Video: Emma Thompson talks short Deathly Hallows shoot for Trelawney & sister Sophie

In a new interview, actress Emma Thompson spoke about her small role as Professor Sybill Trelawney in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and what her two-day stint at production consisted of. Emma also briefly discussed the fact that her sister, Sophie Thompson, was cast in the final films, as well (as Mafalda Hopkirk), and a movie still she saw of Daniel Radcliffe as Harry dragging Mafalda's body off in London. "They were very quick," she admitted of her two days on set. "I just had to do a bit of waving of a wand and a bit of 'ooooo-ing' over dead people, because of course they just had to fit absolutely everyone in."

Thompson said the guest-actor-heavy shooting schedule felt like a "conveyor belt of characters, as this extraordinary machine came to its end."

"It was incredible to see everyone and just sort of quickly say hello and goodbye."

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released November 19, 2010 and July 15, 2011.

how can you not know the name of the character your own sister is playing? lol oooh i realy like that scene where they take the polyuice potion and go into the ministry of magic :)

That's great that she is in the movie. I didn't think that she was going to be because of scheduling conflicts.

Interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing both sisters on the big screen for Deathly Hallows. Emma Thompson does a great job as portraying Treawlney. :)

Hasn't she read the books or even found out the story line somewhere...didn't she do the script read through with the cast way back last year?

there is an undertone of negativity in her latest interviews about Harry Potter...she sees it as a giant, robotic machine of sorts.....
