Elizabeth looked at him and blushed at what he said, "Je suis honoré que vous pensez que, mon amour. Je t'aime plus que la lune, le soleil et les étoiles. J'ai de la chance de vous avoir comme moi." Her French accent was coming into her voice as she grew tired and yawned. She kissed his cheek and curled into him. |
Jack smiled. "You're tired, dear..." He said and picked her up, not bothering to care if she didn't want to be picked up. "Let's head to bed..." He said walking into their room and laying her in their bed. |
Elizabeth sighed and gave him a look as he picked her up. She decided not to complain since it was useless anyways. She looked up at him and smiled, about to say something when Lucas came running in, "Dada! Story! Story!" He grinned and launched himself at Jack. |
"All right, one story.." He said laying in the middle of the bed so he could sit with Elizabeth and tell Lucas a story. He told Lucas a story about one of he and Millie's first adventures together. "Now it's time for everybody to go to bed..." He said giving Lucas a hug and putting an arm around Elizabeth. |
Both Lucas and Elizabeth listerned to his story. Lucas hugged Jack back and went to sleep instantly. Elizabeth smiled at him then up to Jack. She didnt want to sleep yet despite being tired so she took Jack's hand lightly. |
Jack stroked his wife's cheek with his hand. "I love you.." He whispered to her. |
Elizabeth smiled and whispered back, "I love you too, dear." She looked into his eyes as he stroked her cheek. |
"Thank you for trusting in me..." He said knowing if she didn't before she had to by now. "And for changing me...you never tried but your love made me a different man and i'm very grateful." |
"There is no need to thank me, my love. We help each other out." She curled into him, careful not to bump Lucas. |
Jack held her closely. "I know...but thank you regardless. I seem to fall for you all over again everyday." He looked out the window at the moon. |
Elizabeth blushed and smiled up at Jack, "You do me honor with all the compliments, my love, but you are far greater than I ever could wish to be... I mean you put up with my temper and me despite how bad it gets." She stroked his cheek, lightly. |
Jack smiled at her a chuckled a little. "Elizabeth, i've done horrible things. I have no room to judge anyone in this life...Your good out weighs the bad...I'll always love you." |
Elizabeth smiled at what he said and kissed him lightly, "You are amazing still though, Jack." She looked into his eyes and found herself calm. |
"I try for you.." He said softly. "And i'll keep trying." |
Elizabeth smiled and closed her eyes, going to sleep. |
Jack settled onto her shoulder and did the same, passing out. |
Lucas woke up first and he started jumping on the bed, not wanting his parents to be asleep when he was full of energy. Elizabeth grimaced as she awoke and tried to stop Lucas from awaking Jack. |
Jack was a heavy sleeper so he stayed asleep, snoring. He woke up every few hours during the night to think about what Henry said and even reading a few books about Horcruxes. |
Elizabeth let Lucas be and went down, starting to cook breakfast. |
Jack smelled food and woke up, it was the first time in weeks he hadn't had to cook for himself and Alice. He opened his eyes to see Lucas jumping on the bed. "Feeling better?" He asked the boy with a laugh. |
"Dada!" He tackled Jack and smiled, "Yep." Elizabeth sang a French song as she cooked breakfast. She was making Jack's favorite breakfast. |
Jack grabbed Lucas and stood up. "Let's go see Mama.." He said walking to the kitchen. "Maybe in a little while we can go exploring." He said putting Lucas down and walking up to Elizabeth, hearing the song a smile spread across his face. Hewent behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "You sound lovely, Dear.." |
Lucas nodded, "Okay, Dada." He smiled and looked at his parents. Elizabeth instantly went silent as he put his arms around her. She blushed in embarassment as well as also the compliment. "Thanks... though I am horrible at singing..." She really did think she was. |
Jack kissed her cheek. "Well i love it. I've missed your singing..." He said with a small chuckle. "How did you sleep?" |
Elizabeth smiled at the kiss on the cheek as well as him saying he loved and missed her singing. "I slept pretty good and you?" She looked up at him, leaning into him slightly. She turned a few moments later and kissed him lightly before turning back to her cooking. |
