Emma Watson, Katie Leung, Robert Pattinson, producer David Heyman and director Mike Newell were in attendence at the 'Goblet of Fire' red carpet premiere in Tokyo this past weekend. Videos and pictures from the event can all be viewed here
Of special note, Rupert Grint was unable to attend due a death in the family. You may view his statement here. The transcript is as follows: Quote:
I cannot go to Japan because my grandfather died recently, I'm really sorry. I am bearing the sorrow with my family in London. I really loved him and he was a real Harry Potter fan. So I was really glad that he was able to see the newest film before he died. I'm going to be filming Order of the Phoenix in February. I hope everyone likes Goblet of Fire. Please enjoy!
I'm sure that all of us here at SS send our heartfelt condolences to Rupert and his family during this time of loss.

oh, that must be devastating for Rupert, & yep @ least his granpa saw GoF... well condolence for Rupert & all of his family... 
the pics were great, Rob was really handsome, & i thought Katie would wear a kimono but she looks nice with blue satin dress, and Emma what  again are you wearing?  i know its bit cold there in Japan but that's one huge blanket...

my grandfather died before i was born...and the other one didn't live wid us.....like he lived in other country....but i loved him dearly.....

I saw those pics of Mike, David, Emma, Katie, and Robert at the Tokyo Premiere before, so that's not really new. They really look great in them. Although the videos are new to me and the comment made by Rupert. That's such a sweet thing that his grandfather got to see the movie before he died. My heart goes out to Rupert and his family. It's always heartbreaking for someone close to you to pass away.  | |
