's hand and spoke with him briefly, noting that the poor fellow still didn't realize he'd lost his speech impediment, and then posed for pictures with the rest of the bridal party. Pretty soon though, everyone was once again assembled in a different room of the hotel for the reception. It was decorated similarly to the original bridal room, with pretty blue walls, white table cloths, gold accents, and purple lilac centerpieces on every table. The bridal party sat at a long banquet table at the front of the room... |
Ahh. Photos. Lots of Posing. Pretty Photos. Isobel was getting kind of hungry. This wedding business made her very hungry. Good thing she'd never have to do it again. Isobel was glad now that they were sat at the bridal table. Actually she was pretty surprised she could sit down with her poofy dress. She may have needed a little help to get back up, but she'd consider that later. With a smile on her face, she turned to look at her husband. Wesley. Her husband. That was just never going to get old. At last. She was going to get to keep him forever. That was such a nice feeling. Izzy was not going to share him with anyone. Well apart from the MLE, because she kind of knew what that department meant to him. Forgetting about all the guests for a few moments, she leant over, carefully to not fall off the chair, and kissed his cheek softly. "I love you Wesley." Well duh. She had just married him. But you know. She wanted to tell him, because she was cute like that. |
I'M FINALLY POSTING HERE!!!!... Hi everyone! Emily was STARVING! ... Who knew throwing flowers and stuff could be so ... nauseating and tiring. Still, the wedding was amazing, and the NEWLYWEDS were so sweet, she couldn't help but actually smile. Genuinely. Getting through the photos wasn't easy though, cause it was so not her scene. Pictures and flowers and smiling and stuff. Blah. But the best thing about it was... it was over! MEANING! It was reception time!!!! Emily knew from experience that these were much much much more entertaining and FUN. Now... where was her food? and some elder-flower wine would be nice too. Looking out at the OTHER tables, Emily wondered what they looked like from their perspective. Being part of the Bridal Party had its perks, but it also meant that people had to look at her. Which was creepy. THANKFULLY, Izzy was the FOCUS of the whole thing, being all stunning and radiant and so forth. |
He followed the rest of the guests over to the reception area, looking for whether or not there were assigned seats for the guests noting the wedding party was at least kept at the banquet table. So Jax, Legend and Emily would be there, leaving him to mingle with his other co-workers and various other guests. Okay so he was officially understanding the full reason why weddings can be uncomfortable for single people. And people in his situation of course, his gaze once more looking as discretly as he could looking for a certain blonde. Dare he sit with Ali and Kyle innoscently enough knowing one from school, the other from the department? Maybe he should bring others to keep it from being ackward, the YATI's eyes now searching for his other two friends that he was happy were seemingly back together. "Hey Ev...Josh," he greeted coming up beside the couple. "Fancy sitting together?" Simon asked, discretly guiding them in one direction towards a table that could work for the two blonde women as well. |
Heather followed the flow but the second she entered the reception area she shuffled nervously from foot to foot. Where was she going to sit? Not really much of a where problem as a with who? She wished she had taken up that plus one but she didn't know anyone to bring. Still shuffling in place she finally decided to make her way to a table deciding that if someone wanted to sit with her or talk to her they would. Or she hoped someone would talk to her. Either way she would enjoy this. |
HUZZZAH! They were married... wedding over... no need for a TIE anymore. Damien grinned triumphantly as he reached up and loosened said tie and slipped it over his head. Tucking it into his breast pocket he glanced around at the other guests. Hmmm. Lots of MLE, of course, people he did not know... and LOADS of people he cared about seeing. Good times. He made a beeline for Evander and grinned like a bandit. "Hey." Yeah he may have grunted a bit. Maybe. A little. Heh. |
Jaxton grinned, all wide smiles and happy eyes as everyone joined in with his cheering as two of his best friends tied the knot. He continued to clap until he let one of the bridesmaids take his arm as he walked her down the aisle. Before they followed Izzy and Wesley so that they could get their pictures taken. Again. And again. And again. .... AND AGAIN. He sighed slightly, but couldn't really contain his grin. WHAT! HE was happy. Not that he wasn't looking over his shoulder every now and then to make sure everyone was safe. .. What? Just because he was at a wedding didn't mean he had to stop being an Auror, did it? After they got to the reception, Jaxton's eyes immediately searched to find two women. Specifically, two blonde women. His eyes found Alicia and Kyle. He smiled and moved over to them so that he could talk to them before the meal. "Hi, baby." He muttered softly into Alicia's ear, as he moved up behind her, his hand resting on her hip. "Hi, Lea." He smiled at Kyle. "Did you both enjoy the service?" He asked them. |
SPOILER!!: Simon! Merlin... She didn't know whether to try to keep a straight face or let out the giggles every now and then. Evelyn tried her best though, to keep quiet. Thankfully it wasn't much later did that priest man start talking normally, and then the wedding was over! She clapped with everyone else and followed along to the reception area. Hmm, she could handle THIS part. The sitting and mingling stuff. Speaking of mingling, she noticed a certain other Gryffindor heading towards them. "Simon." she smiled, not at all minding his suggestion. Well, she didn't mind. She was sure Josh wouldn't either. "Of course. How have you been?" |
d'AWWH. The happy couple were finally married. Sherman couldn't help letting out a tiny squeal once the ceremony was over. He liked going to weddings. They were so sweet! And they were places where you had a reason to squeal. Which he did a lot. He was still slightly sad that it was over, but instead of moping a bit, he decided to follow the large crowd heading toward the reception area. He wheeled on the side of the mob and tried to not to wheel over peoples toes. Which he might have done. O___________o He didn't pay too much attention to toes, 'cause they could come under his wheels whenever. And when they reached the reception area of the hotel, Sherman let out another squeal. He hoped nobody had heard it. But this area was so pretty! Maybe he should pick a random woman and propose to her just for the sake of getting married again. 'Cause he wanted a pretty wedding, too! But. Not minding that, the old man followed the people from his Department through the crowd and looked at the space in between al the tables. Were they going to have to dance? 'Cause an old man couldn't do that. But he could totally wheel around the people dancing. He could definitely do that. SQUEE. |

When he came to stand behind her she couldn't help but lean into the embrace. It was like hugging but she could feel his heart beating and she could smell him behind her and everything about him being there made her oh so happy. "Hey" she smiled back to him before she turned around not even losing her footing - which was most likely a first. Tipping her head up she gave him a quick almost impossibly fast kiss on the cheek and then proceeded to hug him. "So how is that cheek of yours doing? Almost a miracle or dare I say an act of magic that the Priest began to speak...well, without the impediment?" She asked raising her eyebrow slightly and chuckling. Her hand instinctively going to his tie where she smoothed it out. She loved the feeling of it beneath her fingers. So soft, so silken and just perfect. "You did a great job up there" she smiled. Kyle smiled when Jaxton came over - he was her aunt's boyfriend and it wasn't like he was simply going to disappear quickly or suddenly. Kyle wished that Ed could have been there with her she would have loved to have been able to show him exactly what a hilarious priest was. He wouldn't believe her most likely. Or so she thought. Glancing around the room she sent a quick smile to Simon making sure to mask it as quickly as it had escaped her. She wasn't going to out him on the only occasion that they had gone to since, they hadn't gone to it together. Glancing around the room she searched for people she knew. Ah, Vicky was here - and Neptune she'd have to talk to her sometime soon. After all she was a smart former Ravenclaw and knew that being friendly with people was always good. Still she couldn't help but smile when she saw another former Ravenclaw. Emily. She had to say hi to her soon - well that was only decent since she hadn't seen her former schoolmate since she had received her YATI information. She hadn't seen her since before the pirates. |

"I love you too, Isobel," he grinned and kissed her back. "How does it feel to be Mrs. Ferguson?" Heh. Speaking of the original Mrs. Ferguson, Wes caught his dad's eye and gave the man a wave, then blew a kiss to his mum sitting beside him. Good thing his dad hadn't publicly accused Izzy of being a spy yet or anything. |
Kyle and Ali <3 SPOILER!!: Ali and Kyle Jaxton smiled, his thumb moving gently over the material covering her hip - something so simple that no-one else would probably notice but he knew that Ali would like that he was showing her some form of love and devotion in public. He hoped. "It hurts." He grinned, smiling at the pair of blonde females. "But I'm sure it'll be fine." He laughed softly, and looked at them both. "How did you both manage not to laugh?" He was generally interested how nobody had laughed through that service. It had been amazing of course, but seriously? His lip had a cut in it from where he'd bitten it so hard. Whoops. "Oh, it was nothing. Wasn't like I had to do anything hard, except be there for Wesley." He grinned though, he'd loved standing up there. |
SPOILER!!: Ev, Kyle, Ali,Jaxton Simon nodded and fell into step with Josh and Evelyn as they all made there way to their seats, where-ever they wound up to be. He spotted Jaxton heading to Ali and Kyle's table and swallowed. Perhaps his original idea of sitting with them wasn't a very good one. "I've been alright...busy as I'm sure you know through Josh." They were, after all, leading identical lives, jobwise anyway as second year trainees. "And yourself?" he asked, returning the smile and favor as he took a seat at another table just shy of his first intended destination. No need to interrupt and make things awkward. His choice of chairs however did succeed in putting him so he could see Kyle but the older couple would have to move to see him. Thank goodness for small favors there. Speaking of which Simon caught Kyle's quick smile and brightened his own just a tad. Hopefully his own table mates wouldn't think anything of it. Weddings were supposed to be happy, smiling occasions after all. |

Vicky moved the area where the reception would be and saw a lot of faces she knew but have never met. Raising her chin a bit, she sauntered along toward a table. I was friends all around, old and new as she looked around. |

How did it feel to be Mrs Ferguson? Isobel grinned at him. "It feels pretty good." It really did. She figured she'd be able to give him a more detailed answer in about twenty years? If he hadn't died by then. Izzy had a feeling that wouldn't happen though. She followed his gaze to his parents, giving them a warm smile. She did love them, even his dad when he wasn't calling her a spy. He hadn't done that yet today. So it was going quite well really. |

"Look, darling, they're setting out the buffet." He nudged his head toward the food, noticing that his dad had turned his head that way too. Heh. Like father, like son. "Shall we lead the way?" Of course they should; they were the bride and groom. And they were HUNGRY. |
Bit of Wes and Izzy too Quote:
Turning toward the voice Damien smirked a bit. "I don't get out much anymore, you know. Good to see you, Dacs." He extended his hand to her and smiled genuinely now. "No longer with the Ministry I hear." Yep he hears things. YEP. Casting a glance at the newlyweds Damien made a gagging sound at the LOVEY DOVEY display those two were up to, but smiled afterward. He was once a newlywed, too. Heh. HE GOT IT. But still. Tone it down a notch, please. He didn't want to lose his lunch on his suit.. |
Roro. :3 Alysson was still feeling a little light-headed after the AMAZING ceremony. Nothing had gone wrong. Somebody had even fixed the priest's speech impediment - and she highly suspected Althea to be honest. She was going to have to ask her later. Now she was looking for somebody else though. Since Izzy was now busy being married to Wesley, Alysson had of course decided to leave her side and see who else had come to the wedding. A lot of MLE people were here, both current and former. Van was here too of course, along with Lilyan. She was going to have to find those two later as well. And Damien. And Sherman. He had looked particularly taken with the ceremony. Once again glad that her heels provided her with an extra few inches, Alysson tried looking over the heads of all the people, in search for William. Not that she was too successful with that. She was still a little shorter than a large number of people here, especially the male part. So all she could do was wander around the room, hoping to just run into him. Maybe they should have arranged a meeting point or something. ...he hadn't LEFT again had he?! |

Should he continue to whisper at the blonde who'd been next to him at the ceremony? Should he go bother Dash and his "date" for the duration of the reception? Really, all he wanted was to find his own not-a-date-date, but apparently she was in hiding or something. Sigh. Willy's shoulders were just slumping down as he relegated himself to having to sit with Dash when he spotted just a flash of a lilac-colored cocktail dress and shiny brunette hair. "Alysson?" he called out automatically, craning his neck in the direction she'd just disappeared from. "Alysson!!!!!!" He sped up and pushed through some spaces that were probably too small for him to push through before he finally caught up to the back of her. "Alysson Zookara!" Willy reached out a hand to tap her (or the person he HOPED was her) on the shoulder. "Hello?" |
Maybe she should stand on a chair or something. Though Izzy would probably not approve too much if she did that. One of her bridesmaides getting up on a chair without good reason. Even though Alysson did have a good reason - at least in her eyes. And this WAS a wedding so Izzy might just be okay with it too. Anything for lov- No, she didn't just think that, no. Must be the ceremony making her feel a little elated or something. Blushing slightly despite herself, Alysson sighed and was just about to return to her seat next to Izzy's when she heard something. Was that...was somebody calling her name? Were there any other Alyssons at this party? It wasn't such an unusual name after all so it might just be somebody else calling for their- Alysson Zookara Okay, that definitely was her. She stopped right where she was, craning her neck slightly to see who had been saying her name. When suddenly somebody tapped her shoulder. Whirling around on the spot to see who it was, Alysson found herself grinning up at none other than the person she'd been looking for. "William! I found you!" Or well, actually he had found her but that was beside the point. Taking both of his hands in hers she sort of pushed herself up a little to kiss him on the cheek. "Thank you for coming!" She whispered before lowering herself down again and taking a tiny step back. "Soooo...do you like it?" The ceremony, the reception, just everything basically. The wedding in general maybe. Aly wasn't even sure herself what she was referring to exactly. |

Like a Hufflepuff. Heh. No, it was surely a MLE thing. He started turning red at the mere kiss on the cheek and nodded, not trusting himself to speak just yet. Pondering for a moment on what she meant by 'it,' Willy decided to go with her short little dress. She DID look stunning in it, considering how it fit her like a glove, and, well, he couldn't focus on much else now that he had her up close. "Yes," he agreed wholeheartedly, giving both of her little hands a gentle squeeze. "I DO like your dress. You look more beautiful than the bride." Hopefully she hadn't heard that. Even in a poofy dress, the blonde at the front of the room looked like she could kick his butt. |
Luckily, Alysson didn't notice the distinct red glow to Willy's cheeks or else she would have probably blushed as well. Which was SO weird by the way. She never blushed. Ever. Unless she was around him. It was slightly...frustrating to be honest. She wasn't entirely sure what to make of it. Anyway, nothing she should be worrying about right now. Right. She should probably let go of his hands again. Since there was no need to hold onto them anymore, right? Uhm, right. Returning the squeeze with an almost coy smile, Alysson finally - and somewhat reluctantly - released her hold on his hands. Her dress?! "Oh, I didn't-" But then he went on talking and she couldn't stop herself from reaching up with a giggle to put her hand over his mouth. "Shh. If Izzy hears that, you're dead!" She said dramatically as her eyes briefly flicked over to new Mrs. Ferguson. Right she was busy anyway. Good. Lowering her hand again, Alysson blushed - ah there it was! - slightly as she brushed some imaginary dust off her dress. "But thank you." She smiled up at him fondly. No need to point out that she hadn't in fact been talking about her dress. "You're looking very handsome as well." As if for emphasis she reached up and started playing with his tie, her lips curling into a small grin. |
N'aww they weren't holding hands anymore! Well, that was all right, Willy supposed, even as he did glance down at his slightly tingling hand. It was all right 'cos he wasn't a little kid and he didn't need to have his hand held all da time. Having her fingers on his lips were better. Hehe. Willy couldn't help but give Aly's fingers a tiny kiss before his mouth curved up into a smirk. "She wouldn't kill meeee," he drawled in a lazy whisper, also shooting a glance the bride's way. "I'm way too good looking!" Her husband, on the other hand, might just be a killer. He looked like one. Lookithim, all big and tough and... man-y. But anyway, back to Aly. He also glanced down at her dress again and once more blushed at the thoughts going through his mind. "Um. Gosh. Thanks." Willy sorta shoved his hands into his pockets since he didn't know what to do with them now. "Spare a dance for your handsome date later?" He gave her a hopeful smile. |
Quote:
"Yes." She nodded with a smile. Because well she figured that he would like to eat. Wesley did rather like his food. |

"Nope. I'm back to running black ops. You know how it goes. I haven't been here in months. Came back briefly after I left the ministry but couldn't stay. Haven't heard my name in some time now. Only my chosen or given identity but it's the job.How is the family?" she asked looking at him knowingly. She never not knew what went on with all her old pals here. Her job allowed her to find out anything she wanted. She did it keep an eye out for any approaching enemies. |
