Jacob shifted Nessie, still in his arms so she could see Jordan. He smiled at them both and looked at Nessie. |
Cam wished she were in her wolf form, for then she would be thanking JAcob with all her heart. She didn't want Nessie to see her in the wrong light, although she had tried to explain... Cam sighed as they continued to walk. "You guys must have been walking all morning," Cam commented cheerfully. She wished that someone had come with her. She was beginning to trust this Lauren woman less and less. |
Lauren looked up and smiled slightly, "Yeah being around 40+ people almost constantly can get annoying so we took a walk I think we left about 8 30 or so who knows" she said shrugging slightly. "I know you hate me Cam and I know you dont trust me" she said slowly "I wish you would trust me I swear as soon as NAdia is healed we will be out of your hair but until then can we please stop the 3rd degree and try to get at least decently along?" she asked slowly. |
Cam raised an eyebrow. "Well, you're right about the not trusting, you haven't done anything yet to earn my trust," she told the girl. "Hating, however, is a little extreme," she said with a grin. She stopped walking and faced Lauren, who seemed to be a good head shorter than her- probably due to her werewolf blood. "Look, we can get along decently when I know that my family is safe... and your story is just a little extreme for me," she told the woman. "Technically, I have been decent- I have a whole other side that you would not want to deal with!" she said with a laugh. |
Lauren smiled slightly, "Oh ok...well I am sorry that you dont trust me and I will try to earn your trust as quickly as I can alright" she siad slowly. |
"Let's hope so... otherwise you're going to have some unhappy people to deal with," she said with a smile. She realized that she hadn't been watching the ground, and kicked herself. She took in a breath, and was happy to notice that along with both the usual Vampire and Werewolf smell, there was also the smell of Lauren and her friends. |
Lauren smiled, "What do you mean you guys seem like relativly normal people, I mean kinda" she siad slowly. "Plus I am pretty sure half of the people back there want to kill me." she said slowly. |
Cam glanced back toward the house, starting to feel uncomfortable about the amount of distance between them and it. She looked back at Lauren and smiled, especially at the remark of them being normal. "No, they don't want to kill you," she told the girl. "They are just all feeling cautious... we heard that something bad was going to happen, and then you came knocking on our door," she told her, carefully watching which words she used. |
Lauren smiled, "you guys heard something bad was going to happen and we just literally knocked on your door." she said with a chuckle. "that would scare anyone into being cautious I understand" she siad with a smile. Nessie looked at Jacob before shrugging and walked off towards her bedroom. "Im bored of this." she sang as she walked. |
Jordyn stood up and walked over to the window again, it seemed to be 'her spot'. She didn't know why, people just left that spot to her. She sat down on the window ledge and sighed as she looked out the window. |
Jacob looked behind him as Nessie left his arms. "Bored of what, Ness?" he asked, following her. |
Nessie shrugged with a smile and walked to her room and started to play completely bored. |
"You do too know," Jacob said, leaning against her wall. "If you want something to do, I'm sure we can find something." |
Nessie smiled slightly, "Jakey why does everyone hate Lauren and they are just needing help" she said with a small smile. |
Jacob looked at the little girl, thinking of the answer. Nessie was smarter than the regular child, so he had to carefully [and he meant carefully] think of the answer. "Well, Ness...it's difficult. We can't trust people as easily as you can. We're skeptical about how she found this house easily." he smiled at her. "It's not that we hate her...we've just been, um..." he paused to think about the right word, "tricked a lot in the past." |
(4 Days!!! Til Twilight comes out!!!!!) Nessie rolled her eyes and through her hands up in the air. "Yeah and Cam went out with her just the check things out" she said with a small smile. She looked around quickly, "I can't believe some people they just want help I thought we were supposed to HELP people!" (Please let me know if you guys want to skip ahead a little bit please...we can skip to where like Nadia wakes up and they leave to report back to Voldemort let me know asap!!!) |
ooc: OMG!! THAT'S AWESOME!! Jacob sighed. "Nessie, you should help people, but don't be so trusting! You can trust us, we're your family and friends. We care about you. But there are some that don't care. Not everyone in this world is like you, Ness," he smiled, kneeling down next to her. ooc: I don't mind. Whatever is fine with me!! |
Nessie sighed deeply. "But Jakey they look like us...I mean well you more than me and mommy and daddy but like....Why not they seem so nice and that sick girl is sick and they dont know what to do. What if they were just running around in the woods trying to find their way out but they got lost in their confusion and everything" she said stamping her little foot trying to get her message across. |
(Alright you guys should all recieve a PM from me) Here we go: moving ahead 1 week Lauren was the first to apparate and appear in front of Voldemort. She bent down and kissed the hem of his robe. "You called m'lord" she whispered. |
"Have you earned the family's trust?" Voldemort asked, glancing down at Lauren. He gently stroked Nagini's head, who hung around his shoulders much like a boa constrictor. |
Lauren smiled slightly as she stood up, "Of course we have its been almost a week, Nadia is recovering well so we will be leaving soon but I am pleased with how much the group has learned. I know almost all of their traits, names, and powers" she said with a grin. "Plud surprisingly the little girl trusts me" she added with a chuckle. |
ooc: You didn't say anything about Jacob...is he still the 'Alpha' or is it Cameron? [I'm just asking because that's what it sounded like]. Jacob watched the group leave and then turned toward the Cullens, his brown eyes nervous and weary. He cleared his throat and sat down on the couch, thinking things through. He was nervous for some reason. |

Jasper frowned, feeling the emotions around him. He didn't like it, too much anticipation and nervousness, especially from the mutt. He looked at his family, grasping the hand of Alice and holding his breath. Emmett flexed his muscles and stood still against a wall. He had no idea what was going on, but he pretended like he did; the usual when Emmett couldn't grasp anything. He looked around the room, examining the faces of the others quietly. |
Jordan jumped up from the floor and went outside. She quickly phased and started to run through the forest, she needed to get some fresh air. She smelled something peculiar and headed in the direction of the smell. |
