"The dance is a few days away." Calbasas told the girls. " Be good or it is the end of the other half of the house" Calabasas grinned.

"Alright...I will be good...but...just...don't cause my heart attacks to come back, because there will be no partner if you make me angry..." Melinda warned.

"Thank you..." Melinda said, and ran to her friends. " I am really sorry, girls...really sorry for all this.." Melinda said.

"there are dresses in the closet girls and you will wear them for the dance" Calbasasa told them. Jason heard Calabasas make his cousins and girlfreind dance for those creeps. Jason tells them again- "Chris, Victor and I will save al of you."
Mow if we all stay calm, everything will be ok girls, got it?" Calabasas tell them in a polite manner.

The week at the mansion had passed. Melinda, Delilah and Rian had been practicing with Cale and his dumb friends. They were prepared, though not very happy to keep going with this lie. The dance contest was just a few hours away, actually just two.
The most thing she missed to have on this summer, Melinda was thinking about her friends. Victor had put her into this trouble, she was feeling pretty mad at him after thinking about some situations. She couldn't stop thinking about all the trouble all this made for her and her friends. She felt guilty.
Her dress was ready, fixed as she wanted it to use. She just hoped Cale gives his word some worth.
"We are ready, Cale..." Melinda said.

The girls do not know something good is going to happen to them .

Melinda knew something was not quite working, Cale was smiling, something she would say was totally weird from him. She took his hand and they entered the dance floor, with a classic jazz tone, in front of the judges, and they started to dance.

Cale is Victor dancing with Melinda, Shotgun is Jason dancing with Delilah and the other bad guy is really Chris dancing with Rina. Jason , Chris and Victor did a changing spell earlier but couid not tell the girls.
Calabasas and his bad guys ended up in Azekaban. Monica escaped the other part of the house which was actually the bad house but unfortunately Anna's aunt died helping the boys with their plot

Melinda was pretty shocked after some of the surprises the boys had for them. She laughed, but still was mad no one had told them. "You...are scaring...me...Victor...and I have to talk to you..." She said to her boyfriend, as she was going to break that relationship up. She walked out of the dance floor, not waiting to recieve any prize for her participation. She took his hand and said:
"I just believe this is not working...I...just can't...keep this going...what do you say=?" Melinda asked him.

" Melinda what is wromg? Jason asked her. "Sorry, we had to trick you but this is the only way we could get thos thugs away from you" jason told Melinda.

Delilah danced with the thug and grimaced. Well Cale was busy, she could take her anger out on this guy. She was about to do something when she found out it was really Jason she was dancing with. She smiled and said "What did you do to the thug?"

Victor, Chris and I forced them to switch with us without them knowing Delilah." Jason told her. "All of us had to play the bad guys so you would realy dance with us" Jason told her.

"Umm....yes..." Melinda said. "I just don't think this is working..." She added.

Melinda could notice Victor was pretty mad, even though he tried to hide it. She hugged him, and kissed him as good bye. "I think you deserve something better, someone your age, someone who shares your dreams...me...I have others...and...I can't go on..." Melinda said. "Thanks...for all those incredible moments..." Melinda said, trying to hold back her tears with lots of gulps.

Victor sighed "Alright bye Melinda." he said hugging her back, and then he left, he had no reason to be there anymore.

Chris saw Melinda and Victor talking then Victor leave. He went to Melinda. "Hey Mel are you alright?" he asked.

Chris, go and take care of my cousin right now " Jason told him.

Melinda could not hold her tears as she saw Victor going away. She just started to cry. Then, she saw Chris. "I had to break up with him...it was not working..." She said, through tears and hugging him.

Chris hugged her back. "Wow Melinda I am really sorry." he said to her.

"I...just feel so bad...because...I really tried, we both tried...but time...was against us..." Melinda said, still crying.

"Well maybe it just wasn't meant to be. Maybe Victor just wasn't right for you". he said. He felt really bad for her.

Melinda let go of Chris's hug. She wiped away her tears and started walking away. "Would you like to walk...anywhere...?" Melinda asked Chris. Walking was something that always calmed her, even when she had her heart attacks.

"Yeah sure. Just wait. Chris took off his jacket and tie, He had gotten dressed up for the dance. He started walking with her. You know you are a really good dance?" he told her.
